My favorite place to go to get my hair done!!! Very warm and kind people; Jay recently gave me the most beautiful balayage🤍I’m usually very quiet when I go to the salon, but here I was actually comfortable and we talked and laughed a lot….Will definitely be back soon!! I forgot to mention how easy it was to book and appointment via text…especially being that you’re talking to a person and not a robot

When I first went to Capelli Salon last November, I had long hair and wanted to cut it short, like a men’s haircut and style. I was extremely nervous about the decision but capelli salon made the entire experience comfortable and welcoming! My stylist Jay is truly a genius and knows how to take your idea and make it a reality! Will be continuing to go to Capelli!

Alison Shimmel is the manicurist I see and she is wonderful! I followed her to Capelli Salon when "Smooch" in EGR closed. She does regular manicures and gel polish manicures. Alison is very flexible- sometimes I want polish and sometimes I don't. I would recommend the Capelli Salon and Alison to anyone who wants a warm and welcoming place.

Capelli is absolutely my go-to salon from here on out. I drove two hours to check them out and my experience there made it totally worth it. Jay is an actual hair wizard with magic hands. I do not know how she managed to totally take my vision straight out of my brain and make it reality, but she did. I have CRAZY thick hair that’s nearly black and she managed to not only lighten it without brassy-ness, she took so much weight off of it! I cant even imagine going to another salon and I SINCERELY recommend Capelli if you care about your hair.

I have to say I’m really disappointed. My cut with Jay went really well. I liked the atmosphere and felt she did a really great job. I had tried for awhile to schedule a second haircut, but could never find a time that worked with my schedule. They were running a promo last week so I was actually able to get in- and at good price. I don’t know what went wrong, but it felt like an entirely different person cutting my hair. Seemed like she was upset that I didn’t want to go through a drastic change. I had a commitment that made it so that I couldn’t, and I tried talking about what we could do at the next appointment, but it just seemed like she was annoyed with me. I won’t be booking here again.

Jay is amazing! I’ve been going to Capelli for a couple of years now and it’s always such a great experience. The salon is modern and the attention from the staff is excellent. It’s the first salon and Jay is the first stylist that I schedule my next appointment before I leave because I love how my hair turns out every time! Can’t recommend both Jay and Capelli enough!!

I’ve gone to Brooke twice now & after feeling like I’d never find a stylist who really took the time to understand my hair and what I wanted as a client I finally found Brooke (or really she found me when she booked my picnic services over the summer) but I really couldn’t be happier with how incredible my hair looks every time Brooke works here magic. She is seriously the sweetest person & such a talented artist! I cannot recommend her enough to anyone & everyone. Capelli is affordable & the service is seriously the best in Grand Rapids. You won’t be disappointed!
