Emily was wonderful with my picky 9 year old son. He wanted to keep his hair long but still get it cut. She was able to work with us to get the style he desired. Great snacks and drinks too. My son thought that was a huge plus. He also got to watch a show while she cut his hair which he loved. Great welcoming atmosphere as well! We will definitely be back!

Having moved back to Howard County over the summer I was in need of a new stylist, was recommended Emily by a fellow mom, and so glad I took the recommendation!! Emily was a joy to work with and she made my mom chop hair dreams come to life! Not only that, but booking an appointment through her website was super convenient and easy! Highly recommend paying Emily a visit for all your hair needs. ☺️

Emily was so professional and I loved the end result! I wanted to get my hair chopped off before a wedding and she more than delivered. I almost fell asleep when she massaged my scalp during the hair washing. I’ve never had a go to hair person before but I think I found the one. Could not recommend Emily enough.

Emily is wonderful! She really takes her time to make sure you’re getting the end result you want! My service took awhile because I have ALOT of hair but she made sure to check on me throughout the whole process to see if I was hungry, thirsty or needed to use the restroom. Will definitely book with her in the future :-)

I wish I could pick Emily up & take her to New York with me, her services are that good!! I had the pleasure of working with her the past 4 years and she made every vision I had come to life. Not only talented at doing hair, but truly an amazing person. Taking a seat in her chair is a weight off my shoulders, knowing I can yap away and will leave looking so fresh. Emily is fantastic! I shared what I wanted, and she actively listened, and then asked clarifying questions. It was easy to share what I liked and disliked about my style. Her prices are way more affordable than large salons, and the quality of her work and services are on par. I highly recommend Emily.

Emily and her space are both amazing, she goes to incredible lengths to make sure her guests are comfortable from snacks to music. From the thorough consultation, the shampoo (and amazing head and neck massage) to final touches, you can tell Emily puts 100% of her heart into her craft.

Emily gave me a wash, blow dry, hair cut and style for my biological hair and toppers. She did an amazing job and talked me through all the steps! Could not recommend her more for extinctions, wigs, toppers, etc!!

Emily is awesome. She listens to what you want, your budget, and gets you in in a timely manner. Not only is she an amazing stylist she’s also so sweet and will make sure you’re always comfortable. She has snacks, drinks and even Netflix/disney+/etc, to watch when you’re in the chair. 10/10 recommend

I highly recommend Emily! She’s professional, creative and absolutely amazing! She takes the time to get to know her clients, listens well, and is detail-oriented. She’s a master with hair color and I trust her to enhance my hair with her skill and creativity. After my last haircut and partial highlights/lowlights, I received many compliments on my hair transformation. Emily is knowledgeable and offers many hair tips to keep hair feeling healthy. Her private suite is has a HEPA air purifier and feels very safe. Her hair and neck massages are therapeutic and the complimentary beverages are an added bonus. Honestly, I felt so relaxed and beautiful after my last visit with Emily I didn’t want to go home. I highly recommend Emily for all your hair needs!

Absolutely incredible service!!! Emily was so communicative and really listened to what I wanted, and boy did she come through! I got full color with highlights, a root melt, cut and style and I am obsessed. The studio is stylish and comfortable and she was great to work with. Can’t wait to be back in her chair to try some more fun stuff out.

After seeing the great job she did for my wedding, I decided to get my hair done with Emily. It’s about an hour drive but it is so worth it, when you find someone who knows what they’re doing and makes sure you’re ok throughout the process (which can be pretty long sometimes). She’s also a wiz with scissors, and she knows exactly what to do for after-care. Still 100% recommend!

Emily is AHH-MAZ-INGGG! I am not always the best sitter and I have a hard time not touching my hair, but she is always patient with me. She always offers a drink and makes sure that when I leave I am 100% confident in my hair. She genuinely wants you to look and feel BEAUTIFUL!! I also love that she offers silent appointments. I love the ability to just zone out and not feel pressured to speak if I'm going through it. And she honors it too, the only things she'll say are about the hair cut to ensure you are getting what you want and that you have the same vision. I won't go to anyone else!

I had a special event to go to and depended on Emily to give me the look I was after. She did an outstanding job with my makeup, false eyelashes, and then added a long ponytail to my shoulder length hair. She helped me put my brimmed hat on in a stylish manner to finish the look. Emily's artistic approach to hair and makeup is her biggest asset. She listens to the customer and delivers her best effort every time. She is a leader in the world of hair color. Her ability to transform lack luster hair with the latest coloring techniques is truly phenomenal! Emily is always updating her credentials. She is a true professional and loves her career. I have used Emily as my stylist for about a year and I am loving my hair!!! She has helped me take better care of it with giving me the right haircut and with recommending products that actually work. Every time I leave Emily I feel beautiful and confident! I love how her room has everything in it, so I don’t have to get up to switch chairs for washing and hair cutting. Emily truly emphasizes what I already have!

I walked into Emily's salon defeated. Didn't know what to do with my hair anymore. It was down to my butt, flat, faded red and brown, and just hard to manage (especially with a 2 year old who would accidently step on it, OUCH!) By the time I left my hair was GORGEOUS! shoulder length, beautiful partial highlight with a root melt, amazing layers for some bounce and lift. I felt like a brand new mama! I gave Emily a picture and she mastered it!! I absolutely love my transformation, i got highlights low lights and over 12 inches cut off. I left her salon very pleased with my new hair doo! She listened to exactly what i wanted and made sure to adjust everything i wanted with out complaint!! She made the whole time in the chair very comfortable and relaxing with snacks and drinks offered and easy conversation! The amazing head/neck massage was also pleasant bonus!!
