Fantastic Sams Cut & Color

I have been getting my hair cut here for several years. I normally like to go when they first open to avoid having to wait. When I went in today I was turned away. When I asked why she claimed someone scheduled an appointment first thing this morning a d tried to schedule me to come back later in the day. I have been a customer for 10+ years and have never been asked to make an appointment. The slogan on their door says "no appointment needed". I had a feeling she wasn't being truthful. I left and sat in the parking lot for 30 min since I was waiting on my wife to finish her appointment that was nearby. No customers came in. I am familiar with the employee since I have dealt with her in the past. Her name is Diane and if you read some of the other poor reviews her name seems to pop up a lot. I seriously doubt anyone was personally making appointments requesting her to cut their hair. I went back in after 30 min to confront her and she claims wasn't sure what happened to her appointment and they were a no show. Even if there was a real appointment or not, I was in early enough that she could have spent 10min to cut my hair before the supposed appointment. I think she was more interested in eating her breakfast and not interested in taking care of customers. This is not my first bad experience with Diane but will be my last. Time to find a new barber!

After 5 hours, I have finally stopped crying enough to write this. Worst hair experience I have had in my life! I came in for a shoulder length simple bob haircut, with photos and all. Diana proceeded to layer my hair clear up the back of my head, and thinned it. Not only was it way beyond too short, I had to go to another hair stylist an hour later to even the back out that was all chopped up. I am beside myself with having to go through this and not being able to do anything about it, except wait years for it to grow out. Do NOT get your hair cut here with Diana.

No.. just no. Luckily my daughter liked her hair. I should have known better the. To get a cheep haircut. There was no love or effort in this cut. I could have done what she did. She literally took my daughter’s hair in a pony tail and cut 12 inches off. (P.s. missing a handful of it) normally, you wet it and start at the bottom in sections. She wet it after I watched her butcher my daughter’s hair and asked her to even it out. Doesn’t matter, I went home and evened out the choppy mess she made. You get what you pay for. My bad. I know better now. No I don’t need a refund, I don’t want a call back. Please, please , please, take some pride In your work. I’m not a cosmetologist, but if I wanted an uneven choppy haircut. I would have cut it myself. The lady was nice enough (I guess) No real hate on this place, just not the best experience .

Do not recommend my mom treated me with a hair cut and getting the underneath of my head shaved and washed the hairstylist rushed through it so she kept ripping out my still healing earrings most likely will be losing them because of that and forgot my mom and I wanted to get are eye brows waxed and washing my hair then charged my mom 40 or 50 dollars 10 out of 10 DO NOT recommend and will never come back. Update I did end up losing my piercing since she rip the hole more open that's 160 dollars down the drain

Worst hack job haircut I have ever seen in my life! The gentleman there should NOT BE ALLOWED to cut female hair. He was in a hurry because he had a male client there with color in his hair for God knows how long. He probably fried that guy's hair. He then took advantage of my developmentally disabled client and hacked through her hair in such a horrible way And then charged her $30 for the mess he made I would not recommend him. In fact, I would caution anyone before even thinking about going here. Danger! Danger!

Got my hair cut back in March and the lady assured she would make it look good as I was so nervous. I got home to style and it was soooo choppy and uneven… I went back and the owner fixed it. Fast forward to this last Saturday I took my son for a SIMPLE cut and it is awful. The line up around his ears looks like a mountain peak, his cut is choppy and horribly cut, sons hair was cut by owner.

The couple who works there are always nice and polite. She does my perm and cut for years and it's always comes out nice. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Ok haircut. Wanted a cut and blow dry but only one stylist working and she had an appointment coming in. No shampoo either. What’s the point of offering walk in’s if you can’t accommodate them?

This place is garbage. The owner says he's been cutting kids' hair for 18 years. If that is true, then I feel sorry for all the kids who have had to suffer through a haircut at this place. The owner has a terrible attitude and is rough with children. This is my son's 3rd haircut and the first time he has cried due to how the owner was yanking his head around. The worst part is they don't know how to cut hair. $18 for the terrible haircut seen in the pics. It's no wonder the place was empty when we went. To the owner who was blaming my son for crying. I ended up shaving my son's head at home to fix your mistake, and guess what? HE DIDN'T CRY!

Check your bank statement after coming here.. i received a trash cut which i left no tip for and got charged $30. Going to file a charge back with the bank but wouldnt have noticed unless i stumbled upon the charge.

Experience was absolutely amazing!! Very friendly, respectful, and welcoming service. Nestor gave me the look was going for times 10! It came out better than expected. If you want your hair done right, go to fantastic Sam’s!

I called at 5:15 and was told I could come in at 6:30. She took down my name and my phone #. I got there around 6:25 and there was no one in the store except one employee and she wasn't the one who took my call. I told her someone put me down for 6:30. She was confused, kept going on and on about she didn't know why the other girl would tell me 6:30. She kept flipping through the pages and says "No. I can't find you anywhere." And then still pretends to look and flip through the pages and puts her hand in the air like "i dont know what to tell you" There is literally not another soul in the place. 30 mins til closing... and I get this runaround? I even told her I just need a trim. She then gestured toward a chair, but she acted like it was such a burden. I turned around and walked out. She turned off the open sign too when i walked out lol. And what's up with the lady who was reading back my name and # over the phone?? Did she write it on her hand? Might have been a one-off, but get someone else to close that doesn't want to shut your store down 30 mins early. Side note, after reading reviews, maybe it's a good thing I didn't stay for her to butcher my hair!

I can't remember the lady's name but she cut my sons hair and sometimes he's not the easiest lol but she handled everything perfectly. All I know is she had a Pokémon shirt on! Lol but she's awesome.

I, always, only go to this location because Sara always knows exactly what I want! She's the best! She always seems to be there whenever I go in and, her attention to my specific needs and attention to detail is better than anywhere else I've ever been! I will always keep coming back to see Sara!

Root touch up gone wrong. 100 bucks later the hair cut was fine but I have 2 different hair colors it looks terrible. When I went to reach out to the manager he was very rude about it. Spend a little more money and go somewhere they'll get it right the first time ended up having to go to another salon so they could fix it.

Sara was just fantastic! Great job on my highlights they look so natural, like sun kissed hair. She was also great to talk to, a real people person. Cost was very reasonable. Just fyi fantastic Sam's are franchises so they don't all take fantastic Sam's gift cards. I got a $100 fantastic Sam's gift card for mother's day from my sister in law but was unable to use it at this location, bummer.

Worst highlights I’ve ever had and was charged 170.00 for that and a haircut. She used maybe a total of 10 foils and hair came out orange. Never again and will tell everybody how horrible this place is. Anna was nice but not good.
