My daughter's birthday was coming up and we needed some last minute help fixing her hair as she "trimmed" it herself and left it all uneven. We came in as walk-ins and "EV" attended my daughter and did an amazing job! "EV" was super sweet and professional. We loved the way it all came out!

I reached out to set up an appointment. Richard was so accommodating and set me up with Evelyn. She was amazing! Very patient with my questions and helped to make my color and cut a great experience. I will be going back! The whole staff seemed super professional.

Been a long time customer of Fantastic Sam's but at different locations. I will say that this location and staff are the best. I wanted to try a new location and I'm glad that I did. This location has Fantastic Staff.

We got my daughter's hair done at a Fantastic Sam’s, they did not follow the cut/pic requested. Infact it was barely cut. We called the Van Buren location & spoke to Evelyn. Even though they’re different owners, Evelyn offered to fix her hair at no cost. My daughter was devistated, so we were so thankful. She was so sweet, personable, & great at what she does! She did exactly what we wanted! So not only did she do this correction for free but my daughter’s hair looks amazing! The “least” I can do is a review how awesome a job she did! Go to the Van Buren location! All the ladies were just as awesome too!

Got a haircut on 6/13. This was my first time coming here. After I left my sister pointed out a spot on the side of my head that the stylist cut too short. I went back and respectfully asked if they could take it shorter to fix the spot. I even said it quietly to not embarrass anyone. A different stylist did my hair (woman with Latinx accent) and I told her about the spot. She then got an attitude and loudly said “I don’t know if you’re stressed or what but you’re balding” she then went to the other side of my head and said this side looked exactly the same. It did not. Not even close. The other side was properly done. She said “I guarantee you it wasn’t the clippers” it definitely was. It seemed like she was trying to gaslight me into making me think it was my fault which didn’t make sense because I was respectful and was fine going shorter. I asked everyone in my house hold and they all agreed with me. It was a horrible experience.

Such great customer service. Not much waiting. Fatima did my hair cut and did such an amazing job with my cut. I loved it! Evelyn also did an amazing job with my daughter. Love love it!! Will definitely be coming back.

I had an amazing experience working with Irene. I wanted to cut about 5inches of my hair and Irene took the time and care to cut off my desired amount in a way that would best frame my face. I’m so happy with my salon experience. Thanks Irene!

We had a great experience with Elizabeth! She did my husband's perm and made it work! He had lose curls that we wanted to make tighter(coils) and she did that! I posted pics of day of and this is 3 days later after wash. Also the products the recommended for his hair are making it come alive! Thank you, we will be returning! 💯💯💯💗

Got my hair cut today and unfortunately don't know the name of the stylist but she did an amazing job! I haven't been happy with a hair cut in soooooo long. She shampooed, cut, blow dried and styled my hair. I'm definitely going back when I need another cut.

I went to get a Haircut after reading all the good reviews. I called and Edith was able to fit me in immediately. I loved how my hair came out. Best hairstylist Edith, she really listens to your needs and makes you feel so at ease and good about yourself. I showed her a picture of a hairstyle and she gave me exactly what I wanted. Best haircut I have gotten and I felt so good. I felt like I was talking to a good friend the whole time.😊 Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend Edith‼️

It’s honestly one of the best places I’ve gotten a haircut with consistent customer service.
