Made an appointment, so there was no wait time at all. Brianne took her time and did a marvelous job. There was a table and comfy chairs where I sat and did the crossword and drank some delicious camomile tea

What a great place! The ambience is perfect, cozy and calming. The location is easy to find and there was plenty of street parking on 800S and 300E. I came in to see Stevie for a wash, haircut, and blow dry and left feeling confident and happy with the outcome. She's an expert with Hairstory detergent-free hair washes, which I have been using for several weeks now. She gave me a great fresh cut and took off all the scraggly ends. I felt listened to when I told her that I wanted a cut that wouldn't necessitate daily styling since I prefer the minimalist hair approach. I feel so much lighter! I'll be back the next time I need a big change or a little trim.

Bri is an amazing artist! I've been going to her for years. She did a beautiful updo for my wedding and continues to amaze me with her style and color skills. I highly recommend Bri and Dry Spell. I have NEVER been disappointed.

Bri has been cutting my hair for almost 3 years, and she's amazing! I have really thick wavy hair and she manages to cut my short hair just right to keep it tame and stylish. She is also such a nice and fun person to talk to! I haven't done color but if I did I would absolutely trust her to do a great job.

Can’t get a call back for an appointment. I have called and left messages over the last 3 weeks and have not received any communication back. Goes to voicemail during business hours as well. My friend had referenced this salon as a good place to go so I’ve been patient to hear back because I really liked the way it looks and as I’m new to the city and don’t really know where else to go. Poor professionalism if you can’t call a prospective client back. Super bummer. Website also won’t let me book a basic consultation with the stylist I want which was detailed in my voicemails. Your voicemail system says you will return all voicemails and texts and over the last month you simply have NOT done that. I get the being with a client makes you unavailable during that time but you see clients 7 of 24 hours in a day.

Stevie is absolute magic for hair color and cut. She has a natural sense about what will work well and she is always right! I have been so amazed at how great my hair looks now that I have been going to her for 3 plus years. She is also so kind and smart and fun to talk with. You will not find a better stylist anywhere in SLC. I promise.

Quite small and very intimate. This place is just getting off the ground and the stylists here are friendly and very, very competent.
