I got my massage with Tiarra and it was so good! I was dealing with a lot of tension and upper back pain and so that was what we focused on and I was feeling lighter and so relaxed after. The first massage I actually fell asleep in! Will definitely be going back to her :)

I have mixed feelings. I called to schedule an appointment for a skin consultation and subsequent facial (I didn't know which specific facial yet because I wanted to see what was recommended after the consult). The receptionist I spoke with the day before mentioned that they had a 12:45 pm slot available, which I chose. I received a confirmation email for 12:45, and filled out the required form asking about current skin issues and other information (I can tell that nobody read the form unfortunately). On the day of, I called around 12:25 to inform them that I would be no more than 5 minutes for my 12:45 appt, and the spa manager said "ooo, your appointment is actually at 12:30". I stated that that was incorrect, and I called the day before to have it scheduled for 12:45. She kept saying that the system shows your appt is at 12:30 but just told me to come and that it's alright. I arrived at 12:50 and was greeted warmly by the manager. Cher greeted me, but before starting my facial, I informed her that I called to schedule a skin consultation and subsequent facial. She was confused and mentioned that she only has an hour due to a massage she has at 2. I sensed some irritation from her initially, which I did not like, but she pulled it together. I had to reiterate that when I called to schedule the appt, I wanted the consultation and facial, and was booked for 12:45 with an email to prove it. They still, however, made me feel like it was my fault for having the time mixed up, when in fact it was an issue with their scheduling system. In the email, I noticed that the receptionist scheduled me for a basic Farashe facial, but I didn't get the original facial since Cher recommended 2 other services that were more expensive. She informed me of the cost beforehand though and it turned out well. While paying, Cher mentioned that I could tip her if I wanted and most clients tip 20% (I normally tip for services, but I didn't like being hovered or feeling as though I HAD to tip and tip that specific percentage). My facial was done around 3 pm. Cher mentioned that the client she was originally going to see at 2 pm got her days mixed up, so she was able to do my facial for the full length of time. I honestly don't think that the client got her days mixed up, but that Farashe messed up their scheduling. In my head, I thought that it was strange that they would rather blame clients for scheduling mix ups than to take accountability for those scheduling errors. They never apologized for the scheduling mishap. I had to state numerous times that their receptionist scheduled me for 12:45 not 12:30. As a first time client, that rubbed me the wrong way. Yes, Cher did a nice job with my facial, but I didn't like the other issues that arose. For that, I won't be returning.

I received a full body hot stone massage from Cher and I tell you what… That wasn’t a massage… That was a whole life experience! I’ve never had a better massage in my life! Not only did she dig deep into the tissue, but her flow was smooth and relaxing and she literally made my body melt. I’m so thankful for her expertise and recommend her to anyone! Thank you Cher for your amazing work!

This is one of my favorite spa places in the DMV area. Friendly staff, professional services, clean facilities. I especially like how they offer skin treatments for from teen to anti-aging. The services here are on the pricy side compared to the smaller skincare shops, but quality is consistent and worth the value. Plenty parking spaces out front, convenient location, easy to find. They do book up fast, so plan ahead 😉 Highly recommended by @winedinenvacay

Tiarra is such a gifted massage therapist. She knows exactly where the problem spots and knots are and takes just the right approach to work them out, yet she is also very gentle at the same time. Truly a magical experience to get a massage by her. Thank you for doing what you do with so much dedication, care and intention! The front desk staff have been really friendly and pleasant to interact with also. This was my second time at Farashe and I’ll be back and will recommend Tiarra to others!

WOW as a licensed Esthetician since 2009 in the State of Maryland. Also, a long-time resident in Columbia, I am completely devastated by the treatment I received from the receptionist Catherine this morning. My best friend went online because I always wanted to visit this day spa but never got a chance because I’m super busy. He bought me a 200-dollar gift card to relax because I’ve been grieving my mother is currently on life support in Ashville N, I just recently found out. My 10-year-old Autistic son has been sick and was in the hospital. It’s been crazy, so he thought a spa day would help. Today, while at work I called to book an appointment for today for message and light therapy and had the rudest most unprofessional encounter with Catherine. Afterward, I inquired about speaking with a Manager and she wouldn’t even give me their name. She told me to call back tomorrow when a Manager is there and abruptly hung the phone up. I called back hoping to speak with someone else and she wouldn’t answer and sent me to voice mail. I wasn’t even able to book the 4:30 appointment for today that she said was available. This was a horrific experience to have!!!!!

Cher was great!!! She gets 5 stars. I've been going to her since I was in college. She has kept my skin in great shape.I received a hydrafacial on my latest visit. Awesome results!

Aesthetician was pretty quick with her facials. I come home and visit a friend who is also an aesthetician who said that extraction done on my nose for blackheads and white heads was not done entirely. There was a lot more that could've been extracted. Not happy with the service. I even stated that to the front desk lady. I would not recommend my aesthetician but my husband's aesthetician was great.

All staff was kind and welcoming the moment I walked in the door. Went in for a facial and Kiah was absolutely amazing. Listened to my concerns, guided me through the process to better suit my skin’s needs, and made informed suggestions for products. I booked a groupon appointment 2 months before the fact and they cancelled the week of because it's not policy to have groupon appointments on the weekends. I was extremely frustrated by this last minute cancellation by them when they had 2 months to make that cancellation and nowhere on their groupon does it say that they do not accept Groupon appointments on the weekends. So I finally got around to calling them and they set me up with an appointment. And then the day before they asked me to confirm a different appointment time than what was scheduled. But after I corrected them, they said oh yeah, you're right. I'm at the appointment, they take down my Groupon code, I go for my IR therapy, which is very relaxing. You can see my video I took of the IR therapy room. It's nice that you do have an individual room, and they bring you water at the beginning that you can have at your discretion. The facial I had was also very relaxing. It was a little awkward to walk outside basically in the parking lot to get there, but they are expanding, so good for them. The facial was very lovely. The woman giving me my facial was very good at telling me exactly what she was doing and when. Then I got to checkout and they tried to charge me the full price for the session and I asked what about my Groupon and then it took her like 10 minutes to figure out how to get it to work. I am really frustrated with the administrative services here. Can you really not get my appointment time or the amount that I owe for services correct? And cancelling my appointment week of? Because of policy? Did you not have the same policy when I signed up for my appointment? While the service itself was lovely and my face is super smooth now, I cannot recommend anyone go to this spa due to their administrative failings.

I got services here last week before my college graduation and the ladies here were very kind. Front desk staff professional and friendly. I had the 60min farashe massage. Tiara put me to sleep, it was so good I was snoring! Kiah did my facial and she was very thorough. Believe the hype ladies… my face was glowing for about 3days and I got so many compliments. I will definitely be back.

I loved the atmosphere of the spa. The waiting room was relaxing and the fountain both prepared me for relaxation. Tiara, my masseuse was excellent! She was authentic and kind with good energy; which made me feel comfortable during my message. Her pressure was just right and I left feeling renewed.

I surprised my mom with a massage for the both of us for our birthday week. I had Elena, who was amazing and professional. She helped me with the tension in my shoulders and legs. My mom had Cher, whom she really liked and was amazing as well. Very knowledgeable! We did the Farashe Signature Massage for 60 minutes. The front desk staff were friendly as well. Overall, 5/5 stars! Will definitely come back.

I treated myself for the first time for my birthday back in January and after spending $265 for the service the boss ask for a tip what if that was everything I could afford ?and it was something that I saved up for it's rude to ask your customer for a tip and then tell your customer that your ladies work really hard ,I work hard for my money as well and I save that for my birthday so I can treat myself so demanding a tip is a complete turn off never again will spend my money here 69

I went in there feeling like I got hit by a bus and I left feeling resurrected! I literally teared up with the front desk and Gil, my massage therapist, because I was amazed at the results. It is the next day, and I still feel amazing, all my aches and pains are gone! Literally the most incredible experience! I am just so grateful I found you guys and looking forward to my next session!

My husband and I have been to Farashe Spa twice! During my first visit, I got the MOXI treatment and during the second visit with my husband we got the Botox treatment. Both times, Ifedayo was the practitioner who rendered these services. I must confess, she is fantastic at what she does, and it is evident that she is very knowledgeable and enjoys what she does. My husband and I couldn't be happier with the results of the entire experience, which was smooth and professional from start to finish. Ifedayo was incredibly welcoming and informative. During both visits, she took the time to explain the procedure, its benefits, and any potential side effects. She answered all of my questions, which put my mind at ease. The Moxi treatment was virtually painless for me as I opted out of using the numbing cream, although I have a higher pain threshold than most people. I started seeing the results within 3-4 days after my treatment. I can't recommend this day spa enough. Everything Ifedayo explained about what to expect after treatment was spot on. There were no surprises! Ifedayo even recommended some skin routine to follow to maximize the result of my Moxi treatment. The Botox injection itself was little painful but still tolerable. Ifedayo was highly skilled and made sure my husband and I was comfortable throughout the process. The results were exactly what we had hoped for – my fine lines noticeably softened giving me us a youthful appearance. The effects of the Botox treatment became apparent within a few days, and we are so thrilled with how natural and subtle the results are. Lastly, the facility was impeccably clean, and they offer variety of services which are top-notch! I can't recommend Ifedayo and Farashe spa enough as they should be undoubtedly everyone’s go to in the DMV area!

Set an an appointment for my wife and her friend and paid both in full well over a week in advance. Even went through confirmation a couple days beforehand and filled out all paperwork required. Come day of and they said a therapist is 20 min late. Fine no big deal. Then they waited a total of at least 40 min after said scheduled appointment to be even seen by anyone. They were just hanging out in the lobby. What's the point of confirmation if they aren't going to have staff available? What was supposed to be an easy relaxing gift for my wife, turns out to be very stress inducing. Hopefully the massage is worth it.

Tiarra was EXCELLENT! She gets five stars, absolutely book with her. The front desk staff woman was a different story and incredibly rude. I was misunderstanding her explanation of tipping on a gift card and she was so snippy with me and not helpful at all. I was shocked. Way to undo an hour and half of relaxation on the way out the door.
