December of 2023, I went in to get a haircut, 2 colors, and my eyebrows waxed. That is what I asked for. I told the blond lady that I have severe anxiety. I went into my appointment, which was with a medium melanated lady. I told her I wanted layers, to frame my face.. and 2 colors. She didn't cut any layers into my hair, and gave me the most minimum highlights, I'm not even sure she used a different dye. What I didn't tell them is that I am autistic. I got sick some time after, and then broke my leg. My hair got so many knots and matted up (because I didnt have layers)... that I finally took scissors and cut it to an inch all around my head. My hair was almost halfway down my back. The longest I've ever had it in my life and now it's an inch long. I was so upset it took me till now to be able to communicate without being profane and hateful. I just hope the large tip I gave her made her feel guilty. This was the worst experience I've had since 1993 when Great Clips (in NC) gave me a mullet. Today, I'd rather have the mullet. [And doesn't even deserve 1 star]

10/10, would recommend anyone to go there! All staff is friendly, they dont push you to do anything you wouldn't want. If you have any questions, they answer honestly. I loved it, it was my first time at a hair salon & they definitely will be seeing me again! Side note - It's on a busy street & can be hard to find parking out front if it's busy but there is parking in the back, you'd have to drive back out & go through the alley.
