Eve did a fantastic job on my highlights and lowlights recently and I really appreciate her extra effort to detail. Amber is also awesome. This location closes earlier than most of the locations so it's tough for me to get there during the week. Weekends are for my fun time and not errands or hair appts.Lol Thanks ladies. ❤️❤️

Love this place! Has been managed well for many years. Low turnover of staff in a business normally high but not here. Same employees. Always appropriate music and always smiling happy employees. Thank you Ester.

The experience took less than 1/2 hour. I wanted an all over trim - couple snips and Ester was done. Couple passes with a blow dryer and she called it a day. The waxing was done without consultation. Didn’t ask what product I used and when I had a terrible reaction, offered aloe but no explanation. Very unprofessional. Go elsewhere.

I just walked out of Fantastic Sam’s and I was very impressed with Eve. I only got a haircut which came with a shampoo wash. I came home and put on my flat iron and now I see how well Eve framed my face. She is fantastic! Thank you Eve I’ll be back I hope you have the same hours I have so I can see you again. I absolutely love the cut.

Went in and asked for one thing: "please get my hair out of my eyes". Apparently that must have been some great offense, because no matter how many times I said, "You can take another inch, it's fine, I want it short," I got resistance. I ended up just going home and cutting it shorter (and cuter, to be honest) myself. Definitely don't go if you're a woman who likes short hair.

All I can add, Excellent, Outstanding, Primo salon. Should be titled Fantastic Ms. Doris salon. Have been in search for a salon and have ended my journey. Exceeded my expectations.

Came here for a haircut and after paying, entering a tip and completing the transaction, the salon adjusted the amount and over charged me double on my bank statement. When I called the salon and spoke with the owner Doris, she said that’s not her business and that doing hair was her business. Had to call her a couple times to even get her to agree to look into the overcharge. Still no call back or follow up from her. All I got was a trim- they didn’t even wash my hair or anything extra. There was definitely something going on because multiple times she said on the invoice they only charged me this amount but kept verbally changing that number… when I have the receipt with the correct amount supposed to be billed. Then she continued to blame my bank but then finally made an excuse that they got a new payment system and machines. Doesn’t make sense to us how this business owner has no other oversights other than hair in what’s going on with her salon that she works in.

I have been going here for the past 15 years or more. I fly back to St. Pete once a month and always stop in for a haircut. Staff always do a nice job on my hair, and it's affordable.

Let's talk about this place for a minute. I have been here on many occasions and only had my haircut once here. I am rarely able to schedule getting my hair cut because of my busy and hectic schedule. I have tried to go in on several occasions and almost every single time they tell me they cannot fit me in and don't even offer to schedule me for another day half the time. Again, this is fantastic Sam's, not some boujie appointment-only place. I have been getting my haircut at different Fantastic Sam's for years without appointments. My hair takes 10-15 minutes to cut and I tip 100% of the bill every time, so its not a tall order or big inconvenience to fit me in; just ask the blonde lady who works here who cut my hair once... seems to be the only person who has a good sense of business here because she fit me in on the fly... that one time. Whoever manages this place has the furthest thing from an "owners mindset." Management has exchanged what would have been a consistent, good-tipping customer, that just moved to the area and would have sent you more customers, for a bad review. Good stuff. "Please, take my money!" "Nah, we are good..."

Please see Amber for any cuts and colors! I’ve seen Amber a few times now as I’m newer to St Pete && I am in love with how she handles my hair! Today she got me to a beautiful copper color from brunette and she also does lovely cuts on me as well as does my bangs exactly how I like them. I will continue seeing Amber for her kindness and artistry!

Terrible if you’re an African American please don’t even attempt to go there I was just getting my hair washed blow, flat iron the stylist was gay so I assumed he knows his stuff but baby my hair was horrible hot mess when he was finished I’m very disappointed I was trying be polite enough on top of that he charged $55 bucks for having my hair looking like I was just in a fist fight with him never ever again stinking to my roots.
