Dennis is amazing! I don’t remember ever leaving a haircut feeling this good. He took the time to really listen to what I was looking for, what I liked about my hair, and what I didn’t, which made all the difference. As someone who’s really picky about haircuts, I was impressed by how he understood my needs and gave thoughtful, personalized tips on embracing my new postpartum curls. I’m thrilled to have found someone I can trust and am confident this will be my go-to place for all my hair needs moving forward. Thank you for a fantastic experience.

Makenzie Is amazing! She's been doing my hair for a couple of years now and she's the only one I trust to cut my hair. She's super sweet, friendly, and keeps good conversations while she's helping you. I would HIGHLY recommend her. :)

So happy I chose Evolution Hair Design for my color recently. They have a very talented, friendly staff and I am so happy with the way my hair turned out. Plus they offer complimentary drinks and sell Moroccan Oil products; I was in 7th heaven! ;) I'm definitely a happy and satisfied customer. :D

I came in with a test…no, kidding, but if I had, Tanja would’ve passed with flying colors! My hair has never looked this good, and the highlights are so perfect that I have family asking where I got them done and how soon appointments are available! Now, in the future, I’ll have to fly back from LA because I don’t trust anyone else :).

Amazing Salon! I am new to Portland and this is going to be my forever salon. I can honestly say that I don't think my hair has ever looked this good! Tanja and Dennis are absolute professionals. I won't let anyone else touch my hair again except Tanja for the coloring and Dennis for my cuts.

Highly recommended. The salon is very clean, and personnel are friendly. My personal favorite is Makenzie, she’s been taking care of my hair since last year. I do regret that I have move from Portland, partly because I don’t know if I could find as friendly and skilled as Makenzie in my new town. Best of luck for her in her career.

This salon is a hidden gem. I was looking for a hairstylist who understands and feels my needs for a while since we moved to Portland, and I found her! Ms. Makenzie is doing great job, she is very attentive to details, and since I met her, I keep getting tons of compliments on my hair. Now both my husband and I are thankful customers:)

Color by Tanja and cut by Dennis. When it comes to hair, there is no better feeling then being in the hands of experts. These two are phenomenal at what they do! The attention to detail is so reassuring and you will be leaving this salon looking better then when you came in.

Dennis is the absolute best. He’s been cutting my hair for about a year and a half now and I will never see anyone else. Most recently I cut several inches off my hair and he made it so cute and textured. I have naturally curly hair and he took the time to teach me how to best style it and how to enhance my curls with a curling iron. Haircuts used to cause me a lot of anxiety, but not anymore. Dennis is very nice and easy to talk to, and judgement free as I asked lots of questions. Just look at this photo, best haircut ever!

Makenzie was amazing! I went in looking like a hot mess, my hair was tragic. It was all dead, orange, and just gross. I went in hoping to get all the dead off but try and keep as much length as possible and Makenzie rocked it. She also got rid of all the orange color which is amazing. Highly recommend her!

LOVED getting my hair done here. My sister is a stylist here and did my hair. Total transformation and I loved it! I love that they offer complimentary wine, beer, tea and coffee. They also do this really unusual and very cool think with hair color. They sit you at a table with no mirrors so that when the color starts to change on your head, you don't freak out if you don't like how it looks. If you get your hair dyed as often as I do, sometimes the change with oxygen can be kind of scary. But oh my gosh. I would recommend this salon to ANYONE who wants quality hair. <3

Dennis is one of the best hairstylists I've had the pleasure of speaking with. He really took the time to really treat my hair right, and gave me some of the most eye-opening suggestions. The atmosphere, the service, the results are always fantastic. I have found the perfect place. I had to relocate after the salon that I had gone to well over 25 years was destroyed by fire. It was difficult to think of moving on from my past experience. I did research and talked with others. Then I found Tanja, the master of color! Truly. We have a lot of fun, and she is very professional. I can recommend her to anyone without reservation.

I have had a string of bad experiences with my hair(at different salons)and was a little scared to try someone new.. I was paired with Bri who listened to what I wanted and made my hair look fabulous. Which makes my 40th birthday that much better!.. Thank you Bri for your attention to detail.
