I've been seeing Elon for 10+ years and she is the only person I trust to color my hair. After growing up in Sacramento, I moved to the Bay Area and will drive 2 hours each way to De Facto Salon so Elon can color my hair. She is truly an artist. She understands exactly what you need and always has a vision based on what you tell her you're looking for in your color/cut. I feel like a new woman when leaving her salon and have never been disappointed. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Elon is absolutely the best! I trust her whole heartedly with my hair. She always seems to know what I want even when I do not have the words to describe it myself. My hair used to always break when it got to a certain length, but after going to Elon for a few years she has helped advise me on how to truly care for my hair, and now I have been able to achieve some length. I cannot recommend Elon at Defacto enough.

Elon is amazing hair stylist, she kills the balayage everytime. I’ve been going to her for 8 years and I always get complimented on my hair. De Facto Salon is located in a little shopping center with good parking, it’s so cute inside, it feels intimate and relaxing when you are there. Elon is so sweet and so is everyone else who works there. I always look forward to my hair color days. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair.

One of my co-workers recommended Elon and Defacto salon when I was looking for a new stylist, and I couldn’t be more pleased! She is one of the best colorists I’ve been to, and I’ve been to quite a few in the various places I’ve lived! I feel comfortable either chatting for a bit or just reading my book, because the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Highly recommend Elon and Defacto

I’ve going here for years. My stylist is Leanne and she is great! I do not live in the area and I drive an hour to see her! Highly recommend.

Seems like a nice enough place and my friend has gotten great cuts here, but I was a bit disappointed. I had to ask multiple times for the stylist to cut my hair shorter and show her pictures again because she was too hesitant. It wasted a lot of time and it still was not as short as I wanted or as short as the picture I kept showing. This is probably fine for people who are equally hesitant to cut their hair. But not the place for short women's cuts.
