I’ve been coming to cosmos for hair and skincare services since 2013, which has given me a chance to experience many of the stylists and estheticians. You know you’ve found a great salon when you know that anyone you see there will do a fantastic job for you. Yes, I have my favorites, but life happens and when your favorite can’t see you, it’s a relief to know you can still be taken great care of and not have to mess up your plans just because someone is out sick or has a family emergency. I didn’t have this kind of service and expertise across a salon until Cosmos in Mesa. I refer Cosmos to anyone who asks me who I go to (which is frequently), and encourage you to reach out to them, too!

The front desk reception area is not friendly. However my facial massage went well. Allison is very good at facial messages. Probably won’t go back because of poor reception at front desk.

Came to Cosmos for a previous haircut three years ago and loved it! Came back and had the pleasure of being taken care of by Erica. She heard me out with any question/concern I had, was extremely knowledgeable and compassionate in addressing my needs and I'm happy to say I had a great experience! So thankful to have healthy hair again and a great new look!

This salon is fabulous! La Vida med spa is also fabulous. It has the same owner, I sent pictures in to Kim (stylist) before my appointment for haircut and she did exactly what I asked her to! The waiting room while you wait for your services is amazing. Amazing snacks amazing water amazing coffee! The hair products they sell are high-quality And I was very happy with the service. I definitely will be back!

My stylist, Kaitlyn, spent a lot of time with me, figuring out a new style, highlights, lowlights, etc. The cut, style and colors are exactly what we talked about. Was extremely pleased with her attention to detail and the quality of her work.

My stylist, Sharese, did an amazing job on my hair. I asked for a lived in bright blonde that looks natural, and she delivered. I couldn’t be any happier with the results! She took her time, was very thorough, and kept the health of my hair in mind. Will definitely be returning:)

What a fantastic salon. I had the best time and an amazing stylist Ali M! An incredible cut and full highlights. My hair looks beautiful. Everyone was friendly. The salon was clean and I think the staff is just really great. They’ve been there for a while and then always tells you that the place is being run well!!! Thank you Ali!!!

Christopher is the best stylist ever! He matched my existing color and high lights perfectly. The cut is gorgeous. I will have my hair styled by Christopher again. I highly recommend Christopher.

Very disappointed with how they handled the situation. I went in for a color correction already being mostly color removed so I was expecting to leave a lot lighter. My hair doesn't look terrible, but it's not what I asked for as it looks like my roots were the only thing highlighted. I was also quoted at $160 and was told the only thing that would bring up the price is if I wanted a haircut at the end of the service. I did not want a haircut, and I ended up being charged $300. Not once was I told that the price would go up, if I had known it would be that much I would have got up and left seeing as im a minor living paycheck to paycheck and can't afford that. When I reached out, I was offered nothing but a k-18 treatment, or to tone my hair back to its original color, which would have done nothing to fix what I was upset about. Reasonably, I asked for a partial refund seeing as 1. My hair isnt what i asked for and 2. I was lied to about the price. They completely refused to give me any sort of refund, and I did not receive one apology. Very unprofessional and very disappointed with how this was dealt with.

Extremely disappointed in the customer service! Add on charges for extra color of $30 for very small area. Was told management would call me too discuss it but no one ever called. Way too expensive for the services I received.

I’ve been getting my brows waxed and tinted for about 5 years now, and the very first person I saw walking in as a 19 year old with no prior experience in this service was Shawna. Shawna is a phenomenal beauty technician as she tested different colors and shapes with me and talked me through the process in a lot of detail so that I knew exactly what was going on and such. She even asked after each coloration of I liked the color and shape or if I wanted to go darker or lighter next time. She puts a lot of care and attention to detail into her work and holds the customer’s skin care above all else. She even takes into account how certain shapes look on facial features and offers feedback to how it would look even better and she’s always right! My brows always fit my face so well! Aside from that, she is always very friendly and easy to talk to. Thank Shawna! There was also a time when Shawna wasn’t at the salon and I wanted to say thank you to the other technicians as well for also giving me phenomenal tints and waxes over the years. Management is very unprofessional her name is Heather… this place has gone down hill. I’ve been going to this salon for almost 18 years, I have been a loyal customer. Then I was disrespected by Heather saying I am a problem customer that she has received feedback from several employees there that I am never happy with my hair and that is so not true. I had an issue 1 time many months ago because I left there and the sides of my hair by my face was blue and was told just to wash it and that will come out and it’s toner that was left in my hair. That bothered me because the last thing I wanted to do was go home and wash and blow dry etc. this last time I was there I had to see a different stylist her name was Jaime. Something wasn’t right with her she kept asking me the same questions over and over again and I thought maybe she has a memory issue so I kinda felt bad for her but she is young but then she started making rude comments saying things you shouldn’t say the first time you meet a customer that’s when I thought she was under the influence with something. Very dark energy! I left there with my hair having that blue tent on the sides I wasn’t happy and was trying to see if this can get fixed because I had a special occasion that evening and I couldn’t go looking like I did. So out of almost 18 years of going there I had less than a handful of times where I voiced a concern. I don’t think I’m a problem customer!!! If I had as many issues that HEATHER claimed I did why would I drive all that way there to get my hair done every 8 weeks for almost 18 years?? There are so many salons out here. HEATHER was so unprofessional with no compassion to her customers. The customer is never right as they clearly don’t care. I have been going to Cynthia there all this time. Heather states that she has received a lot of feedback from the staff there including Cynthia which is hard to believe. I’m still shaking my head with what happened as it really bothered me. Just be aware if you go to this salon and get services and have an issue with something don’t voice your concerns because they don’t care and the customer is never right in their eyes! They will rather push a loyal customer that has been going there for 18 years away than making a simple issue right. This use to be a very nice and classy salon now it’s gone completely downhill since the previous owners sold it. Management needs to be replaced asap before this company loses all their customers. If I could give zero stars I would! I never leave reviews but this time I felt the urgency too!!! BE AWARE
