Freyja is tucked in a sweet location in Historic Folsom. Rain is absolutely wonderful and her overall energy is contagious. She will never let you leave her salon looking anything less than fabulous. The most impressive thing about her is, she understands hair like no other. She knew exactly what my hair did and needed the moment I sat in her chair. She was able to get the exact shade of blonde I needed to blend in my grays. She is honest and has an impeccable eye for what works for you specifically.

No exaggeration, Rain has been the best hair stylist I have ever had. From the very first appointment she was so welcoming and really listened to my wants and needs and was able to make suggestions for the cut/color that not only world look best on me, but would fit my lifestyle and show my personality. As someone who used to change my hair color all the time and never felt satisfied, Rain suggested something totally different for me and I’m so glad I listened to her because it’s now my signature color and I’ve never felt more “myself”! Rain is not only a skilled colorist/stylist, but is a great listener and gives wonderful and personalized styling advice! Would 100% recommend her services.

I absolutely love getting my hair done at Freyja Studio Salon! I have very short hair, and Rain does an amazing job every single time. She has been cutting & styling my hair over 5 years now. Her attention to detail is impeccable, and she always nails the style I'm looking for. On top of that, she's incredibly personable, making every appointment such a pleasure. I can’t count the amount of times that I’ve walked out of my appointment with Rain looking devilishly handsome because of her amazing styling skills, but also feeling elevated and motivated to take on the world because of the deep meaningful conversation shared between us. She’s an amazing, spiritual, beautiful human being on the inside and outside. Multiple times have I brought in a picture of what I want my hair to look exactly like and every time without fail she’s able to pull it off. I don’t trust anybody else with my hair anymore.

I found Rain six years ago after my stylist of 15+ years moved out of state. Obviously I really liked my former stylist but now when I see pictures of myself from that time I am struck by how much better I like the style Rain has given me. I’ve always kept my hair short so you would think there wouldn’t be much room for change, but not so! Rain was/is very talented at assessing all the elements and arriving at a great style for me. Not only do I leave my appointment with a great haircut I also leave feeling uplifted and cared for because Rain is a truly special person.

Rain is a very talented hairstylist. She has an artist’s eye …. Can advise what will look good with your features with your type of hair. And then she can make it happen no matter the challenge. I wear my hair, short and short haircuts need to be precisely right or it’s obvious they’re not. She has the skill set and takes the time to make it right, and adapt to changes as we go through life. Easily the most talented stylist I’ve ever had.

Rain is simply awesome. She knew exactly what to do to address my thinning hair issue and I’m so happy with my hair.
