I like this little salon, it’s the first place in Salt Lake (of 3 or 4 that I’ve tried) that actually did what I asked for to my hair. Katie is great and is easy to spend time with. It felt cool to support a business that encourages their staff to learn about the products that they use, so much as sending them to Italy to learn about Davines (and farming)!

Katie is the only hair stylist I have had in my life that I don’t have to go home and fix my hair after seeing her. Seriously soooo great. Also, if you need advice on curl care she is your gal. This salon has such a cute atmosphere and they really can do your hair up great. Katie also is great at bringing bold styles and colors to life. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I just had my first visit to the Butterfly Jac Salon and had such an awesome experience! I also had the absolute pleasure of having Megan as my stylist. Not only is she very sweet and kind, but she is so talented and did a perfect job trimming my bangs. I’m very picky about who I allow to cut my hair. I had a very traumatic experience as a young girl when a lady at a salon chopped my long hair off above my shoulders when my mom took me in and instructed her that I just wanted it trimmed a few inches. After that day, I only got my hair cut from people I knew personally that had gone to beauty school and usually just did private jobs…so usually my hair cuts were few and far between. Since moving away from home and came to Utah, hair cuts became even more rare until they became absolutely necessary. All the places I’ve been to until now have been mediocre at best…they weren’t horrible but also unable to trim my bangs into a proper swoop. I just moved to the Liberty Park neighborhood and was desperate for a trim. I went to the Butterfly Jac Salon because of convenience and Megan happened to be my stylist and like I said-she trimmed and shaped my bangs perfectly! She listened to what I asked for and knew exactly what to do. I’ve never had a better haircut and she has made me a customer for life! I would absolutely recommend her and this salon to everyone every single time. All around the best place I’ve gotten my hair done. Thank you so much Megan for taking care of me!

I've never walked out of this salon with a bad cut, color, or attitude. The women here are top notch in professionalism, attitude, and the craft of hair. I always feel relaxed and welcome in their hair salon.

Katie is my go to stylist. She is very kind, fun and great at her job. I am always changing my hair based on my mood and she walks me through the decision process and what will look best. Plus she is just an all around good person.

Megan did my dreads and I couldn't be more happy on how they turned out. She was so informative on giving me directions on how to maintain them for the life of the dreads. She knew all the techniques that would work for my hair and told me which techniques to stay away from. Not only did Megan do a killer job on my hair but she was also a joy to talk to throughout the whole process. I also got the best local products at Butterfly Jac Salon to keep my hair tight and keep my scalp healthy. Was thrilled that I could get both my dreads and the supporting product in such a darling salon.

I had accompanied my friend during her salon visit and was truly impressed with the care and attention she received (as well as her amazing pixie cut). When I finally decided to do something with my hair, I made an appointment. The stylists are all so sweet, attentive, and professional. They ask all a lot of questions to ensure that you get the exact hairstyle you want. Highly recommend!

Megan is the best!! Whether its just a haircut or it's an extensive color correction, she knows her stuff. She is professional and easy to talk to. She is thorough and asks a lot of questions to make sure you are comfortable, and know what to expect. I highly recommend her and Butterfly Jac salon. Thanks for being great!

Megan’s experience, knowledge, and ability to communicate hair-expectations and realities kept me devoted to her for the 10 years I lived in SLC, UT. She is amazing and I never experienced a disappointing outcome! I moved across the state over 3 years ago and am still looking for someone with half Megan’s ability.

Wow! Megan is amazing. She was thoughtful and very good at determining the exact style I wanted. I went from long hair to a pixie cut, and I couldn't be happier. Everyone here was skilled and friendly. This is the place if you are looking for a trusted stylist.
