I’ve been going to Will (Billy) at Faust in Capitola for a couple years now and have been very happy with my hair every time. I’m dark blonde and get blonde highlights and he does a fantastic job of making them look natural and they even look good when they grow out! A stylist who does great blondes is hard to find and Will is great!

Phil knows what he is doing! I have been cooking in the heat and humidity and thought I had to chop off all the length. I can't wear pony tails because they give me a headache. I knew thinning shears would make my wavy hair frizz.. but he said let's just debulk ... I was worried when I saw all the hair hit the floor... but I just styled my hair and I love it! ❤️ He found layers and debulking that let me keep the length and I'm no longer cooking!!! Thanks Phil 😄 💁🏼‍♀️💇🏼‍♀️🧜🏼‍♀️

Faust is my new favorite local salon and Phil is my hero!! He helped color correct and added gorgeous highlights after I decided to take my hair color into my own hands (oops!) He’s an incredibly talented stylist/colorist and I imagine all the stylists there are equally talented — As others have mentioned, the atmosphere is really positive, lovely and relaxing. What’s more, Scott and Phil are genuinely caring humans. I cannot recommend this business enough.

I have visited dozens of salons in my lifetime, (i even used to work in one!) and this is the most joyful salon i have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Phil, Scott, Billy, and Logan are not only talented professionals but such a breath of fresh air to be around. I always feel better when i leave, and not just because my hair looks amazing; but because it’s source of positivity. Like, “hair church” 😁 Also, it’s worth noting that i was born VERY problematic hair and it’s not easy to manage especially because i need frequent color and extensions. Phil is the champion of my hair challenges!

I’ve seen Jennifer Trotter for the past year and she’s fantastic! She’s very skilled with color, highlights and I’m very happy with the haircuts I’ve had also. She’s also just a really sweet person. Highly recommend!

Was not a good experience. Phil did not cut my hair the way we discussed. He thinned it out and now it looks stringing and frizzy. Exactly what I don’t want. One of the worst hair cuts ever!! I hate looking at it 😏

Will is an incredible hairstylist and a very welcoming person. I have medium length hair which is difficult to cut, but Will knew exactly what I wanted and did an excellent job. I highly recommend Will for hairstyling and haircuts.

I've only gone once but I had a great experience. Staff was welcoming and did a great job. My hair grew out so nice! First time I got a blowout done as well :) highly recommend this place!!

The first time I went, they did a great job. I made an appointment to return on a Sunday at 2. I received a phone call at 10 minutes after 1 asking if I could come in at 1 instead (that would require me to travel back in time). I pointed out the fact that was impossible and the stylist asked if I could come in later. She rescheduled me for 6 PM. I showed up for my appointment and the mall had been closed for an hour. So she deliberately rescheduled me for a time where they were closed. So I went to Great Clips the following week and paid less than half the price...

This is my favorite salon by far. I have never liked my hair so well! The cut works not only just after I leave but as it grows as well. That is the test of a gifted stylist. GO NOW to this salon, you will be so happy you did!

Fabulous Faust! I am deliriously happy with my high/lowlights and keratin treatment carried out by Scott and Phil respectively (2 different appointments). I highly recommend their artistry, professionalism and thoroughly enjoyed our fun banter of shared favorite locales in NOLA. All in all a terrific experience with beautiful results....

Faust Salon is elegant and friendly. The location, close to Target in the Capitola 41st Ave. mall, is so convenient for parking & even some shopping after you get your beauty treatment. Rebecca Sutton is the BEST stylist. A genius with hair color and she gives excellent cuts. You won't regret a visit to Faust.
