I had Katie Nicole today for a much needed haircut, and she did a fantastic job! She totally listened to what I wanted in terms of a 70s look and really knew how to work with my wavy hair. I get nervous getting my wavy hair cut, because a lot of places tend to cut it much too short, forgetting that it will scrunch up when I wear it naturally. Katie Nicole was very welcoming, funny, and easy to talk to. The appointment was super relaxing and fun, she’s really a great conversationalist. I always love meeting other MSU alumni! Definitely recommend Katie if you’re looking for a talented stylist who knows how to listen!

Big thank you to Barbara for the haircut, color, and conditioning treatment! I love my new hair and this place always has such a wonderful energy! I’ve also had wonderful service from Kayla too. Overall, this salon offers expert hair stylists with beautiful results.

I have been getting my hair done by Lauren B for a little over a year now and she truly amazes me every time! She knows exactly what I want and I feel like so refreshed when I walk out of the salon! The staff here are all so sweet and the salon itself is very clean! Couldn’t imagine myself going anywhere else after going here. :)

I have visited Echo several times now for cut and color, and can I just say, I always feel so welcome. The culture of the salon is very kind and welcoming, and I usually see Halley and Ally, but recently met Bethany as well. My hair always turns out great and alwsys have a good time while it's being done. I love them so much the salon is also doing all of the hair services for our wedding this weekend! 10/10 would recommend!

I recently got a balayage with Lauren Bockheim and I love it! She’s an excellent stylist—so professional, accommodating, and executes with expertise! Highly recommend this salon, and specifically Lauren for cut and color!

Halley did an amazing job on highlights for my wedding hair! She listened to what I wanted and made sure that I felt heard! She transformed my hair from dull to bright!! Halley and Alex, another amazing hair stylist, also helped me pick out my hair extensions for the wedding and they did a perfect color match! If you are looking for blonde experts or a place that truly listens to what you want, you need to come see Halley and Alex!

disappointed in my experience here. two seperate times after getting my hair highlighted, i had to come back in to get it fixed because of very obvious streaks and discoloration. the "blonde" was orange and yellow. i won't be coming back here, i recommend taking your business to somewhere more professional.

I’ve been going to Sam for my hair, and she’s fantastic! As someone who’s low maintenance, I appreciate her expert advice on styles and colors that suit me best. Echo styled my hair for my wedding and as the bride I was disappointed with my hair immediately after it was done the day of. The stylist tried to fix it but ultimately I felt it got worse. The trial was decent, we discussed some things to fix. I have no idea what happened the day of the wedding. I have naturally curly hair so I was expecting a curly hair stylist to know frizz control. Right after my hair was done it was completely crunchy, and frizzy. Not even 30 mins after my hair immediately frizzed up. The stylists left before I was able to ask them to blow anything out. I will comment and say that my mom and some of the bridesmaids who received up-dos had beautiful hair. But as the bride, it’s hard to look at my wedding photos and see hair that is worse than anything I could have done myself.

I have been going to the downtown location of Echo Salon for over a year now to get my hair done and I can't say enough good things about it! The atmosphere is amazing, everyone that I come into contact with is always kind and professional, and the stylist that I go to (Kayla) always does my hair perfectly. I have told so many friends, coworkers, etc to go here as well and they all love it! If you're looking for a salon in the area, I definitely recommend!

I had an appointment yesterday for a haircut with Bethany that couldn’t have gone better. She was able to give me exactly what I was envisioning (fun layers and fringe) and she taught me some really helpful styling tricks along the way! You can tell she really cares about her clients, and I’m so happy I booked my appointment! I’m loving my new cut!!!

I had my first haircut here with Barbara! I usually go to another place, but they weren’t open on the weekends, so I decided to try Echo. My experience felt rushed and I didn’t get a scalp massage :( for the price that I payed, I expected a higher quality service. My haircut turned out great though. UPDATE: Echo Salon and Barbara have gone above and beyond to rectify my experience! They care a lot about their customers and their satisfaction. Will be recommending this place to others!

Omgsh you guys! Halley is one of the sweetest people ever. I have struggled with self image and decided to get extensions to bring my image of myself in my head to the world and boy was she ready. She was so invested in my project and wanted to help in any way she could. If your gonna pick ANYBODY?! It should be Halley. Her talent speaks for itself but not only that….she is a wonderful human to talk too.
