All the reviews on Kifflyn are accurate. She is an incredible stylist. In 40 minutes she shampooed me, cut 10 inches off my hair and turned it into a flawless Hollywood-worthy lob. I am blown away. I lived in the DC area for 10 years and have had $150 haircuts that didn’t look half this good and took twice as long. The hype is well deserved. I won’t go anywhere else.

I moved to Corning just over a year ago and I picked Fringe and Kifflyn based on the shops reviews. I haven’t been disappointed! Kifflyn can cut, color, highlight and any other crazy thing I request. I am in love with my hair, she makes me feel younger and pretty. Her prices are very reasonable considering how talented she is and I recommend her to anyone who asks!

Kayla is amazing. Go there with an idea show her picture and makes it happen. Great work, works efficiently and uses great products on your hair. Will send you links to be able to purchase the products if not available there.

Kifflyn did my hair and I am absolutely obsessed! I’ve never had my hair come out so good. The amount of compliments i’ve gotten is insane. I highly recommend her and will definitely be coming back!

I adore Kris and her staff. I have been going to Fringe for years and will never go anywhere else. They are always accommodating and do an exceptional job. I have always been happy beyond expectations when leaving. I recently took my son for his first cut and Kris was amazing and patient with him. I simply can’t say enough about Kris and Fringe. Absolutely wonderful!!!

I have been coming to Fringe for the past 4 years and every time I leave the salon chair, I feel like a new human. I no longer live near Corning but I trust the work that Kifflyn does, so it’s worth the drive every time. She is always timely and communicates clearly so we are on the same page about what style/color I want. Kifflyn & the rest of the staff at Fringe are all so kind and fun to chat with. They use amazing products too.

I have been going to Fringe for over 5 years and I have always been extremely happy and satisfied with everything. The salon is clean and tidy! The staff is professional and always doing their best to make the customer happy! The stylists are friendly and timely and the teamwork is a strength. I have been going to Kris for almost 10 years now and I did not know her before my first visit. She has highlighted, permed, cut, and styled my hair on various occasions. Kris is really good with suggestions and taking care of my hair. She has always been professional, and her business has always been clean and looking great. She is so easy to work with and is a hard worker. I have never had a stylist for as long as I’ve been going to her in my life, and now she is also a friend. I see some reviews that do not seem legitimate to me. It always has been clean and very tastefully decorated. If you are a reviews person like I am, please look at reviews from people that have actually been there for services. I definitely recommend her services.

I've been happily getting my hair cut and styled at Fringe for years. The salon is immaculate, warm and welcoming. Part of what makes the salon welcome to all, is their active acceptance of clients from all backgrounds and ways of life. They do not tolerate hatred in any form and this is what sets them apart. You can always feel safe and respected entering their salon. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel luxurious, pampered, and comfortable when you enter their doors. I’ve been going to Kris for over 10 years, before she even opened Fringe. I’ve followed her to every salon because she is that good. I have a lot of hair and it’s thick! She and Kifflyn are able to manage my hair through every step of the process and make me look exactly how I want every time. They will both do my hair, together, on occasion! . Cut, color and style are always perfect. I even still will drive up from Washington DC to get services because I know what I’m getting. Top notch quality, every time. They both continue to learn and go to trainings/conferences to hone their skills and never get stagnant. I’ve been to other salons in the area, even on the same street and they do not compare. Kris & Kifflyn actually had to fix my hair twice after I went somewhere else (different places) and never once did they shame me for not seeing them first. They consoled me as I cried about my experience (yes it is that traumatic when your hair gets messed up). It’s an amazing salon with wonderful stylists. Cant recommend enough.

Kifflyn has been my stylist for almost a decade! Today, I visited her for highlights and a hair style. She gives a great scalp massage during hair washing. I’ve never left the salon with a bad hair-do, and today was no exception! I love how she colored my hair. I recommend this salon to anyone who wants ze’s hair to look it’s best!

Kris and her employees are always the epitome of professionalism, kindness and excellent expertise! I have been going to Kris at Fringe for almost 10 years and have never had a bad experience! Recently I was supposed to get a blowout in preparation for a visit to Nashville; when Kris lost hot water, she offered to meet me at my house to do the blowout! Masks and all.....also, a few years ago when my mother passed away, Kris squeezed me in to do my hair so that I had one less thing to worry about the day of her funeral- and she refused to take any money. Without one single doubt you will be more than pleased by the service and kindness provided by Kris and her staff at Fringe!

Saw all of the 5 star reviews and assumed they were real and that I was in for a treat! I don’t live in Corning, I come here for work. First I was greeted with Rude staff who didn’t smile when you enter and treat you like they are annoyed when you talk to them. The older woman there cut my bangs all wrong and rushed me out the door because she had another appointment. She might have just had a bad day today but I don’t think this is acceptable behavior and I hope they get it together so someone else doesn’t have to go home like this.
