I had a HORRIBLE experience with Kellcie. She literally made me cry on my birthday if that tells you anything. I’ve also never written anyone a bad review. When I got there, I told her I rarely get my nails done & usually only get one color, so I don’t know much about nails or my options. I started picking out colors & she was very upbeat & excited, throwing out ideas of what we could do. She was nice at first, asking me what I’m doing for my birthday, etc. We settled on some colors, but the concept was still abstract. She then started prepping my nails- we had not even touched polish- when I told her I wanted to switch up the color palette. From this point on, her personality did a complete 180. I picked five colors, to which she told me, “These don’t go together! You can do THIS or you can do THAT, but you can’t do both!” She was EXTREMELY aggressive & very rude. And I’m sorry, but who’s paying here? I don’t care that you don’t like my color palette. She literally said to me, “You aren’t allowed to look at any more colors!” Nothing in her demeanor or attitude was joking. She made so many remarks talking to me like I was a child. So I picked three of the colors I wanted (since I wasn’t allowed to choose the others!) & never got the vision I wanted for my nails. When I picked the colors, she demanded to know how I wanted them on my nails - literally purple thumb, yellow pinky, etc. Even though this was never discussed in my first idea… After she was so rude, we basically sat in silence for the duration of the time. When I would ask any question, like, “Do you think this color of chrome will work with these?” she would NOT give me any input anymore. From what I gather, she was acting like a baby because she didn’t get to do the nails she wanted? I should have walked out, but honestly I was so shocked at how she was treating me that I didn’t even think of it. I even tipped her 20% because I’m a damn sweetheart, but she did NOT deserve it. I sat through the whole thing being so kind to her, and I honestly wish I would have caused a scene instead. I would never set foot in her chair again, and I hope any potential clients will consider this as your warning. Also, I work in the beauty industry too, and I would never dream to treat a client this way. This was my first & last impression of Eastside Nails. BYE.

Love Denise!! But all the ladies do quality work and have great customer service! They no longer offer pedi’s but still worth going!!! 💘💘💘

Stacey is amazing. Outside of being very diligent and delivering you the most on point clean cuticles, and a very even manicure, she's a good person. They're the real deal over at Eastside Nails, 10/10 recommend.

Very disappointed in how my appointment was handled. Scheduled nail extensions with Samantha. She did not notify me or have posted that my nails had to be clean without other nails on them prior to the appointment. Another client told me the day off, I messaged Samantha and she then told me she didn’t have time to remove anything before doing the nails. Last minute I’m trying to find a salon to remove what I had on to then go to her appointment. I couldn’t get this done in time. I messaged her to ask what to do! This information was not posted anywhere in her social media, and she didn’t inform me when I booked as a new client. I could not make it to the appointment, she told me it would be a no show and she could reschedule me. I forfeited the deposit I sent to schedule appointment, and paid for the entire set of nails that I didnt receive as a no show- 100% of the service. After I sent payment she stopped responding! Messaged multiple times. No apologies for wasting MY TIME and money due to lack of communication on her part. No reschedule, no nothing! After I tried to be nice even though this mishap was her fault! New clients need to know these things. Completely unprofessional.

the staff is amazing/welcoming/rad, the food is delicious. just because tap is in the name doesn't mean non beer drinkers won't be satisfied. get yourself some tequila and potato wedges and good company here.

BLACK OWNED!!!! They are focused on treating your natural nails, so you won't find acrylic services here. They are known for their nail art and Stacey and Denise are the best. You will absolutely need to book an appointment because they are BOOKED & BUSY!

I had an appointment to try gel nail extensions with Samantha. There were a few things that I didn't love (she reshaped my square natural nails to an oval shape, the extensions were sharp and pointy, I asked for the extensions to have a coffin shape but they were not). However, I didn't think these were big issues since I only needed my nails done for a movie I was in. Fast forward to weeks later, I schedule her again to have the nails removed as I prefer my natural nails. Barely 30 minutes before my appointment, she cancels saying something came up and doesn't offer any accommodations (see screenshot of text convo). Since she tells me to go schedule another appointment on the website, I do not specifying her as the tech and see my original day and time is available. I got to the shop at the time and see she's working on another client. After waiting a while, I find out the available time is for her. She says to me, "I told you I didn't have time to do your nails today." I tell her, "You told me to go to the website and schedule a time available that is convenient to my schedule." She says, "I meant a different day." I tell her, "You didn't say that." I feel that she was very unprofessional and her correspondence in canceling my appointment showed poor customer service. Nothing came up. She just didn't want to do my nails. If she was tired or something to that effect, she could have communicated that she needed to cut her day short and if I'll select her for another day, she would be happy to take care of me then. She did none of that and I do not recommend her services.

Absolutely LOVE Eastside nails. It's the only place I'll get my nails done in Nashville. Every time I come, I get my entire life... and my nails done 😊 All the girls are wonderful (and skilled). Unique nail art is their jam. The salon only specializes in natural nails, so don't come expecting to get acrylics or tips. If you have COVID concerns, it's a small shop and only a few people are in at a time. Everything is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized and all staff and patrons must wear masks.

I booked an appt for 4th of July & was v impressed by the level of service as well as how long my gel nails have lasted! I also got a pedicure but even after 3 weeks they both look fairly decent -- far better than I would have expected, and better after 3 weeks that I've would have seen from anywhere else after almost a decade of experience with gel nails. Would highly recommend and will definitely return. It's also a Black/women-owned business, which I found to be a happy coincidence as well:)

I cannot say enough good things about Eastside nails. Not only are the women who work here exceptionally talented, but they are also kind, welcoming, and hilarious. The quality of the gel manicure is SO consistent. You will never leave dissatisfied with the work they've done. Several of the women there too are talented nail artists, so if you want something unique or special, this is the place to go. I have often told the women there that sometimes I'll look for a design on the internet and then decide I should just let them create something unique because what they do is often way better than what you can find online. You have a lot of options for where to get your nails done (and trust me, I've been to many of the places in Nashville), but you won't get a better quality manicure anywhere else. Make sure to make an appointment online, and you won't regret it!

Loved everything from the music selection all the way down to the hand massage. The staff there were really kind, especially the one who gave her umbrella to a homeless person in need during my visit. My nail tech Denise, is probably the best nail tech I’ve ever had! She really cares about her craft and she’s very personable. Will definitely be back!

Friendly staff and accommodating when I asked my mani and pedi be done together, but the nails themselves were not done well. Cuticles were not done well, extra polish on my fingers, smudges in the polish, nails not filed evenly. I appreciated the friendly staff, but the quality was not good.

This place was an amazing find! Their Tuesday $25 gel special is great, but $35 for a gel manicure other days is still reasonable compared to other salons around here. I have been going here for a few months now and will not go anywhere else! The quality is great, the women who work here are friendly and knowledgeable, and my nails always turn out perfect and last!!
