I got an appointment at Cuttin Up and I am extremely impressed, I have thick and long hair. So, I just wanted a trim, I mentioned that my hair felt dry. Lexi said she would add something to it. As we were talking I asked Lexi what she would do with it. Lexi said that it would look great with layers and shaped around my face! Oh it gave it bounce that it hasn’t had in a long time. I love it and will definitely be back. Also, I’ll be taking my husband to get his hair and beard cut too!!! Thank you Lexi. I’ll be back!

If I could give a zero or negative I would. We are new to the area and we were looking for somewhere to get haircuts for the whole family(5). We brought my son(who is 15 months) here for his FIRST haircut and it was traumatizing. Not only did the guy(named Luis, I think) cutting his hair start with saying “uh only if he’s gonna sit still and not throw a fit, I guess I can try” when we asked if he was comfortable with his age. That should have been my red flag to leave. We let him try and it was awful. Not only did I have to hold my sons head for him while my husband held his arms, the haircut was not even and when I said it wasn’t even he said “well that’s as good as it’s going to get” and stopped cutting his hair. Then my husband was getting a haircut also, surely an adult hair cut would be better. WRONG. My husband ask for a trim, just a little off the top and his idea of a trim was cutting over 2 inches off. And the cherry on top was being told they are CASH ONLY after the haircuts were finished. It’s not posted ANYWHERE inside that it’s cash only. There is even a Visa/Master Card sign outside. Do not come here. I will never be coming back.

She butchered my hair 😭. No layering, no care to thin it just a little since it was so long, not even a mirror afterwards to see the back of my hair. She chopped off the length I asked and called it a day. My hair is so frizzy and unhealthy after just a week, I almost wish I had asked for a refund. However, I was not specific in my request for what I wanted so this is also my fault... to a point. My son's haircut is also uneven. The lady who cut my son's hair seemed new, so I'll give that a pass even tho it was a simple touch up to an uneven buzz cut. Toddler's move around a lot, w/e. They were nice enough so that's an extra star. Take some pride in your work!!! I could've had this same haircut for $15 at the PX. In total it was $50 wasted when Studio 101 charges me $30 for BETTER QUALITY!

I can literally not staring at myself in the mirror. Brandy worked Magic on my hair. It's exactly what I envisioned and she did it all with a smile. Her daughter cut my sons hair just as he asked for and he loves it as well. This is the place to go. I will try more of her services soon. My go to hair lady from here on out.

Their Racist I went to get my Eye Lashes done No one welcome me or spoke they jus looked and turned their heads then the young Lady finally came in to do my lashes she was sweet but the others was looking at me like I was in the wrong Place I Will Never go Back!!!

9 HOURS!!! Not 3, not 6. NINE hours it took Rachel to finish a double process fashion color on my hair. A little bit ridiculous, since I have been to this salon several times in the past and Margaret had me done in less than 3 hours for half of what I was charged. I am guessing, this time they did not have the special kind of color remover that takes out the crayon colors quickly and easily, so I got bleached over and over again. I feel lucky that my hair is not completely fried, and I am grateful for sweet and patient Rachel trying so hard to do a good job, because the end result looks really great, and very similar to the inspiration pic I brought in. So not complaining about how it came out. I just feel frustrated that I had to spend such an unreasonable amount of time, the ENTIRE DAY when I had other things to do, had to make arrangements for someone else to pick my kids up from school and care for them until I got home nearly bedtime. My suggestion to this salon is don't offer to do a service that you are not properly equipped for, Especially to someone who has been there before in less than half the time and cost. I don't feel I had unrealistic expectations. But that was just unbelievable.

I brought my son and daughter in as walk-ins just an hour before closing and weren't sure if they'd take us or not without an appointment. But two stylists were free and kindly offered to help us. My kids have a lot of hair! But the stylists were so patient and gave my kids fabulous haircuts! We were so grateful for their talent and time. We'll be back!

I just moved to the area and found the salon. It has a nice, clean professional feel to the place. Margaret cut my hair and helped me with my beard. She was very professional and friendly. She made sure I didn't leave her chair unless I was completely satisfied. A++++

If I could rate this shop it would be negative. I am a biracial female with a very good grade of hair the lady told me I had "ethnic hair" . When all she had to do was tell me she didn't feel comfortable doing my hair. Not only did she bleach my scalp but she had three different tones on my hair when it was only supposed to be one color. When I first walked in I asked for "Jordan" my original stylist she told me that she moved instead of telling me she relocated to a different solan. So after she let her "new worker' mess me up she finally told me the truth that JORDAN RELOCATED TO STUDIO 101 !! Thank God I found her because she fixed what that stylist at Cuttin Up destroyed. So please be aware and cautious when choosing this solan. Ps. If pictures are needed I have them too!!! THEY DESERVE ZERO STARS

I’ve been there twice. My first experience was great. The second time…not so much. The stylist made me feel like she just wanted me out of her chair so she could go home. I didn’t even get the opportunity to really look at it until I got home. My hair cut was not done the way I asked and my highlights were incredibly splotchy. No wonder I was rushed! I went to a new salon the next day!

Victoria did a great job on my hair! She's very knowledgeable, personable, and was able to work around my schedule so that I could get an appointment in before my vacation. I will definitely be going back to her as long as I'm in Louisiana and would definitely recommend her to friends and family!
