I just got the best curly hair cut and styling tips of my life!! Emorie is a curly hair cuttin’ badass to say the least! Took my hair from flat, heavy and dull to beautifully formed, light, bouncy curls. She took me through a complete style regimen for fresh day 1 hair or refresh day 2 or 3 hair. Gave me the best head massage of my life as well lol. Gone are the days of calling a salon and asking for someone who knows how to cut curly hair only to arrive and the stylist have a panicked look in their eyes when the see just how curly my hair is. I've been going to Curly Hair Studio for years and years now and I've never had a bad cut. They are hair magicians!! My curls love them!! I get compliments daily on my hair and recommended them to anyone! They are simply the best.

I got my haircut by Emorie this year and it looked so good, we decided to skip the wash and style! I walked out feeling amazing! These ladies are very attentive and responsive. I feel comfortable and even pampered at each appt. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a curly cut. Plus, love that it is female owned and operated. Rachel influenced my hair journey 10 years ago, taught me how to wear it curly and I have rarely gone back to straight hair!

I love Curly Hair studio and highly recommend it to anyone that has curly or wavy hair. I used to only get my hair cut once a year because I hated getting it cut it was always different and no body seemed to know what they were doing but now I go see Aspen at Curly Hair studio and I can fully trust she is going to give me exactly what I want. The environment is also so modern and cozy they offer you a drink and you can just sit back and relax and get the real feeling of being in a salon where people get you. Update: I've had my hair cut here a handful of times and they do amazing work! I really love the atmosphere and everyone who I have had the pleasure of meeting. My latest hair cut was by Aspen and she was very personable and recommended a cut that worked well with my curls. I got so many compliments the day of and following days because the products used were topnotch and I was able to save the style for many days.

I kept going back and forth about posting but ultimately decided to share my experience. My hair stylist didn’t listen to me and didn’t take into consideration what was important to me. I told my stylist, Emorie, that my last haircut I had gotten layers and I hated it and that it was my least favorite haircut. I told her specifically no layers except for around the front of my face and the rest of my cut I wanted it to be super straight across the rest of my hair. She showed me, before she cut, about how she would do the layers around my face and that was it. She did very minimal layers around my face but then cut so many layers and different lengths of hair around my whole head. I have pieces that are so short all around the crown of my head. So many different lengths. My hair was also cut to a v in the back. The exact opposite of what I had told her. I was very specific and very direct about what I did and didn’t want and feel very disrespected. I don’t understand why if she felt it would be better to do differently than what I asked her that she would have communicated that with me. I didn’t even see the back of my hair until I got home and couldn’t have known the extent of the haircut at the salon because of the extensive amount of product in my hair. My lifestyle and my concerns and needs as a client were completely ignored. Going to take years to grow back to where I can wear my hair in a way that works for me. Posting this in the hopes that this doesn’t happen in the future to anyone else.

Katie was fantastic! Personable, and informative. This was my first “curly” haircut but it won’t be my last. She was great at talking me through the process of replicating what she did. She made me feel more confident in own ability to achieve the curls that she was able to get in a salon setting. The step by step and product descriptions were great. She was even able to get travel size bottles of the products to purchase so I could take them back on the plane. My curls never looked better and the whole process was easy, from booking to post follow up text with detailed descriptions for the process and products. Katie makes you feel comfortable in the chair and she was so nice. I will be a regular customer for sure.

Chelsea is seriously the best. First time getting a dry cut from a place that specializes in curly hair and I will never go anywhere else. She was so friendly and informative. Went over styling and products. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist.

I booked an appointment for my husband on our anniversary. He’s been growing his hair out for several years and we had some concerns about his dry scalp and breaking ends. Emorie was so personable and gave us exactly what we came for! She was very thorough in explaining proper care and maintenance to my husband and coming up with a routine to keep his hair calm and controlled. The education she provided was my favorite part because she set us up for success long term and explained that we can always text or call for help. I love that this appointment wasn’t just a one-time thing, but rather a journey! Emorie was so sweet and easy to talk to. All of the staff were so lovely and kind, making sure we both were comfortable. Plus, we were able to purchase all of the recommended products for around $120–SO much cheaper than I was expecting! If you are looking for more than just a haircut, I 100% recommend this place. It was well worth the money! Thank ya’ll so much for boosting my man’s confidence!

This place is amazing!! Came here with a hair emergency while on vacation and they were able to work us in last minute. Everyone was so friendly and worked tirelessly to help us out. So thankful for their service and positivity during a stressful situation. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I frequently get asked where I get my hair done and I love to say it is at Curly Hair Studio. I like to recommend my stylist (Tayslie) to all my friends, but I also have had great experiences with everyone who works there and think they all do a great job. I especially love when the stylists aren't sure about something and consult others in the salon. It feels authentic and makes it so I would trust anyone there to cut my hair. I always feel so pampered and I've been going long enough now that most the stylists recognize me. For me, someone who only wears my hair natural, a curly dry cut is the way to go and I can't imagine getting it done anywhere else.

I've been going to the Curly Hair Studio for two years now. Chelsea has been my "go-to girl" for the majority of that time. She's awesome and my hair's health has vastly improved! The salon is comfortable and inviting. And I love the reclining chairs at the sinks that even elevate your feet. And the scalp massages... Wow! Heaven! The staff is all very friendly and knowledgeable. The best!

Tayslie is by FAR the best and I only let HER touch my hair. She knows everything there is to know about curl care, curl patterns, and products. She talks you through every step of the appointment including offering suggestions for flattering and beautiful cuts and colors. I will never go to anyone else (literally moved to Canada and return once a year for my haircuts.) Tayslie and the friends at Curly Hair Studio gets a 25/10 from me.

I went here for the first time and had my hair cut and styled by Amanda. She was personable, professional, and helpful. She showed me how to style my hair, what products to use or not to use, and answered all my questions. The appointment only took 1.5-2 hours. Clean studio and easy to find in a quiet neighborhood. Will go back in the future UPDATE: I go to Chelsea now and she's awesome! Makes my hair look great! She remembers what I get even when I don’t myself

I went to curly hair studio a few weeks ago to get about 13 inches chopped off and I have never been happier with my hair!!! Aspen was so sweet and delivered exactly what I wanted. Now that it's been almost a month I can say with certainty that I cannot wait to go back to maintain my new favorite length and style.
