Family owned shop. They are knowledgeable, skilled, and focused on hair care, not just hairstyles and trends. In particular, they are experienced with caring for coily, curly, twisty, kinky hair from braided styles to blow-outs, press and curls and everything in between. I've been a client for about a decade and I highly recommend them.

Before Covid, I called multiple times for a week, then someone finally answered. I had a blow-out which was good, trimmed more than I wanted but still nice. Now I've been calling for 2 weeks and no one answers, and you can't leave a message, it just rings. Not sure if they're still open for business because I call during working hours or just lax.

I have wiry 4C hair. I came here a few years ago and I left with damaged and limp hair. I was sat under a dryer for far too long and then they proceeded to blow dry my hair by hand and then had the nerve to flat iron it. I cut my hair off after dealing with them. Also I had came in for a relaxer and the hairstylist got upset and refused the service. I should of just left but I've definently never came back.

The braiding is wonderful!!! no pain and last long and promotes hair growth. The only problem was that I attended there 3 times and when I called to make an appt they never answered!! I called everyday for week and they have just never answered.

Be careful going here if you have fine/thin/easily damaged hair. The stylist didn't look at my hair before giving instructions to the assistant. I was sat under a hair dryer twice, over an hour each, blow dried and then flat ironed. As a result my hair is now heat damaged and limp. This has never happened before, especially after going to a professional salon. I should have turned around as soon as I walked in and both workers were sitting down watching tv. No one stood up to greet me.

I'm a busy single mom and I look for everything on the internet. I found this place with a search for black hair salons with a website. They are close to my house, reasonably priced, and do great hair. My daughters were happy with their hair. I strongly recommend this salon.
