Absolutely terrible. For starters they demand your credit card information to KEEP ON FILE, just to schedule an appointment. Wtf…I made the mistake of saying I’d been there before 10-15 years ago. Welp they couldn’t find me in the system. (It’s because I confused it w massage envy) with that being said they would not let me pay the new client price of $79. They charged me $119. And waited until after the appointment to tell me. Not only that. The manager or what have it was dismissive and rude. The rooms have carpet which have to be extremely old. They’re full of stains and worn out, the walls have smudges of oil on them and the bathroom floors haven’t seen a mop. The massage therapist was excellent. This 1 star review is for the establishment not the therapist. The front desk clerk was very professional and kind.

I signed up for a membership a few months ago and enjoyed the massages in the beginning. However, the past three have been awful. The majority of the massage was the therapist’s elbow pointed on my back and neck. The massages felt rushed even though parts of my body (including entire front half of me) were just forgotten about or left undone. It seems all of the therapists are very new and don’t know how to give a professional massage.

We have been members for more than 5 years paying over $100 month. We used to be fans and now we are highly disappointed. Both my husband and I have been going to the same therapists for quite a while. Ones who understand our bodies. Elements then decided to make them elite therapists and we have to pay $15 extra per visit with them (not allowed to use our many credits for this). Now, we get therapists that when we ask them to work on our neck and shoulders they don’t even do it. And they use only their pointy elbows. Pretty sure they are brand new and that’s fine but it’s important to hear the client. Pretty disappointing

The absolute worst business practices, this is the closest thing to a SCAM! Every time you ask them questions on procedure and practices, each person has a different story and explanation. I Have 10, 90 minute credits I was told I could transfer to gift cards if not used by a certain deadline. Then when I went to do it I broke one of there 1 million rules and policies so they wouldn’t do anything to help. They continued to refuse to work with me and ended up calling the police on me to get me to leave. This place is a scam, avoid it like the plague!!!

THE WORST MASSAGE! I had a horrible experience with my massage therapist Miguel. I don’t know where he had his training, but his technique was awful! I came in for a 90 min massage. I was in a face down position for most of the massage. He had no structure. He massaged the right side of my back majority of the time. He didn’t use much massage oil and his rubbing left me raw. He went over and over and over on the same right side for so long! I asked him to concentrate on my shoulders and upper back. Which he did for like 3 minutes, then back to massaging my right side again with his forearm. He barely worked on my arms or my hands. He never once touched my feet! He supposedly has skill in facial massage which he asked about my jaw so I said it was ok to massage my face. He touched my face for less than 10 seconds and then he was done. It was the worst massage ever! I wonder if the lady that had him before me was the lady that didn’t even bother to leave a tip. I walked out of there telling the receptionist that it was the WORST! She was appalled! As was I!

I recently had a disappointing experience at Elements Massage Tempe. Despite confirming my appointment, it was not honored, leading to a significant inconvenience. The staff, particularly Operations Manager Brea and Front Desk Employee Kaylee, exhibited very unprofessional behavior. Their lack of customer service and rude demeanor left me with a negative impression. I hope the management addresses these issues to improve the overall customer experience.

I regret to express my profound disappointment with the operational management of the establishment in question. As a longstanding member for over a year, I have consistently valued the services provided by the massage therapists. However, I must convey my dissatisfaction with the administrative staff and front desk personnel, whose apparent lack of proficiency and coordination has significantly marred my experience. Having paid monthly fees, I accrued credits for sessions during periods when appointments were not scheduled. Towards the end of the year 2023, I found myself with three remaining sessions, coinciding with my massage therapist's relocation from Tempe, Arizona, to Mesa, Arizona. Consequently, I sought to transition my membership to the Mesa location, a decision that was initially met with agreement from the establishment. Despite assurances, complications arose regarding the transfer of my membership, prompting discussions to exhaust my existing credits before proceeding with any changes. I adhered to the conditions set forth, scheduling appointments before the stipulated deadline of January 14th. However, mere days before my scheduled session on February 17th, I was informed of a lack of extension records, thereby rendering my prepaid credits unusable. The ensuing inconvenience of navigating between both locations to rectify the situation proved arduous, compounded by the inability to resolve matters over the phone. Despite providing evidence of prior discussions and appointment scheduling conducted in accordance with the agreed extension, I encountered resistance in utilizing my credits. Such discrepancies in record-keeping and inconsistencies in policy enforcement have left me questioning the integrity of the establishment's operations. I am deeply troubled by the suggestion of impropriety and the implications thereof. It is my earnest hope that this matter be addressed promptly and rectified in a manner befitting the standards of professionalism and accountability expected from such an establishment. I humbly request clarification and resolution to this matter, as well as assurances of improved service and adherence to stated policies in the future.

I received a session as a birthday present and am so grateful. Andrew was an amazing therapist who knew exactly where to focus on my back. I honestly don't remember the last time I thought I could live a life free from back pain. I highly recommend this place for their welcoming staff and great therapists.

The people and the operation manager are running a scam. Paid for 3 sessions that I couldn’t use even after making appointments. Those money is my donation for them and their family. Try out massage envy!! Far better service.

Hands down best massage place I've ever been to! Each therapist has a different unique style which I appreciate at this location!! Front desk is really nice and so is the management! I always feel relaxed when I enter the building! Massage has made a huge impact and improvement in my life! I've been getting massages for 4 1/2 years now and feel the difference it makes on my well-being! Thank you for the great service and wonderful experience each time I'm here!

I am giving 4 stars to the administration for their attention to your needs when you walk in the door. My experience with massage is hit or miss if my regular therapist is booked months in advance or leave for different opportunities. If you have a massage that doesn’t provide a reasonable amount of relief it is frustrating.

I would give this place a 5 but their roster of therapists is forever changing which is annoying when you get used to someone you like and then they are no longer there. Over all this place is not bad but the some of the rooms need to be cleaned better. You can see spots on the carpet where lotion has fell. Just makes the room feel dingy...

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The front desk offered me a free massage and I politely declined. They didn’t offer any of my money back and wanted me to go back to a place I was crying half way through. You couldn’t pay me to go through this again. Update: They are refusing to give us the license number for our therapists to ensure they are indeed licensed. Continuing to look into this. They did give me the information. The therapists are licensed. It doesn’t change my experience but at least I know they are licensed.

Sylvia is the best massage therapist I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She took the time to listen to me and focused on the areas of my back/neck where I was having the most discomfort. Her technique was fantastic and I felt SO much better. I'll definitely schedule regular appointments with her from now on.
