I took my 18 month old son for his first haircut. I’m also a first time mom, so this was my first time taking a child for a haircut. Booking online was very simple. When we arrived, my son loved using the small indoor playset before his appointment. Carletta was his hair stylist and did a great job making him feel comfortable. She cut his hair quickly and well, and also shared some tips with me. Our son left with a smile on his face. It went so well, we bought the 5-haircut package.

My grandsons first cut, she didn’t listen well showed a picture I told her trim top wanted his curls still but to do the back and sides. Seats looked really warn not like pics. Didn’t even try to talk to him at all or acknowledge him, he’s two I had to pretty much hold him look at him keep him from moving. Didn’t offer bubbles, suckers or anything to help at all. By end of it his curls were gone, I was covered in hair , didn’t offer his first haircut hair or anything. He’s a handsome 2yr old but not what we asked for at all, should of went to a regular barber, my grandson is mixed maybe they just don’t know different hair types, also I work with children everyday as a photographer not impressed with how they are with children at all.

The workers are always so friendly and patient with my little ones. Breanna did an amazing job with my daughter’s curly hair. I was at my wits end with how unruly and tangled her hair can be and asked about products and tips for hair care. I have to say Breanna knows her stuff! She showed me the products she used, gave my little girl some adorable layers, and her hair hasn’t had a tangle ever since. Highly recommend!

I've been a cookie cutters customer for more than 4 years... and today I had the WORST experience ever... this Brittney cut my son ear because he was "moving" please is a kids salon, of course kids move... he start crying and of course I asked her to stop.. she didn't finish the cut and I still pay the whole kids cut

Don’t bother making an appointment, you’ll get service after walk-ins, it was also unclean play equipment that doesn’t appear it’s been sanitized in ages. Edited - this was arriving 5-10 minutes early to an appointment, where a family walked in, asking if they had availability (as a walk in, not as the business owner reply suggests below), which they were told it would be an hour from current time. The barbers then took the walk-in immediately after finishing previous appointments. We were then asked to wait, and when we asked why they took the walk in ahead of our time (now past), the barber responded asking ‘if we had somewhere to be, else we need to wait’.

Absolutely a wonderful experience overall! I got all three of my daughter's haircuts from two different women, who were both very sweet, professional and thorough. They even took the time to braid my daughter's hair. I will absolutely be back, we are all very pleased! Excellent service, atmosphere and experience. I highly recommend!

Racist facility. Had our kids wait for 1.5 hours with an appointment, and then the rude stylist said I canceled your appointment. Shocked that a business like this condones such racial behavior

I have had my toddlers hair cut at many other salons (including another CC location) and this was, by far, one of our best experiences to date! First off, I called right at opening time around 10am and asked if there was any chance they had any morning openings. The woman on the phone was friendly and told me they could get us in at 11:45. Perfect! Our stylist was Kristi and she was lovely! You could quickly tell she has worked with for some time, as she talked to and played with my 2.5 year old so well! She had toys ready to distract him, joked with him about tickling his neck when she was using the trimmer. She was able to make conversation with me, too, which I'm sure is not easy when working with a wiggly toddler! On top of a great experience, we love the cut too! Would highly recommend this location and Kristi as your stylist!

I probably won't be going back. We had an appointment and still had to wait, the place was packed and so loud. I would not recommend taking a little one for a first haircut here... too chaotic. The lady did not take her time at all and didn't ask how short we wanted to go or anything. She was just in a hurry and pretty much buzzed him.

Absolutely amazing for baby’s first haircut. They have special toddler chairs that look like cars to entertain them, as well as a small tv at each station. They were fast and friendly and made sure my one year old was happy and agreeable before cutting his hair. We will absolutely be back. Breanna was great!

Horrible experience! I watched a stylist escalate and mock an autistic child then after my child was seated he was told to get up from the chair because another child wanted to sit there. Why was that an option? The seat was occupied. Two minutes before that, our stylist had asked us to pick out a chair while she finished her current client. This person was a walk in and we had been waiting. Clearly need some sensitivity training and staff clean up. The owner did call me so I’m hoping something will be done.

My 3 year old was SO excited to get her first “real” haircut here today. Nae did an amazing job with her and was so kind and gentle with her haircut. She also did 4 cute little French braid/twists which my daughter absolutely loves. Thank you, Nae for making my daughter’s first salon haircut a good memorable one.

Been taking my son here for over a year. We see Nae every time. She's super nice and patient with my son as well as other kids! My son always looks forward to sitting in the tractor for his haircut.

We've taken the kids here before and they've always done an ok job. The lady at I think the carmel location took more time with my daughters hair and even did a nice braid on it where as the lady here was done in just a few minutes. The Hamilton town center store is NOT a walk in friendly store. We were there just two or three weeks ago and my son was the only one getting cut at the time. A man walked in with his daughter asking about getting his daughter's hair cut. Had similar hair to my daughters. The other lady that had done my daughters so fast was just standing around. She acted upset to this man that he would just do a walk in and proceeded to schedule him an hour and a half later. So she went back to standing around doing nothing. Pretty sure her name was Carletta. The whole time the other one was cutting my son's hair the both of the employees were bashing this guy for having the nerve to come in and Rey to get his daughters hair cut. It was really awkward. My wife and I were looking at each other like this is weird. The whole time my son was getting his hair cut no one came in. She would have had more than enough time to cut this man's daughter's hair. Tried to find the guy as we were leaving but couldn't. They weren't very professional especially Carletta. They weren't very professional especially that Carletta. Better experience at the carmel one

Breanna did a great job cutting my sons hair! She was very professional and patient. When my son started getting antsy she offered him two suckers and a toy to hold . Even with him wiggling, she still got the job done and was very gentle . Definitely will be back!

I took my daughter in for a bang trim. Two stars bc I should’ve known better than to try to take the cheap route. She had side bangs that needed trimmed and before I knew it, they were straight across and blunt. I asked the stylist to thin them out and instead of going in with her sheers, she took thinning sheers. I should’ve just waited until I could’ve gotten into a salon vs great clips for kids. Thank goodness hair grows. I really didn’t feel comfortable saying anything at the time because I didn’t want my daughter to feel insecure or have a bad experience towards future haircuts. Plus, the damage was already done and I should’ve trusted my gut that told me to just cancel the appointment. I paid, was polite and tipped. Lesson learned, we will not be back. I won’t name the stylist bc I don’t think that’s appropriate but she really could use some better communication and consultation skills along with more advance techniques. My daughter looks like Lord Farquad and I’m thankful for hair clips and headbands while we wait for it to grow out.

I’ve taken my toddler here twice, the first time was with Autumn and the second time was with Nae. We had a great experience each time and I would recommend both stylists with my whole chest!

They always do a great job with our 3 year old sons hair! He is always so excited to watch the tvs and sit in the cool seats. They are very patient and very good at getting a toddler to cooperate!

We’ve never taken our son anywhere other than here for haircuts. The stylists are understandable and able to make wiggly kids hair look good. They always have a few movies on and can restart if needed. Lots of chair options. Suckers at the end and a tiny play area in the waiting room. It can be difficult to get a haircut if they are booked solid online and it’s near a holiday/back to school. I do like their online option it’s a nice feature to see when we can get in. Hoping HTC fixes their play area in the middle at that location soon, makes haircut bribery easier 😉
