I had the best experience with Elektric Ave. Salon! I tend to be scared to try new things with my hair but Elektra made me feel so at ease and walked me through what she envisioned my hair could do. I am so so happy with the results!

I have no words! Curly girls and guys, this is your salon! My experience with this salon and the wonderful owner was just that - wonderful! It's so nice to find someone so understanding and knowledgeable in styling and cutting curly hair! She absolutely TRANSFORMED my hair. One of the best salon experiences I've ever had, by far!

Possibly the hardest I’ve ever tried to get in contact with a salon, and it was all for nothing. I booked an appointment via square for a consultation, I saw so many good reviews, especially for people with curly/wavy/thick hair. I need someone who understands this, so I was so excited to see that there’s a salon who specializes here in Lynchburg. I show up for my consultation at the scheduled time and place, and the door is locked. I call. No one answers. I leave a message asking if I’m doing something wrong. I send a text. No response. I call again. I call a third time. Nothing. I text a second time. I call a FOURTH time. Absolutely no one is there. I leave a message on the answering machine to let them know I’m leaving, because it’s been 10 minutes and no one is here. I expect to get a message, or call back, or something, anything, but no. I then message them on their business instagram, trying to see if I can get in contact some other way - all I’m looking for is information so I can try and get another consultation booked. They read it, and never sent me a reply. I’m not sure what I did wrong, or if I messed up my booking somehow (despite the fact that they quite literally accepted the appointment), but I will not be coming to this salon. I am incredibly disappointed, because I was really looking forward to someone helping me with my hair. I’m sure they are great stylists, but it appears they aren’t looking for any new clients.

I cannot say enough good things about Elektra. She has an incredible eye for hair with the knowledge and skill to back it up. I've never had someone look at my hair and immediately come up with a plan that made sense for my hair type/structure but was also flattering. She's quick with a listening ear and great at breaking down info. Her curly hair skill is on point but I would recommend her to anyone with hair, no matter the type.

Elektra explained my hair to me in a way that no one ever had. She walked me through the process of what needed to be done to achieve the final goal. She took her time with the cut and made sure to communicate ways in which I could nurture the curls I really didn't know I had. Honestly, in my 41 years of life, it was my best haircut and overall experience. The cut she gave made me feel so confident. I received so many compliments afterwards.

Elektra is exceptional at listening, asking the right questions, and walking you through the steps involved to bring a vision to life. She is thorough and dedicated. Her experience with curls, shape, color, styling, hair care, and natural glow make up is exceptional. Highly recommended for weddings, big hair transitions, and routine maintenance/care.

Elektra is the only person I let touch my hair!! She’s the master of curly girls, and her balayage is unmatched. I wasn’t until I started getting my hair cut by her that I truly started embracing my natural hair. Her salon is a sacred space and she is always there for whatever you need!

I came in for a consultation and a big chop! I love what I got it is exactly what I wanted! It’s crazy how I just showed some pictures and talked it out and she knew exactly what to do and I got the big transformation I was looking for!! ❤️

If you want a personal experience with an experienced stylist, then Elektra is your girl. I trusted NOBODY to touch my daughter’s overgrown 3C hair. Her team took extensive time on both her hair and my heart as we navigated my daughter’s first hair cut. We were comfortable with the process from beginning to end, and so many tears were shed.

Love this salon!!! So kind and inviting! My absolute favorite place to get my hair done. I feel so confident in my hair now and always get so many compliments on the cut of it!
