I have been using EWC for a few years and typically go to a Maryland based location. The tech who did my eyebrows missed a lot of hair but I did not realize this until I had better lighting in my car, I fixed them myself at home and kept my follow up appointment. I made it known during my visit that I worked for a local hospital and the day of the f/u appointment I missed due to being in a surgical procedure and I received a text from the technician saying I can no longer book and if I do it would be cancelled. I’m sorry but patients lives/care takes priority over an eyebrow wax job, I simply could not cancel due to my job and being in a sterile environment ( no phone). I’ll do business elsewhere.

Called to make appointment but ended up not making it. The girl who answered the phone(Megan) was very rude. I felt like she was too busy to help me. I’m sorry, I will call a different business that will appreciate clients.

European Wax Center on Carlisle Road in West York is amazing!!! My wax specialist Shelby was so respectful, kind, and kept the conversation flowing. I felt so welcomed by everyone. I 100% recommend them!

Jenny is phenomenal!! Ive been seeing her for my Brazilian for almost 2 years now, and i cant imagine going to anyone else! Shes equally as profesional as she is personable. She really cares for each of her clients and personalizes the experiences to each one of us. She remembers the smallest details of each of her clients, and talks you through the entire experience with your best interest in mind. She is also QUICK and efficient. You cant go wrong booking with Jenny, she is simply the best!! Shea is also my FAVORITE receptionist, shes bubbly and personable, and it always brightens my day when shes on the desk when I come in for my appointments, she creates such a friendly atmosphere, and like Jenny, is incredibly personable, remembering minuscule details of my life that I had told her last appointment and following up, she is such a wonderful person!

Jenny made my very first experience getting waxed feel completely comfortable as if i’m catching up with a good old friend from high school. this enlightening soul empowered me throughout the entire process because whether it’s your first or your fifth wax this is definitely a painful process and it’s lovely to be shown the level of support and patience that i was given. there was never any indication of judgement when it came to ingrown hairs or impurities instead i was met with solutions, understanding, and results!! I currently use the products produced by the business everyday and i would highly recommend anyone who is interested or considering making the switch. I will never go back to razors againnn!!

Very professional place! Megan at the front desk is so sweet and helpful! She really gives the place a welcoming vibe with a warm smile as soon as I walked in. I had Jo as my waxer and she made me feel very comfortable! She creates a calming environment with personable conversation making my first time experience pleasant.

I hated my experience at EWC and was pissed that they had gotten me to buy a wax pass…UNTIL I met Shelby! She’s so warm, professional and actually knows how to wax!! I knew she was gonna be my go-to girl when she plucked the random hairs in my underarm area without me having to ask her lol. The perfectionist in me was ecstatic that I had finally found a competent waxer at this place! In case it’s not obvious, I 100% recommend this place IF you book with Shelby! 🥰
