I moved from Manhattan to Short Hills NJ and in search of a colorist who not only knew blondes but also did not leave my hair damaged…I’m so happy i found Cuozzo Studio in Madison NJ and have been going to Joseph for 2 years now! I highly recommend Joseph and his stuff! Studio is clean, staff has always been professional and always on time.

I’ve been coming here to get my hair done since 2006, and they never disappoint. Every stylist and colorist I've seen over the years has been incredible, and I always leave feeling like the best version of myself. The talent at this salon is unmatched, and I have complete confidence that whatever I ask for will be done with the highest quality. Even after moving far away, I still come here to get my hair done by Joseph and Diego. Highly recommend!

Joseph is the best! I’ve been coming to get my hair highlighted here for the last 12 years, even after moving to NYC I still take the train out to see him! Very professional and always does an incredible job. I highly recommend!

Hadn’t had a haircut in more than a year and was 4 months post partum, losing so much hair and about to head back to work. Diego reshaped and cut my hair so well I was able to go back to work with confidence and got many compliments on my hair! Big deal given all the changes post-partum! Will absolutely continue going to Diego!!

I came in with teal hair and left my nearly natural color as a brunette ! Isidra rocked the entire process and color matched me from root to end. I'd never think that green tone would be dyed over so well but here I am weeks later still staring at the change. Really knocked it out of the park for my first visit here. I'll be a happy returning customer !

I just want to thank Joseph and his staff for the beautiful transformation they recently did on my (now bright and healthy!) blonde hair! I would recommend Joseph to anyone in NJ who is looking for a blonde specialist that knows exactly how to get the right tone! I had been struggling to find a colorist who could really understand what I was looking for and who could help me achieve my blonde hair goals while maintaining the integrity of my hair. As soon as I walked into the salon, I felt cared for and attended to and the entire highlight, tone, cut, and style experience was very enjoyable and I couldn't be happier with my results. I am a natural (dirty) blonde and got a much-needed makeover after months of not tending to my pandemic hair. Joseph and his team are Experts when it comes to color and did exactly what I asked for— but better! I love my haircut too. The overall experience was so nice, they have a very professional and positive vibe in the salon. I loved it. Will be going back.

I have been getting highlights forever and have really never found a stylist who got it how I wanted it. I found that with Joseph. He is truly a master at his craft. Isidro did a great cut too! Don’t hesitate to go here you won’t be disappointed!

I am so happy to have found Cuozzo. I had been using a place that moved out of town- this place is excellent always happy with cut and color no matter which stylist I use- they’re friendly and the place is clean and inviting. Recommended to may friends who now use it also. Joseph even called once after I left because he thought I looked unhappy leaving and wanted to ensure all was fine ( I was focused on a work issue...). Very thoughtful and always want to ensure you’re completely happy with their work. I would highly recommend to anyone. - Maggie Carroll

I love this salon. I have been going here for about 15 years, and even when I lived in a different state I would come to Madison to visit family and get my hair done. I have very curly hair so haircuts are tricky but I’m always 100% happy here, and nobody does my highlights better than Joseph. Highly recommended.

i had hair exts done they came out beautiful... went bk to hv roots colored my hair & exts were perfect. until joe cuozzo the owner had a girl wash my hair who didnt know how to wash hair with exts... 3 hours later all the exts & my own hair rippped out. destroryed my natural hair completely. just an im sorry from joe & sent home... my family & husband were beyond upset & angry, i should have sued the salon. but tonya joes wife had me come in a few days later to re do the exts (at full price) it took 2 yrs for my natural hair to grow back & fill in, i never went back after that. my name is judianne.

I just want to say how extremely happy I am with this salon and the staff. They are very professional and the salon is very clean. I’ve started coming around when they opened the salon. I went somewhere else for a short period of time and that was a huge mistake. I came back and I travel an hour every month just to get my hair color and cut .I love getting my hair done here I get so many compliments about my color. My hair is long and healthy thanks to Cuozzo Studio for hair. I also referred my family and friends and we are all extremely satisfied with the service. The prices are great just like the service and staff. If you want a great hair cut and color you have to come here...... Trust me you won’t regret it!

This review is long overdue! As someone who is super self-conscious and anxious, going to get my hair done can take a lot out of me. But the owner and his staff have made me feel completely comfortable and I always leave feeling confident. I started coming here four years ago and I haven’t been able to go anywhere else. My recent haircut/color was stunning and I’m never disappointed. I highly recommend this salon to anyone.

As a girl with dark brown hair I thought it was almost impossible to achieve the icy platinum blonde look I always wanted. But Jospeh Cuozzo proved me wrong by coloring my hair to the exact color I wanted and making sure there was no damage on top of it. This is an amazing place surrounded by so much talent. Joseph always kept my hairs health a priority throughout the process which was something really important to me. A lot of times it’s hard to find a salon that can both achieve the look you want and keep your hair so healthy, especially when undergoing such a drastic change. Trusting your hair colorist can be hard but when coming here I fully knew everything would turn out incredible, and it did. I highly recommend to anyone especially those interested in undergoing a color change and want it to not only look good, but feel good as well. I could not be any happier with my results :)

I have gotten a balayage both times I have been as well as a cut and both times they nailed it. I am so impressed, the color was spot on and the cut was beautiful. I highly recommend this Salon, Joseph and his team do a beautiful job.

6 reviews 5.0 star rating 12/16/2017 This place is the BEST - make an appointment NOW! Joseph and his team spent the better part of a day doing color correction on my daughter's hair. Unfortunately, she had taken her hair into her own hands for about 2 years - bleaching, boxed dyes and doing her own cuts - this left her hair pretty damaged. Joseph was intentional and kind in his approach to restoring tremendous health to her hair and delivering a color that she was hoping for - she left the salon feeling the best she's felt about herself in quite awhile - it brought my to tears :) And, given we were there most of the day, I had the opportunity to see the team work on many styles, cuts and colors - everyone left looking amazing. I highly recommend - you'll be very good hands!

Dana is fantastic and has a gift for cutting curly hair. The salon is comfortable and everyone there is friendly. I came here years ago when my previous stylist moved away, and now I'm happier with my hair than I've ever been. Would definitely recommend.

I've been going to Cuozzo for the past 10 years and specifically Kassandra since she started working there about 6 years ago. She is the absolute best, worth of 5 stars! I can walk in, sit in her chair and she knows exactly what to do. She listens to what I want, I never walk out feeling like she cut my hair too short, or colored it completely differently than I wanted. I have recommended her to all my friends and family and they love her now too!
