Came in for lighter blonde highlights - Vicky spent 4 hours on my hair for me to leave with it darker than when she started. Do not come here for blonde.

I have been coming here for years. Owners may have changed along with stylists, but; fhe consistency and high quality hair care and knowledge upon the team is top notch. Whether you see a stylist on a consistent basis, or; need to see a different one due to your schedule and availability, each and every one is amazing! Highly recommend!

Being new to the area and after reading reviews I decided to give Epic a shot. I was super impressed with the atmosphere and the stylist that was chosen for me. Vanessa, took the time to listen to my wishes and actually went above and beyond to make me feel so much better. I will be back for sure!

Always an amazing experience at Epic Salon. Mel did an amazing job coloring my hair and cutting it. I went with a completely different color and style and it looks fantastic. Mel listen to what I wanted talked about options and followed through with an amazing look. The entire staff at Epic Salon are amazing. You feel like part of the family the minute you walk in. Friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend Mel and Spic Salon

I literally just left this place and I could stop driving fast enough to tell everyone that Mel is probably one of the nicest, sweetest, funniest people I’ve ever come across. I haven’t been to a salon in years because of bad experiences and always getting someone trying to push what they want to do even when I’ve said no. I’ve had anxiety about hair Salons (silly I know) but Mel made me feel so comfortable and I’ve finally found my stylist after 30 years of not having one! Honestly just a relatable ray of sunshine with an amazing personality! So thank you so so so so so much ♥️

I’ve gone here for a little while now but then my stylist left, so I tried someone new. Wish I never did. My blond was yellow, she was rough as hell with my head, and she rushed me to fit in another client early. I wanted balayage and she just did highlights. We discussed doing low layers in my hair which she conveniently forgot about, and I wanted curtain bangs. She cut them super thick and short. She couldn’t even style them herself. If you don’t know how to do a haircut just say that, don’t try and ruin someone’s hair. Not to mention they seem snobby there. Never going back there. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere

Vicky and Maddie have both done my hair, they are fantastic! They both always do my color better than I could have imagined whether it’s vivid colors or bright blonde highlights. The atmosphere of this salon is incredible. I love the vibe and the stylists are so sweet. Highly reccomend

Absolutely wonderful staff and great experience! I had the sweetest and most attentive stylist (shout out to Carla!) Who went over everything from beginning to end with me and was super gentle with my hair! Loved the end product and loved her!

I have loved every service I have received! Vicky has been the best hairdresser I have ever had, and truly reads my mind to get me the style and color I’m envisioning. She has gotten me to fall back in love with my hair and styling it. She also does an amazing job with my boyfriends’ hair. I could not recommend a better hair dresser. The studio itself is also very chic and all of the staff has the best attitude whenever I come in.

I’ve always been very happy with the haircuts and dyes I’ve gotten done here by Vicky! Vicky is a very talented stylist. She’s done a few different colors on my hair and it was always just how I wanted. Same goes for haircuts. She really knows how to cut my hair so it fits my face well. The staff are all very welcoming and the salon is a really nice environment!

did not work for me. I guess they are more proficient in women haircut. They did a girly haircut for me even after I shown the photo of how the haircut should be which was horrible. Thumbs down for Men's haircut.

I spent $190 on a highlights at this salon. I've been a platinum blonde all my life and had not had my hair done in months. I left the shop after 3-hours, w my hair a darker brown than when I arrived, and very disappointed. The stylist had me back, and spent an hour trying to fix, which didn't make much a difference. I emailed the shop to discuss and they never responded. My hair is naturally light and lifts easily. I showed the stylist a picture of myself and what I wanted. I also liked her blonde color and told he that was how light I wanted mine. If you are looking for platinum, this shop can't do it. Don't waste your money.

This is the worst experience I ve ever had at hair salon. All they care about is money $$$ and not the customer service…I was rushed to get my hair done and paid more than I was told at the beginning. paid $290 for half balayage only no blowout no treatment while Lindsay the stylist said $190!! On top of that I was charged $60 for hair cut that I didn’t get because I didn’t show up but i have responded to their text that I would like to reschedule and after email and talking to the manger etc they end up charging me the full amount and they never cared about keeping their customers

Vanessa from Epic Salon has single-handedly allowed me to fall back in love with my hair! As I’ve gotten older, my hair has gotten so dry. It was becoming lifeless, dull, flat, etc. I was overusing hot styling tools to try and make it look presentable, but that was doing more damage of course. Vanessa never tries to push products or treatments on me, she prefers to keep things really simple - less is more in her book. She gives me her honest advice about what I should do in between appointments and how I should care for my hair which has helped transform it and finally restore moisture into it. Also, she’s SO thorough when trimming my hair. You can tell how focused she is every time, she double and triple checks her work along the way, and she doesn’t allow herself to get distracted with talking or multitasking. She’s truly amazing, I can’t recommend her enough, especially if you’ve been struggling with the health of your hair like I was for a while. The salon itself is very nice and clean inside. The staff are always friendly and welcoming!!

simply the worst experience ever, haircut was terrible, root color did not cover and highlight was not as instructed. i don't blame the hair stylist as she was very inexperienced. i blame person who booked the appointment as i asked for most experienced stylist and colorist. did i mention i paid $205

Hillary is AMAZING!!! Since I moved to Connecticut a couple of years ago, she has been coloring and cutting my hair, and I honestly can’t imagine putting my trust in anyone else! I’ve always been a bit picky when it comes to my hair, but with Hillary, I don’t even have to show her an example or explain what I need - she just knows. She’s intuitive, super talented, and always so calm. Hillary truly makes your salon visit a five-star spa experience. If you’re looking for a fabulous stylist who can SLAY any highlights, balayage, color or cut, look no further and book an appointment with Hillary!

I have been going there for over 4 years. This last time was the end. Very unprofessional environment. Hairdresser admittedly cut to much hair off then proceeded to tell me I was too picky. I have referred 4-5 clients that became regulars there since I started going. $115 + $30 tip = $145 for a subpar haircut and a glaze that already washed out ( service was on Saturday).

I have been going to Hillary for the past 3 years and she is nothing short of amazing. Hillary is kind, patient, attentive to every detail and always brings my ideas to life. Katie is the best stylist I've ever been to. After several years of being her client I've never left anything but elated. My cut is always precise and my color is the best it's ever been. I can't recommend Katie and Epic salon enough!!
