Empire Beauty School is one of the largest providers of cosmetology education in the United States. This was my first time getting my hair cut in at least a few years! I went from loooong hair to a little more than shoulder length with lots of layers! It takes a little longer than a regular hair cut at a professional place, since she was in training. I had a lot of fun and it was very fascinating to watch as she showed her how to do the techniques! I am very happy with my cut, the shampooing that was included was great too! There's one small spot that I think she missed for layering, and some of the face framing is slightly longer than the other side, but it's not a big deal as I can touch it up easily or ask my sister for help! Over all VERY happy 😊

Went for my first service of a haircut and deep conditioning treatment and was truly amazed at the work done! My hair had never felt so soft. My stylist, Anahi, was very thorough in explaining the different products and made the appointment very enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend her work!

Where can I start, Megan and the of the staff have been a family and a community to me. They have helped me though so much more than I could ever say. As education it miraculous but the love and passion is there for every student as well. I love empire beauty school and will forever remember my experience there.

PEDICURE……My mother and I went in today for pedicures. They only had one operating pedicure station, the other was as broken down. So I ended up sitting in a wheely chair (as did the student), and a bucket to soak my feet. It was so incredibly uncomfortable of my back as I had to hold up each leg she would be working on, so I didn’t slide away. Both students my mom and I got were awesome girls. And they followed their routine of what they were taught. But I’m not sure what the school teaches bc they don’t “clean” out my nails, nor trim your skin around my toes, nor cut my cuticles, nor file your heals, no massage, no lotion, no oils. The service should be listed as a polish change. She removed my nail polish, then filed my nails, then I soaked both feet for about 2 mins, then she painted them, and that was it. All their top coat polish bottles (I believe 4 of them she went through checking) are gunky and dried and stringy. The school really sets them up for failure. They had no nail equipment to do anything. Instead of offering a service you really can’t follow through with, or don’t provide the students with the capability of doing their job, it would be better not to offer it at all. I also noticed no instructor ever checked on them to see how they were doing nor checked their work at the end. I know they are cheap and that’s the point as they are learning. But this was definitely a fail of the school. They offered a service “pedicure” and that’s what I thought I would get (regardless of the price). I won’t be back.

My experience at Empire was amazing!! Everyone was professional and friendly. Jazmine did an incredible job on my hair and was very knowledgeable. Jazmine washed and blow dried my hair and I loved how my hair felt and looked when she was finished. Thank you!!

Mr Henry is the best Teacher ever. I was feeling a little nervous Starting back after 20 years. He makes learning fun and is very passionate about making sure each student understands.
