I don’t go anywhere else. Everyone here is fast and friendly as well as extremely talented. It’s hard to find good ethnic hair care in Utah and this salon does it all.

I love Chaltu’s salon! Chaltu has always cut my hair beautifully! I always struggled finding someone to cut my curly hair but she always does it right gives wonderful suggestions as well! I’m so happy I found this salon and will continue to go!

We have been to Chaltu’s twice now and each time my daughter comes out so happy. She loves getting box braids. This time the hair we ordered didn’t make it on time so I made a frantic call to see if they had the same color and they did. Crisis averted and daughter was able to get the color she wanted.

My second time to the salon and not my last! Very happy with my service. Clean positive atmosphere very hands on and attentive. The prices are the best with the service to match..had 3 talented ladies do my box braids in 2 hrs very happy girl to be in and out with the best install.

Chaltu does a great job cutting and braiding my hair. My hair is straight and soft but the braids she gives me always stay in for weeks. Thank you!

Edit: I've not had the chance to work with the owner and the owner has reached out to me to try to rectify the situation. I've lost a significant amount of hair due to the poor handling of my hair by the stylist here. They didn't put conditioner on my hair when washed, they barely touched the nape of my neck during the wash. During the blow dry they didn't put product on my natural hair. They did NOT detangle it before braiding. I asked for this she waved me off and said it's fine. I heard her ripping my hair as she braided. She went back with the drying brush during this to try to detangle and added more heat on my already dry and brittle hair and it still wasn't detangled. I should've walked out, but I had undone hair and needed something. I'm heartbroken over how much hair I've lost, about half my length, I've been growing my hair since 2019. Between 2 stylists in Utah because of their poor service I've had to endure hair damage and loss. All I wanted was a protective style.

We drove about an hour in afternoon traffic to make our appointment at Chaltu's and once there, we were told the stylist who cuts hair wasn't there. I already had 2 emails from the salon confirming my appointment for that day and then they gave me an excuse that they hadn't seen my booking. A booking I made 3 weeks in advance.

5/5! My sons and I went there and got all their haircuts; they said it was relaxing when she cut their hair. The hair quality is excellent. Good price and great results. Chaltu is also very nice to her customers. A must-go hair salon.

I called early on in the day on 10/12 to ask about a walk in because my daughter had cut her hair on her birthday before we had to leave to do other things and it was a total disaster! However the lady said she could fit my daughter in for a walk in. When we got there my daughter was super nervous but the ladies made her feel calm and happy about her first official hair cut! Thank you so much for your help!

Needed my hair done for a wedding and had called around town to a few places. No one could get me in that day. Called Chaltus Salon and she saw me within 20 minutes. Luckily her next appointment was running late and she said she would try to fit me in. She did an incredible job! Took her time even though I was a last minute walk in. She redid a couple braids just to make sure everything was even and lined up. Her next appointment showed up just as she was finishing up. My hair looked amazing and my finance loved it! Calm atmosphere, well priced and the service was great. I can’t speak more highly of this place. Will definitely come again in the future.

This place is super nice and open. It has a homey atmosphere. The owner is super nice and greets you as you walk in. Super friendly and clean. 10/10 would recommend going there for your haircuts and anything else you need.
