Description
East Coast Flair was opened by Dee Ford, who with 35 years of experience, founded the salon in December of 2014. Dee previously owned a salon in Arizona for 15 years, and moved to DE to expand her operations. Once established in DE, Dee was being called to open a salon here, and soon realized that her passion extended beyond just customers, but also the training of other hair stylist. “I wanted a friendly, yet professional environment where my passion and creativity had no bounds. I strive to provide the customer and staff an environment that is peaceful in a beautiful setting,” expressed Dee in an interview. Dee prides herself on the evolution of the salon, education of the stylists, and consumer satisfaction.

I got the Qi Qi Vega permanent hair straightening treatment for $450 and it washed out. I was told it would get rid of Soem if not most of my curls (I have a 3 year old perm) and NOTHING happened. Not only did my hair stay curled but it also had a nasty smelling residue that made my hair tangle even more. For something so expensive I really thought it would’ve done something for my hair. I feel scammed.

Personally taken care of by the stylist. Clean shop. Call ahead for appointment because they have their regulars. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable to your wants after one visit.

Dee is awesome! The entire staff is friendly. I always look forward to my appointments. I've been going for nearly ten years and always leave feeling great! The staff stays up to date on their education and always have the latest styles and techniques available for their customers.

Dee is the best stylist around. She is extremely talented and will help you with her knowledge as to what you want to accomplish. They suggest products but do not push them on you. 100% recommend this shop!

Bri is 20/10!! I drove in from DC to try a new place since I knew I was going to be in Dover and not only were the prices very manageable, but I am so thrilled with the outcome! She gave me advice on what she thought would look good, explained the process and was VERY patient with me as we scrolled through many photos on pinterest. By the end, I had trusted her so much that we ended up cutting parts of my hair for a face frame - something I never thought I'd do btw. She is personable, respectful and knows what she's doing. Def coming back!

Brianna Kohout did my haircut and also did a blonde balayage and she did an incredible job!! She is super sweet and amazing at what she does! She does everything with care and takes her time to make the experience and hair the best that it can be! I was very pleased with both the service and the quality of the job!

Dee saved my hair!! I went to another salon for a haircut and they butchered it. Thankfully a friend recommended Dee and she was able to fit me in. Two hours later after her working magic on my hair it looks amazing!! I cannot thank her enough! She definitely has a new client

Hands down the best salon that offers services at reasonable prices. I recently moved to Annapolis MD and I have not been able to find another salon that’s anywhere around the same price-wise. Lexi is AMAZING and no matter what I want done she kills it every time. Every single person at the salon is so friendly and welcoming. I always schedule my hair appointments when I come back to delaware because I haven’t found the same service anywhere else yet!
