Very unprofessional experience. I came here multiple times before and my visit today is ridiculous. Even with an appointment, I still spend more than 4.5 hours in the store, with lots of time waiting during this period. The formulas were on my face and ears, so itchy and I had to ask my boyfriend to bring me some tissue to clean it up. After they dyed my hair, no one actually used shampoo to wash, they only conditioned me. My head feels itchy when I got home. I made it very clear that I have appointment with friends at 6:30pm when I first started to do hair. My friends was sitting at restaurant waiting for me for 1 hour. The guy who cuts my hair said “ they already waiting you, they can wait longer “. Cannot believe why they don’t respect people’s time. For this kind of service, I would not go back. If you do not have time, don’t give me appointment, I would not expect to wasting my time after I make appointment in advance.

First time trying out D&C Hair Salon, went for a haircut and hair coloring it was phenomenal, clean atmosphere, experienced and friendly owner, attention to detail and excellent results! Definitely the best in Philly, would highly recommend!

I have visited this place multiple times. While my previous experiences were pleasant, the most recent visit was unbearable. Despite having an appointment, I had to wait for ONE AND A HALF HOURS. No apology was offered for this delay. As a result, I chose to leave a ~7% tip instead of the usual 15-20%. Shortly after, I received a text from the owner saying, "Next time, pay a deposit," which made me feel as though I was at fault. This is absolutely RIDICULOUS. I had no idea that a deposit was required for an on-time appointment. If a deposit is necessary to ensure punctuality, the owner should inform customers at the time of booking and not after wasting an hour and a half of their time. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.

I really want to gatekeep this place so bad but feel like I should do the right thing and share feedback. This is the first time I visited D&C and found them through their IG. Having Asian hair is tough sometimes because I don't feel like every stylist knows how to work on it but these guys did a great job. We started at the time of my appointment, the lady was very thorough in washing my hair and the guy who did my blowout and curls did such a great job!! Highly recommended!

My first time here and I loved everyone here, they were so nice and I have been meaning to find a place that knows how to handle asian hair and I was amazed at the results after my appointment. Will definitely go back and recommend to others.

I found D&C Hair Salon when I was looking at asian hair salons on tiktok and I must say the reviews were correct about this place! I got exactly what I wanted and they did a great job. I’ve been looking for a place to get my hair done in Philly for a long time and haven’t found anything good before I came here. Definitely coming back for both hair cuts and color!

I have been coming here for 2 years for manicure and Yan is the only person I trust with my nails! She’s very friendly, attentive, and talented. I’ve always loved how my nails turned out. The place is also very clean and inviting and their price is super fair.

So unprofessional. I recently went in for a haircut and had an older guy (not the main guy who's young and seems to always wear a hat). He was rough with handling my hair, AND he touched my chest inappropriately several times "checking the length" of my long front hair. I was surprised at 1st because people usually use a comb to check that, and thought maybe he was being thoughtless. But then after 2 more times, it felt intentional. I said to him, can you use your comb and not your hands, which he acted like he didn't understand because his English was limited. But he stopped checking my front hair afterward. I'm Asian and only speak English, but have gone to these Asian hair salons all my life. Pissed that he thinks he could do that and get away with it. Can't speak about the others in the salon, but there was no management there to talk to about this. Small businesses still need to be professional and not take advantage of women!

They asked clients who made appointments and came in time to wait A HOUR. One of us even just left during waiting. And the lady really didn’t put effort in washing hair, that she only washed once without fully rinsed my hair. I’m feeling ITCHY!!!!!

Win and Yan are the perfect neighborhood shop! I’ve been seeing Yan for my nails for over a year and Win has cut mine & my husbands hair. They are always professional and welcoming! They are the American dream! We love them!

Yan has consistently done an amazing job on my nails! She has helped me grow my weak, brittle nails to be stronger and longer. She’s got a great array of colors to choose from and is always willing to design the nails of my dreams for me. Highly recommend her!

Got an appointment for hair dye and received an excellent result! The color meets my expectation, and the product is also good, so that my hair doesn't feel very damaged after bleaching. The owner is very experienced and friendly. Overall, highly recommend this place :D

My very first time ever leaving a review anywhere. I can’t stress how much I love this salon. I went for the first time months ago to fix up the botched color I got done at a very reputable salon. Today I went back to get balayage done. I learn so much from Win, explaining the process of how damage my hair is. They work together to color my hair in a very detail and precise way that I am beyond grateful to have found them. My hair turn out amazing & I will continue to go to them for a healthier hair journey.

I recently visited this salon for a balayage, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Win and Sam and true artists. They are passionate about their work and ensures that you leave the salon satisfied. I was at their salon for 7 hours (3hrs post closing) and they ordered us food and adjusted my hair to my preference 2 times. Any of my Asian haired babes that are looking for somebody who truly cares about the integrity of your hair AND achieves your hair goals - look no further. They will not disappoint.
