I had a very unpleasant experience at the salon. The atmosphere and communication between myself and the stylist left me feeling uncomfortable sitting in her chair. I knew that I wasn’t going to get the color I originally wanted, which I accepted due to the condition of my hair not lightening mid strand. Rather than making me feel comfortable with the work she was doing and others helping her, I got to experience her frustration with me. I also was never shown the back of my hair and the mirror was exceptionally dirty with product. When I got home I noticed some mistakes made. The balayage was done poorly and there are obvious lines that were supposed to be blended in next to my face. Mistakes happens so I called the salon back and asked if she could fix the blending. I was informed by the stylist who did my hair that she was only approved by the owner to use color and no bleach to feather/ blend in the lines on my balayage. I’m extremely disappointed with how I was treated and that the owner of the salon does not stand behind his employees work. I’m pretty bummed about my hair but further more sad about how I was treated. One of the worst times spent at a salon. I was there from 1:30pm to 6:30pm.

I came here to get extension done. I pre-paid for the extensions waited a week and then they came in. Waited two days to shower and then showered. After the shower while drying my hair 6 pieces of hair extensions came out. 6!!. Do not go here to get tape in hair extensions. It’s not worth the money if they can’t even last 2 days!

I have been seeing Nikki at Cake Hair Salon for over 9 years. Just had my latest appt today and couldn’t be happier! We’ve gone through multiple hair colors, styles & even a location change over the years, and I’ve loved every appt. In fact, I love my salon appts so much, my husband decided to see Nikki for his haircuts as well! It’s a beautiful salon with great people. Can’t recommend it enough!

Katt Wilson was my stylist and did an absolutely phenomenal job. I will definitely keep coming back for any of my hair care needs, and Katt will be my regular stylist from now on.

Katt did SUCH an amazing job with my cut! She was so fun to talk to, and did such a thorough job walking me through everything and making sure I was happy with everything! I haven’t had a salon experience this great since long before covid! Katt you are the best, I truly can’t thank you enough! Such a great environment to be in, and I love the non-gendered pricing here, all are welcome :,)

I recently went to Cake Hair Salon for the first time and had the best experience! I hadn't been to an actual salon for quite some time and was anxious at first, BUT Cat put me at ease, and was the absolute best! Cat listened to what I wanted, but also guided my vision to something even better than I imagined. Can't wait to go back!

Wow. I’ve been searching long and hard for a great stylist to clean up my blonde highlights, and Jonesy totally took my breath away. Amazing technique, so much time and effort, and great conversation. Already booked with them again!

Alexandra absolutely changed the life of my hair. i have not gotten a professional cut in years, which has been horrible for my coily hair. she was quick to fix the damage i've done with at home haircut and dye! she was so sweet and also explained every step of the process with my hair. I will definitely be back!! 🫶🏻

Alexandra is so much fun! I left with the best haircut I've had in years. I basically just said "90's blowout with curtain bangs" and she took over and gave me exactly what I wanted! She kept the process enjoyable the whole time. 10/10 would recommend.

Encontré este lugar navegando por internet porque necesitaba hacerme un corte de cabello. Anteriormente había visitado otros lugares y siempre salía molesta porque mi cabello no quedaba como a mi me gustaba, pero en este lugar fue diferente , me encantó como cortaron mi cabello! La atención es de primera, son muy amables y tienen una paciencia de ángel! Hoy fui a pintarme el cabello y quedé muy contenta con el resultado! Recomiendo mucho este lugar!

I was so pleased with my appointment with this salon!!! The atmosphere was so pleasant, the sinks and hair washing station was so comfortable and relaxing. And the stylist I had, Katelynn was so amazing and she did such an amazing job. I’m so pleased with my cut and style and I highly recommend this whole place!!!!

Took my son to get highlights with Alexandra and she was amazing! Very personable and professional. She took great care of him and made sure he was absolutely happy with the color. She made the whole process so fun not to mention her work was so good! We are super happy with the result and will be going back to her for sure!

Very happy with my experiences as a new client at this salon! Was initially attracted by the accepting/inclusive environment, and now I continue coming in for the convenient location and hours, professional operation, reasonable pricing, and, of course, excellent hair cuts and styling by Katelyn! She recently did my first ever dye job and blew me away with the results. Thanks for accommodating my vision so beautifully!

A friend of mine asked me to help him; he needed a haircut and knows the owner and wanted him to cut his hair. I took my friend to this shop and the owner cut his hair. The owner told me that the price was $36 however, the owner charged me $38. When I got home I realised this when I looked at the receipt, I have attached a photo. The owner of this store is dishonest. I do not trust him. I am not going to bring my friend back to this place ever ever again. I will be filing a complaint with the state. I don't like dishonest businessmen.
