Tywan did an amazing job on reattaching my locs after 2 years. He was very knowledgeable about hair care and maintenance. We had a bit of a hiccup with the app. But friend 24 Salon made it work and took very good care of me. We knocked out 10 hours of work and I couldn't be anymore relieved. Update i took a shower after working out and several of my locs fell out. I didn't let my hair get soaked or have on tension on them.

I found Friends when I relocated to the area. I have locs and am selective when it comes to who touches my crown. I did my research and found Rhon ❤️ I’m so glad I did! His salon is professional and has a welcoming atmosphere. He is an established stylist and has a line of his own products. He is very knowledgeable and personable. I love that I don’t have to wait for my appointment time. It is super easy to book through the website and the communication is quick which is a major plus. They will also book around and accommodate your schedule. Highly recommend!

Very professional. Easy to schedule online appointments, text message notification, with address and map attached. On time appointment, I didn't have to wait at all. Affordable prices, Great service. Very Satisfied.

Highly recommend Friends salon for the Loc fam! I lived out here in Central PA 2+ years and finally found a salon that caters to my thick locs!!!! Thanks Jahayda again for hooking me up for my graduation pics. I'm definitely making another appointment soon for my grad day! 😎

I took my 5 year old here... don't do it. The fear on the barbers face and total "I don't want to do this" vibe was very unwelcoming. My son did fine and the haircut turned out nice, but the welcome was colder than I would seek in the future.

Moved to Dallastown PA from Columbia MD in 2007 and Rhon has been the best and top of his game for me! 😊 I'm that woman who's gone from perm to the big chop, a number of colors, long hair to pixie, wave nouveau, silk press, natural, and back! AND still I rise with healthy hair! Lol 🤣 I've watched him navigate and come through financial, personal, staff/personnel, several locations and even relationship challenges all while bending without being broken. But God! ❤️ Rhon is the Master Stylist extraordinaire with personality charm and flair! His 24 hour salon concept even brought services to my home while I was recuperating from surgery! He is The Best! I highly highly did I say highly? Yes highly recommend him and his shop of multidisciplinary professionals, but you can't have my spot! 😜

Rhon has been perfecting hair for many years. His team is AMAZING!!..they speciize in hair color, locs, natural and permed hair, wigs, weaves, nails, eyebrows and ao much more..Its a ONE STOP SHOP 24 hour concept, which is genius! The atmosphere energy is calm and family oriented. They really go out of their way to please you.

My first experience at this salon was amazing. As a new resident in York, I was looking for a long time to find a hairstylist to take care of my short hair. This is my spot. Professional, clean, welcoming, you name it...IT'S AT FRIENDS! Rhon has been my stylist for almost 20 years, though he is my personal favorite, I have been a fan of Miss Z...she a bad one too!!! I have never met a stranger there, and it is always good music and some aromatherapy gone on in there! As of recently, it has been upgraded to 3 levels of service! Yes, unheard of!!! This was my first experience at this saloon and I must say I am super pleased about my results! I went in to get a silk press done and it was the best silk press I’ve ever had! I’m thankful that Ron even took me in last minute! From the moment I stepped into the saloon the greetings that I got was so warming , clean environment! I’ve never had my hair washed the way Trent washed my hair ! My hair never felt so clean , manageable and super cute!! I highly recommend this saloon! Stylists are always on time for my appointments. They are always accommodating and friendly. The prices aren't bad either. The shop is nicely decorated as well. Being from another town made it difficult to find a place to maintain my son's and I locs. After research, this shop fanned put to be a great choice. You can book your appointments online

I recently moved to York and finding a Loctician was difficult until I came upon this hidden gem. It's a one stop shop for all your hair needs .Prior to stumbling upon this establishment my locs hadn't been done in 3 months. Jodie, Loctician, is a miracle worker. She is extremely talented and knowledgeable. She hooked a sista up. I'll definitely be back.

I went to Friends Salon for microblading and brow shading. This is a beautiful Black-owned business with friendly staff and management. My brow tech was Sophia. It was immediately clear that she is passionate about her job and takes pride in making clients look and feel beautiful. She was very thorough and explained every step along the way. She is also an incredible and dynamic person inside and out. I feel blessed to have met her and I'm excited to return to Friends Salon in the future. Also by the way, my brows look amazing and natural. I don't have to draw them on anymore and they're healing well. My teenage daughter says "my makeup looks pretty" so that's how I know they must be good!
