Had a 9 AM appointment and stylist was still not there at 9:10 AM. Overheard the receptionist say she was very late recently before today. When I asked when another stylist would be available, I was informed that I would be on the list after the walk-in, and when I reminded him that that was not fair, he agreed and said he would put me ahead. Obviously, not well run. I have a very busy schedule and when you wake up early on a Sunday and expect that making a reservation means something, it is extremely disappointing to see this lack of professionalism. Unacceptable. Two clients lost. Wife and I will not return.

Stylist experience is great. Front desk management is poor. Why have a reservation system when time commitments are not routinely honored and without any apology? Whereas, you loose your reservation if more than 4 minutes late. Even had one experience where I preemptively called to confirm that I would be on time because of a running event in the area in the morning only to be advised that the prior appointment (1st of the day) was running late and that he was going to bump me. He got in the chair 5 minutes before my appointment. I was there on time. Unreal

My barber of 30 years closes early now so I went looking for a new one. Found Floyd's in Columbia and got a great bread and hair trim from Parker. A good guy who is good at small talk and gave me some great tips. I think this will be my new place, very good experience.

Got a cut here the other day about a 2 months ago or so. The dude who cut me was completely incompetent. I showed him a picture of a normal fade and a faux hawk that Wasent even a faux hawk it was just a little longer on top..idk what was wrong with him or if he was distracted but the guy started going ahead and cutting my hair like a MOHAWK. I was so confused and when I expressed confusion he immediately started placing blame on me saying that's not what I showed him. I specifically said I didn't want that. After the cut he seemed disgruntled and walked up to the register to whisper something in the cashier's ear. I paid and left but will never be retuning. Long story short. He really messed me up, I went and got my cut fixed at Royal barbershop soon after. They did me right over there. Also the price is WAY overcharged. Royals only charged me 20. Floyd's is double the price. I was genuinely shocked. Ik Floyd's is a bit over the standard cut but royal really was a pleasant surprise. Ithe only reason Im mentioning royal so much is because I have difficult hair to cut but they were patient and gentle.floyds was rough, impatient, and gaslighty. Def not worth it. If it works for you that's great. Not for me tho.

Vanessa is always so kind and conversational when doing my hair. She takes the time to listen to me and what style I’m looking for and she makes it happen. I’ve been going to Floyd’s for over 5 years now, and I couldn’t recommend it enough!

I had the pleasure of working with Parker. He is extremely talented and skilled at what he does and he’s very personable which makes the visit even more enjoyable. They have a great team and staff there at Floyd’s. I highly recommend it to anyone who’s considering a visit.

Shampoo plus shave with hot shave cream plus a fantastic stylist in Tricia! Great vibe in the shop with music just loud enough to create atmosphere and allow for private conversations with the stylists. I am hoping my hair grows faster so I can return sooner.

That 1 lady who messed up my sons hair cut and stepped to my face while my son was in my hand because you was tired and didn't want to work anymore. I hope you got fired! You don't even know how to cut. You messed my sons head up. The shop is so cool! The staff was nice and the decorations were awesome. All service are supposed to include hot towel service. I like that. Clean and smells good. Love the wallart. Nice place.

Very clean, friendly faces, great skills, I’m very impressed by my haircut Update: 5th or sixth time here. They messed up my appointment. First said there will be 20 minutes delay which I said okay then it turned out to be 45 minutes delay. The front desk person didn’t use any apologetic words or even tone. I’m disappointed!

About as good as Sports Clips, or any other men's haircut chain in the area. For a higher price. Cutting men's hair should not be rocket science. Especially if you are just asking for a basic fade-style cut. The stylist seemed bored with her job, did not listen to instructions, didn't really understand. I think these stores would be well served by displaying those posters with different men's hair styles. But no, you have to explain it, hope for the best. Don't fall for the fancy decor, loud music blaring. Save your money.

The place was so welcoming and friendly. The employees were alot of fun. Vanessa was fabulous. She made me feel so comfortable and really helped to fix a bad haircut that I had somewhere else. I will definitely be back.

We site clearly says walk-ins excepted ...they should remove that I walked in and was told I needed an appointment.
