I have found my new hair styling soul mate: Brad at Ella and Oz. I have natural curls, (not coily), and without the right sylist, it can fall flat. His method of shaping on dry hair and fine tuning on wet has proven to be perfect for my hair type. He has also given me the best highlighting ever. My natural color is auburn with, sadly now a LOT of grey, and he has taken it to a lovely natural shade with enough lightening to soften gray roots significantly. Ella and Oz has a very relaxed and friendly vibe, parking is never an issue, and there are other businesses I love within a few feet (hello, Mio Posto). What's not to love?

Brad = THE bees knees I moved to Seattle a few years ago and had a hard time finding a salon I liked enough to come back to. Ella and Oz is definitely my go-to now! I’ve come here a few times and Brad ALWAYS does an amazing job cutting my hair, not to mention he is very genuine and easy to talk to. I walked in tonight completely sick of my hair and not sure what I wanted and he gave me a new look I absolutely love!

Sharra is amazing! She has cut and colored my hair for years. Each time I just LOVE it. She listens to me when I want something different which is something that is difficult to find. And to top it off, her personality just tops the cake. Lovely experience every time. I followed her from her last salon to Ella and Oz. She’s that good!

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL I have never in my life experienced such a lack of professionalism and communication. I booked my appointment a month in advance and live an hour away—on my way to the salon the receptionist called to cancel my appointment. This is not my only issue and this I could understand—Sometimes people run behind and appointments need to be rescheduled—but it took me over a year to even book the appointment. OVER A YEAR. I called NUMEROUS times to schedule an appointment and they were booked up for months and everytime I talked to someone I would get conflicting information “you have to book online” “oh you can’t book that online because that option isn’t available” it seems to me that there is a HUGE lack of communication amongst this team and no one knows what the hell they’re doing. You may be reading my review “why doesn’t she just go somewhere else” I WOULD HAVE except I have money on my account that I purchased over TWO YEARS AGO that they REFUSE to refund me. So I have about a hundred dollars of my own money on my account there that they are basically holding hostage. So for nearly TWO YEARS I have been trying to get a haircut because who can afford to go somewhere else in this economy and spend MORE MONEY at a different salon when you already have a hundred dollars on an account to be used. So because I live an hour away and these people decided to call me while I’m already on my way to my appointment I go in asking for my money back and the stylist calls me “disrespectful” — the guy can’t manage his time and I’m the disrespectful one. So then he proceeds to tell me to call the manager and hands me a card with a phone number on it— so I call the number while I’m standing in the salon and the phone number on the card is just the number to the salon so it’s just sitting there ringing while the stylist and receptionist sit there doe eyed. Then they tell me to email this person. This is INSANE. If someone wants a refund of their money then you give it to them. Period. It should not in any world take over a YEAR to schedule an appointment at a salon, you should not book a MONTH in advance and then call an HOUR before the appointment and cancel it and then refuse to refund someone’s money!!!!!! I also find it HILARIOUS that they have this strict policy of cancellations for clients that “if a client cancels in less than 24 hours they will be charged a 100 dollars” is that a joke? Then where is my 100 dollars!?!?!!!?

I recently changed stylists to Sharra at Ella and Oz who worked wonders on my long, damaged hair! She trimmed away the damage and gave me a gorgeous new look that I absolutely love. My hair feels healthy and looks amazing now. I highly recommend her! I’ve gone to her about 5 times now and every single time i leave absolutely loving the way I look!

Sharra is amazing! I gave her the freedom to do what she thought would look best on me. I have long thick hair and she worked for hours paying attention to detail. She not only is skilled at her art Sharra is incredibly kind and lovely to talk to. If you are looking for a regular hair stylist go check out Sharra.

First time getting a haircut here and the service was better than expected! My stylist Genae was very friendly and did a great job with my haircut (I have a lot of thick hair) and styled it with ease. The place is clean and I appreciated that everyone had their masks on. Will definitely go back when I need another haircut!

I absolutely love Ella and Oz. I have red hair through and through and Xania absolutely sends my color formula every time. Xania also cuts my curtain bangs and long layers and does a wonderful job. Jessica helped me once as well with an Express Color and she was incredibly nice and talented as well. 10/10!

I love my Aveda, but walked out without purchase...I mean, figure out how to print the gift certificates!! Don't make it so hard for customers to gift people and makr appts. Really made me rethink the money I spend there.

I've been seeing Coral for cuts and balayage for a couple of years now and I'm so happy I found her! She is a very skilled colorist and is one of the only hair stylists who I can say has nailed it time and time again. I always LOVE my hair after seeing her and she colors it in such a way that allows it to grow out and still look natural, which is exactly what I asked for. I would highly recommend her!
