I had the worse experience at the Harlingen Footy Rooty yesterday (Sunday Dec 15). The MT fell asleep while rubbing my shoulder. I felt like she just greased me up and she burned my back with a hot towel, no warning even. It was a waste of money for certain. Never again.

This place was a dump, and it smelled like mildew.. I went in for a massage and filled out a questionnaire of where and what was bothering me so the person that would be massaging me would know my problem, but when I was sent to the back the lady didn't do any of the things I had pointed out and on top of me telling the front desk that the person did not do a good job she told me that she would put someone else to make things better but that I would have to pay another 35$ for another 30 minutes and I asked why and she said that's what we charge I was extremely upset and paid 75$ for the trash that they gave me and let them know that I would be letting people know about the dirt they offered for a high price...

Returned from a vacation and did a lot of walking, my feet were killing me, I was in need of foot massage walked in and they had something available same day. I loved it! Look forward to my next visit

It's a good place but overpriced for my budget and especially since the time starts as soon as you WALK in the room. Wow! Yeah, nope, it should start when the massage starts. JS. The few times I've been there, I always feel cheated.

Amazinggggggggg service ! I loved the deep tissue 1 hour massage best thing ever especially if you have constant pain , it sure does fix the pain, the! The receptionist Alex was super sweet , would definitely recommend

Everything seemed great talking with receptionist setting up the appointment. But the came the service Paid for eastern but recieved swedish. Asked to address the lumbar region, the feet and the hamstrings well they recieved little attention... As a fellow therapist I thought this wouldn't be an issue addressing my concerns. They said language barrier . I came here because I was way over do for treatment considering I just spent the last year home caring my wife that just passed. I am tensed and stressed but now had time to take care of me. I was wrong still have tension. I bought a membership that I'm never going to use.

I chose Robert out of all the therapists I've tried here. (If you know reiki, he's got a naturally strong chi.) i have chronic probpems from multiple injuries. Robert's intuition on the pressure levels was great. And he listens. So i was able to give directions easily for the therapy needed as he began to unlock various energy centers. Pretty sure i'd met him back when he first began working here b4 i moved off to Austin. He made a good impression back then. So after trying another nice place in town, i decided to come back to Footy Rooty. After the 2nd massage i decided to get the VIP Membership to save money. (Your membership goes to a charity which is good karma.) I had good enough massages from a couple of ladies to be pseudo-satisfied-enough to keep giving them a try. There are prettier environments, but the front desk here is on point, and the autotexts w reminders work well, so I'm puro chillin and thankful for this affordable care option. They tend to change your appointment without asking you and when you tell them you can't make at that time because you already made an appointment at a certain time. They mark you as a no show. And keep telling you, You no show, but the no show came with you telling them cancel because you changed the time at last minute.

Been here 3 times with my husband. Swedish massages here are awesome! Staff here are very friendly and professional. I wish I could make this a weekly thing!*** (For the people that are saying they were sore after their massage: it's up to each of us to communicate with our massage therapist and let him/her know when too much pressure is being used...and vice versa. There's no reason for a person to leave this place feeling sore and/or bruised.)

I called in and they answered the phone right away. They couldn't do a walk-in but they immediately found time available same day. Therapist was very attentive to customer needs throughout appointment, overall communication was great. No long wait times here. I highly recommend this business!
