I had the most amazing experience with Grace Ella. I had some hard times recently, but she was able to make me feel fabulous again. I have a lot of hair, but she took her time to make sure my end result was exactly what I asked for. I got my haircut and highlighted and I am super thankful I chose Grace Ella to help me!

Jackie is absolutely amazing! I have very thick hair and she has a strong expertise in cutting thick hair. Her highlights are also beautiful, multi-dimensional and very natural looking. I can’t emphasize enough how much I recommend her!

Every service I’ve ever gotten at Cheeky has been a 10/10 and my daughter and son have both gotten haircuts that they loved too! The staff is knowledgeable and you can tell that they really love what they do.

Andrew did a great job with my color and cut! I asked a lot due to an unfortunate experience at another salon. He was so careful to make sure he understood what I was looking for. My hair looks and feels amazing! I also loved the feel of the salon itself.

I recently moved from LA to Grand Rapids and was anxious about finding a new hair stylist and salon that could match my freak (as the kids say) until I sat down in Alejandro's chair at Cheeky Strut. Since my cut—I kid you not—I have been stopped over a dozen times by delivery drivers, baristas, strangers on the street, and neighbors in my building telling me how much they love my hairstyle. And, I do too! On top of a iconic cut, I was blown away by how kind, friendly, attentive, and informative Alejandro was through every step. He took his time to show me how to style it at home and which products will keep the volume poppin'. It was nothing but high-touch gesture after gesture that made my experience at Cheeky top-tier and so memorable. I can't recommend enough. Literally about to book all this year's appointments before word gets out! Thanks, babes, for welcoming this transplant with open arms and top-notch service.

I worked with Cheeky Strut for my September wedding last year, and they are amazing! Paige did my hair and Rachel did my makeup. I was able to do a vision with them beforehand which really helped me nail down likes/dislikes for my perfect wedding day look. They had some salon construction going on during the time of my wedding, so they were actually able to come to our hotel suite for hair & makeup, which made our wedding day that much more smooth! Lindsey Rae was also amazing and so easy to work with. Thank you ladies for a wonderful experience and for making me feel so insanely beautiful on my big day!

This was my first time visiting. I just needed a trim and Izzy Lamers, did a Fabulous job. She paid attention to my hair type, inquired what I wanted through every step and was very detailed on her cutting. Definitely returning, just made her my new stylist.

Absolutely love Cheeky. I’ve been to most of their stylists, and they all take so much pride in their work (understandably)! Regularly, I see Summer for hand tied extensions and blonding, Katie S for K-tip extensions, and Hannah for sugar hair removal! Hannah’s sugar wax experience is the most pain-free I’ve ever experienced.

Amazing! I’ve been dealing with postpartum hair loss and I’ve been nervous and embarrassed to get it fixed up. My (curly) hair went from uneven and embarrassing to wear in public to layered and styled in a way that made me confident! The name of my stylist was Gracie.

Anna did hair and makeup for my wedding, and did my stepdaughters’ hair as well. We all looked amazing and were so happy with our experience. The vision appointment to test hair and makeup ideas before the wedding was fun and Anna was open to sharing ideas about how to make my look just right. Lindsey Rae was very helpful in coordinating the bridal services and prompt in communicating. All around great service.

I followed Abby from her days as a student at Douglas J. Aveda school to Cheeky Strut and I am always SO amazed by her work. She has managed to keep up with my crazy requests to change my dark brown hair into bright blonde, year round. I swear it looks better every time she works her magic; I leave her chair absolutely amazed at her work every time. I will recommend Abby every single day!!!

I just moved to Grand Rapids, and I made a Facebook post asking for recommendations for a salon/hairdresser. Somebody responded and referred me to Alejandro at Cheeky Strut, and I was able to make an appointment for the next day. The experience was incredible to say the least. He went above and beyond to course out how I can get the look I wanted. The attention to detail was phenomenal. He also did an eyebrow wax and spent extra time making sure they had a perfect shape. 10/10 would recommend. Everyone at the salon is friendly and it’s so incredibly clean. Check it out!

I love the atmosphere, artistry, and eclectic style that Cheeky Strut embodies. Jessie is always wonderful with my hair, very knowledgeable and lovely to spend the day with. She talked about my goals, gave great professional insight and exceeded expectations. Hannah was very personable, refreshing and energetic. She knew exactly how to interpret my vision for a my first brow lamination. And I was so happy with the end result.

Katie did an amazing job color correcting my hair!! If you are a blonde who fell victim to the “cowboy copper” trend and looking for a stylist who can get you out, it is her! She was able to get me in before the holidays. She was realistic and open about options for my color situation, and also upfront about the pricing so you know from the beginning of the appt what to expect at checkout. She also saved the health of my hair, it looks so good now
