I had been asking around for a great hair stylist and Dan was recommended over and over. I made the appointment and I have to say, it was the BEST choice I ever made for my hair. His work is phenomenal, personality is unbeatable, you will 110% be satisfied with your hair results. He has made me feel so confident in myself and that is truly priceless.

Do not buy hair extensions from this salon. I purchased my first and last set of Femme extensions and was extremely disappointed. They were extremely low quality and within a month, I had a rats nest forming on my head. Having had extensions prior, I knew how to take care of them properly. I used good products daily, braided my hair every night and still was left with a matted mess, even after brushing through. When it was time for a new set, I decided to go back to Bellami, which was a night and day difference. The quality is top notch. I thought this would solve my problems, but I was sadly mistaken. Before my appointment for installation, I received a text from the front desk coordinator rudely questioning and pressuring me into disclosing whether I bought my extensions or my stylist did. My loyalty is to my stylist and not the salon. Thankfully, my stylist has left the salon and I am comfortable leaving a review.

I had my hair very long before going to Femme in Orland. I had gotten it cut with Dan before and really liked how he cut my hair. This time, I asked for shoulder length hair. That’s fine. He did that. But then, he started going in with some weird looking scissors and now I have all these weird, SHORT layers that I did not ask for. My hair looks so weird. I am so upset that he ruined my hair with the cut he did. It looks so horrible. I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star.

If you’re looking for a new hair salon to trust your hair with, this is your sign. I recently visited as a nervous first-timer. Needless to say, I had an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. Kudos to the receptionist for making the booking process smooth from the beginning. Special shout out to Dan, who really listened to what I wanted and delivered exactly that. He made me feel heard and understood all throughout, felt like I was talking to a friend! The atmosphere was relaxing, and the place was spotless and chic. They even offered snacks! I left feeling great about my new look and my experience here. Highly recommend — 5 stars isn’t enough!

I’ve been going to Dan for over 3 years to get my hair colored. He is so talented and I recommend him to everyone. And, as an an added bonus he is very welcoming along with the rest of the Femme staff. I also had the pleasure of Danielle shampooing me and blow dry, and she did an awesome job!

Marrisa has done such a beautiful job on my hair. I am a new mom and she knew exactly what to do to make me feel beautiful and give me a low maintenance look. The salon has a great vibe and friendly staff. You will not be disappointed.

OMG!!! the best customer service all the ladies are the sweetest people and so friendly you have to go to Danielle Triezenberg i was so nervous as it was my first time getting my hair dyed i got highlights and she was so accommodating to all my requests and made sure i was in love with it before i left this place is a must go to!!!

Femme recently did my wedding on 5/25/24 and I could not have been happier with each and every service. Hair and makeup lasted all day and night. The stylists were so friendly and on time. We had a total of 7 hair services and 6 makeup services and the cost was reasonable considering the amount of services, stylists/artists, and travel on top of it. I didn't do a trial and everything turned out exactly how I wanted it! SO happy Femme was able to do my wedding. These girls made my dream wedding looks come true! Thanks Meg, Emily, Marissa, and Bianca for EVERYTHING!! Each of you were amazing!

Hello! I’ve been using Femme Beauty Lounge in both Orland Park & Tinley locations for years. I absolutely love their work. They have done countless hair extensions, color, cuts, and make up services for me & my family. I have also used them for 4 weddings. (Hair make up). I highly recommend meg g, maddie, maddy r, catie h, & Marissa. I always leave there happy! The ladies do an excellent job listening to what I am asking for. I usually go a full 12 weeks in between appts & they do my color so the grow out does not look bad while I am waiting for my next appt. I never have an issue with extensions slipping, coming undone, etc. give them a try!!! I also bring my kids here for their kids cuts too. They always offer fun little services for the little girls too, such as tinsel, color, etc. highly recommend !!!!!

I have visited a couple of times now and definitely would suggest this salon to others. From my initial phone call looking for a new stylist to all my services nothing but perfection. The receptionist took time to feel me out and catch my vibe to place me with the perfect stylist. I knew within 5 minutes of sitting in Gabby’s chair that she was my girl… I look in the mirror daily and literally think to myself, I have such pretty hair! Thank you guys for doing what you do and Gabby thank you for giving me my pretty hair…I can’t wait to see you again in 6 weeks!

I would highly recommend Femme Beauty to any person looking to up their hair game. They are absolutely the best in the business. The staff members are friendly and kind, plus they go above and beyond to help each client meet and exceed their hair goals. I have always struggled with frizzy and fuzzy hair. I didn’t want to change anything but that. I was heard and understood. They did the most beautiful job helping me achieve the look I was wanting. Fun salon and just a great vibe overall. Can’t wait to go back!

Maddy has been doing my hair for YEARS and I refuse to go to anyone/anywhere else. I always get so many compliments on my hair and always send them her way!!!!!! Hands down recommend, and not to mention the owner is so nice.

Marrisa is an extension magician!!! After having a blunt bob for so long… Marrisa was able to give me my dream color and length!! She is super knowledgeable and will tell you everything that she is doing to make you feel comfortable. If you are looking to get any color service or extension service, book with Marrisa!!

Take this as your sign to not trust this establishment and so don’t receive the same treatment we did… I have been going to femme for 4+ years and have sent my mother, grandmother, friends, and family here as well. Never would I think a situation like this would happen where I would have to write a negative review like this, but the treatment my mother received from Christine the booking coordinator was truly upsetting. After taking off work AND having her appointment planned for 3 months…had her appointment cancelled over text 30 minutes before she was scheduled because she was “no longer a good candidate” for a type of extension she was set to try out (per the request of her stylist). Mind you, their cancellation policy is very strict which we have always followed for many years makes this pretty contradicting. Her stylists are Maddie and Meg the owner and this type of communication is inappropriate and completely unprofessional. We will not be coming back.

The extension hair quality I received from Femme was absolutely god awful. A month after getting a brand new set of extensions, I called to tell them that I received a set of horrible quality hair and they did nothing to resolve the issue. From someone who has had extensions in the past, I take excellent care of them and these knotted up so bad I was walking around with a bird nest on my head. I knew it was the hair extensions and not the installation because where the weft was attached, my actual hair was in good condition. I told them they need to contact their vendor to resolve this hair quality issue and the woman I spoke on the phone with (Christine) was not concerned if their customers received bad quality hair and kept saying my stylist signed the hair out. I wasn’t looking for a refund, I was concerned for their future clients but I guess they don’t care to maintain high quality products in their salon. I do not recommend purchasing hair extensions from this salon or any Femme location since it’s their brand of hair extensions that is such bad quality.

Very disappointed with my last visit here. This salon claims to be a high end salon but there are kids running all over the place and leaving a trail of crumbs everywhere. The last thing you want while getting your hair done is to feel like you are at a daycare. Usually when I arrive for my appointments Im greeted by an empty desk and have to sit in the front and wait which is contradicting because they hold an extremely strict late and cancelation policy. The bathrooms are usually a mess and I refuse to use them. I was berated by a stylist over the fact that my sister in law did not return for her services… who didn’t want to come back because of what I just explained. Ive witnessed some stylists being very caddy and unprofessional. I’ve been coming to this salon for three years but since my stylist recently left I feel more comfortable expressing my opinions and I will not be returning. Writing this review as a reflection of this salon.

absolutely love the salon, have been to both the Tinley and Orland Park location and everyone is super nice and the place is adorable. I’ve been going to Marrisa for about a year now and she’s made my hair color exactly what I’ve asked for and gave me a vision for ideas I didn’t even think about.
