If you haven't dined at the Fortezza, you are missing a great joy. The service, dinner selections prepared by Chef Mike, were some of the best, we've had in a long time. Our waitress, Mika, was above and beyond service. She provided a very good description of the dinner selections, and what type of beverage that would go best with that food. We really couldn't ask for a more personal interaction. Chef Mike, who prepared out dinner, is really a step above. I asked if he had a Michelin Star, for he really deserves one. Last is Mack, who took care of our last request for cheese cake to go. We were so overwhelmed with the entire evening, we almost forgot the desert. I really can't say enough good things about these three individuals, that you should go yourself and experience it. It's well worth it. Thank you so much to Mika, Mike and Mack. God Bless.

Absolutely amazing experience!!! Decided to get out of the house for an overnight with the wife, saw the Flying Horse had rooms available. Reserved a Deluxe King ($288). The resort was easy to find. Everything looked very new. Check in was easy and the staff were super friendly. The room....holy cow! Beautifully styled, massive, and well appointed. Amazing view of the mountains made it even better. Loved the layout of the room. We went out to dinner and came back a few hours later. A corporate party was just winding down in the banquet room. Saddled up to the bar and people watched for a bit. Our bartender Randolph was awesome! We will definitely be back. Can't wait to stay again in the summer!

Disappointing evening at one of our favorite places. The limited menu was depleted further. We took my visiting family for a special dinner which my forgiving 97 year old mother described as “adequate.” It was still very expensive though.

Enjoyed our stay at this property. Visited a friend who lived in this development, so the location was great for that. Also had easy access to town and neighboring areas, not too far from shopping etc. Booked a suite, it was very spacious and had a nice view of the course (which I'd like to come back to play). Dined once at the restaurant in the lodge, had a good burger and their squash soup was amazing. Would stay again.

I truly enjoyed this resort! I booked for my family of 8 and we all had a great time! Kaylee at check-in was amazing! Kaylee and Amber answered all of my questions before and during our stay! Definitely recommend!!!

We had a nice stay - rooms were comfortable and very big in size. There was quite a bit of dust though. The athletic club was awesome, great workout facility and basketball/pickle ball indoors. I was disappointed that the staff didn’t provide accurate info prior to arrival. I called the Sunday before our Monday check in (tried calling a a few other times but hard to get someone to answer). I asked about laundry and they quoted a price only to find out when there that they don’t offer laundry. I also asked the athletic club about reserving the indoor court and was told there was plenty available and to do so when on site. When we got there it was all booked up and the guy at the desk wasn’t very helpful. The location was convenient to get to downtown and different sites and good food options around.

This place is so nice! My family and I stayed here the week of thanksgiving and loved it! Our room was very nice and big. We had two queen beds and a balcony room. We had a wonderful view of the golf course. The beds are really comfortable and the bathroom was so nice. There is a very big beautiful walk in shower. The lobby area is very beautiful and has its own bar area. They had a brunch thanksgiving day we ate at. The food was buffet style. Our server was really nice. My only gripe about the brunch was the price. For three of us it was over $300. My wife went to the spa and said she loved it. They have a gym, basketball courts and pools. There was also an indoor pool. Lots of tennis and pickle ball courts as well. Overall this place is super nice and I loved our stay here. Now here come my two small complaints. Our balcony did not have a light and there is a metal pipe coming out of the wall outside the balcony and if snow is melting it drips and hits that pipe and you can hear it even with the door shut. Those are two very small complaints that would not change my overall opinion of the resort at all. Hopefully anyone else that stays here loves it as much as we did.

We spent ten days here last summer. Everything was excellent. I hope you will recognize Hayli. She was very attentive to my family and has excellent customer service skills. My only issue was the the access card to my room kept deactivating and I had to go back to the front desk to get it fixed. Other than that this is a great place to stay if you're visiting the Colorado Springs area.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Flying Horse and will be back again. Very quiet. Very clean. If you are a clean freak as I, you will feel very comfortable here. That’s the most important part of any stay for me and I was relieved to see how clean the facility is. Also the club pool was awesome and clean. My children had a blast!

We stayed here for an AFA Football game. The room was clean and nice. Restaurant is a little slow for breakfast if you order from menu. But the property is beautiful.

Me and my wife checked in to an executive suite the night of our wedding. The reception was friendly, the room and facilities were clean, everything seemed to be very well put together. Unfortunately, the HVAC was sluggish to non-functioning - fine at night, we like it cool. When we woke up, the HVAC still hadn’t managed to bring the room up to a reasonable temperature. We checked out early due to being miserably cold. The reception desk and manager were indifferent to our situation and offered shoulder shrugs and minimal consideration. I am appalled at the apathy here. We will never consider this place to stay again, and will offer this review to the nearby wedding venue to hopefully steer future couples away from the Flying Horse Lodge.

The staff is incredible and always happy to help with what we needed. We have been here three times in one calendar year and we continue to be impressed by the high level service we continue to receive.

This place is amazing! We arrived here the day after sleeping in a literal cave (off grid), which was awesome but Flying Horse Resort is incredible! All the amenities are great. The gym is a legit gym with provided classes and trainers if needed. There is also CrossFit equipment and three badass multi movement racks! Plenty of dumbbells too. Get a smoothie after the workout at the cafe below the gym. A slight negative, we got in late and just wanted some room service. No one answered so I had to go in person to order, but the food was incredible!!! So it was worth the wait. We also had incredible massages at the spa and my wife had a lash tint and a facial. Pikes Peak is visible and it's in a great location for The Gardens of the Gods and shopping. The place is seriously nice!!!

Great experience with a caveat. First off- it was beautiful!!! When we got here, the two women at the front desk were warm and friendly with great recommendations. The breakfast restaurant service was phenomenal! The facilities were clean. The rooms were big and everything was spotless! Gym was wonderful. Can’t say enough great things about the facility and people. The two areas that need improvement- (1). Room cleaning service. Our room wasn’t cleaned except for a change in sheets. Other than that- nothing was done. (2). Check out- we got called at 11:59 informing us it’s time to leave. I asked for 30 min more and was called immediately after it was time. I mentioned it to the receptionist at checkout and she was really annoyed and clearly lacked the understanding of just being polite. I travel a LOT and wasn’t expecting her lack of professionalism. So excellent place, gorgeous facilities, welcoming staff and I HIGHLY recommend. Those two incidences that I mentioned are annoying outliers but all in all incredible stay.

The WiFi doesn’t work well in the rooms and most of the facilities. If you need internet or plan to work online, don’t go to this hotel.
