Absolutely amazing experience with Tiffany today! I showed her a photo of what I was looking for and she absolutely knocked it out of the park. She was nice and easy to chat with, and the location of the salon is lovely as well.

I had an absolutely lovely experience with my hairstylist Jamie. She was so kind and transparent about costs and working with her made me feel comfortable and relaxed—I definitely felt like I was in good hands. Going in I had several layers of dark box dye on my hair as well as random spots of sun bleached hair and I wanted to lift my hair to a warm honey color. Jamie did an absolutely fantastic job. I got even more than what I asked for and she paid such close attention to the details. I’m usually very picky about my hairdressers but Jamie is such a talented hairdresser and I’m so glad I happened to book with her. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend booking with her.

I recently relocated to San Diego from Minnesota, where I had the same stylist for 20 years. I have curly hair and was nervous to let someone new cut my hair. Elena did an amazing job! I have found my new stylist! I recommend Elena to anyone with curly hair, she does an amazing job!

I absolutely loved this salon. Today was my first day using them, and I needed a correction. Tiffany, my hairdresser, was literally so knowledgeable and welcoming. Once she started talking, I knew she knew her sh*t!! I totally trusted her and will definitely continue using her in the future! Also, PS: She is a blonde specialist, which is a hard color to perfect, so if you're blonde, I strongly recommend her❤️

I have been going to Escape Salon for several years and have had two great stylists there. One Stylist moved away and recommended her colleague Matthew Burleigh and it’s been hair heaven ever since. Matthew is professional, talented, creative, a problem solver and a lovely human being. He has helped me so much with my hair goals, as a woman of a certain age, we’re always trying to find ways to hide the gray, go gray, etc., and he always find the right way for my hair to look fabulous. His cutting skills are exact and his knowledge of color is on point and amazing. I trust him and always look forward to our time together. Book this stylist, you will not be disappointed!

Was Visiting San Diego recently and decided to book a highlighting appointment and roots at this salon. Went solely based on the reviews and crossed my fingers. Booked with Allyson and was not disappointed. She listened to what I wanted, told me what she can do and what to expect and delivered in a timely manner. Very friendly salon. Will definitely book with Allyson here again if I am ever in town.

Y’all! If you’re thinking about it, just commit and make your appointment. The salon is clean and cute and organized. Ross cut my hair and he CRUSHED IT! I had long hair almost to my waist and I chopped it. Thank God Ross was the one who had availability because he specializes in shorter cuts. He gave me a bob that I am totally in love with. He took his time and made sure it was perfect and let me tell you, probably one of the best experiences I have ever had at any hair salon. Thank you!! By far my favorite cut!

I had an odd experience with this salon. I was in San Diego from out of town and needed someone to blow out/style my hair for a photoshoot. I had made the appointment about a month in advance and called to confirm the appointment twice before my arrival. Everything seemed good to go, but upon my arrival they had no record of my appointment and it was just by luck that one of the stylists was ending an appointment early and could fit me in. I have pretty short hair, so I figured we'd still be able to get the wash and styling completed in the timeframe I needed it to be in to make it to my photoshoot on time. The wash wasn't great, she missed the entire base of my head, but I didn't say anything as we were in a rush at this point. She blew out my hair and started curling. Overall the curls were nice, but she sprayed so much hair spray on top of them that they didn't hold for long despite my mentioning to her that this tends to happen with too much product in my hair. I requested one set of pins on the side of my head to pin back my bangs that love to fall in my face and she futzed around with this for a painfully long time, all the while talking about how she doesn't do "up-do's". We still ended up leaving the salon 15 minutes late and were therefore late for our session as well. I ended up having to wash my hair that night due to the amount of product in it, so the blow out was kind of a loss, too. I am thankful the employee was able to fit me in, but the experience was chaotic and I would not return.

I was traveling in San Diego for a work event and found this salon that was within walking distance of my hotel. With an arm injury, I was unable to efficiently navigate a hair dryer and needed a blowout. Setting my appointment was easy and Paul was awesome. He gave me a few tips on styling that would be easy for me to manage while dealing with my injury. THANK YOU PAUL MICHAEL!!

Loved it! Scheduled an appointment for me and my fiancé to come in the day before and we arrived a couple minutes late, but they took us in right away. We were offered refreshments upon arriving and both stylists took their time to listen to us admit what we wanted and weren't afraid to offer their feedback if needed. I'm growing my hair out and Paul knew exactly how to help me and my thick, wavy hair. He used the "killer curls" cream on my hair after the cut and it made my hair look so good that I bought the same cream afterwards. Highly recommend!

Tiffany did an amazing job on my hair! I'm always afraid of getting too much cut off, but Tiffany trimmed the perfect amount and put in beautiful face framing layers. The atmosphere was great, conversation was wonderful, and I couldn't be happier with my cut. 10/10 recommend and I can't wait to go back!

I have been coming to this salon since before the new ownership and always had a pleasant experience. I can’t say the same for my last visit. I ask for the same cut every time which is a trim. It takes the artists max an hour or hour and a half with styling since I have long hair. Tiffany took almost 3.5 hours. I actually had to ask her a few times that I needed to go and she kept going on about having to fix parts of my hair. I am not picky what so ever. I even asked her not to style my hair in the beginning but she said she preferred to do so since she can see the haircut better ( which I understand ). I don’t have 3+ hours to spare, and it shouldn’t have taken her that long since her expertise is long hair according to her bio. This was a waste of my time. She needs to be mindful of the clients time. I love getting my haircut and coming to this Salon but this experience was frustrating and uncomfortable.

I came here for the first time to get a wedding hair style from Madison. She was a complete gem. So sweet, very honest and helpful like a sister. I vibed with her right away, and she made my hair look gorgeous along with recommending some products I am now in love with. Thank you dear!
