320 dollars for braids that lasted a week, synthetic hair was used. Customer is terrible and they block and hide any honest reviews on social media. Don’t waste your money unless you like to give it away! Don’t go off of there Social Media either

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, & perfect hours to suit my schedule. I can go into the shop with an idea, or even a picture of a specific style, & Niki will have me leaving the shop, looking like the picture...I am paying for exactly what I asked for, & I'm always satisfied...She is awesome!

I booked an appointment for crochet braids with Niki. I was in and out within an hour and 15 minutes! I love how my hair turned out and my braids are not too tight.

I can’t speak enough on how amazing our experience was from the time we walked in to this outstanding establishment and seeing the finished outcome. The atmosphere was calming and very clean. My daughter wanted Butterfly braids for her prom. I had no clue. I search for a salon nearby and found the Braid Zone. Upon entering the establishments, I was greeted by this very pleasant person. Her name is Niki. I explained what we needed done and she was extremely accommodating. She explained the process, and set the appointment up online. Day of appointment, we were greeted and I was given a pickup time. Let me tell you something, Niki is awesome! My daughter looked like a princess! She understood the assignment and went above and beyond what I was expecting. If you are looking for a “professional” braider, with outstanding management skills, check Niki out.

I could not wait to do this review. Couldn’t do it on Booksy bc they blocked me 😂 TERRIBLE customer service. I scheduled 5-10 feed in braids $70+ I get there and admittedly I was running around so I didn’t get the chance to blow dry my hair as well as needed before going so I knew they were going to charge me extra for that no biggie. I show them the style I want they say they can’t do it due to parting. That’s fine I look for other braids all the styles I showed they said they could not do due to parting, stitch or them wanting to up charge me. So I’m like atp just give me a style that you can do that’s going to be the price range that I scheduled for I just wanted some braids I could keep in a week or 2 I wasn’t going to pay over $100 for some parts when the actual braids are straight back that’s bogus. The owner kept giving me push back so I said matter of fact let’s cancel. She then says she will work something out with me do my parts but I need to wait bc she was doing someone else’s head and she is the only one who can do the parts(the woman I was scheduled with could not) I said that’s fine but while I’m waiting I can go home get my hair blow dried as needed and come back. She says I will still have to pay a cancellation fee 😑 if we are working something out amongst ourselves why would I still need to pay a fee to the site. I understand the whole time thing but if you’re the owner Booksy is just a site you schedule service on. You dnt have to cancel if I’m coming back for service if we just agreed face to face. I wasn’t at fault I offered to get a lesser style hell 4 braids and she was still trying to charge me $70. The style descriptions as well as what services they do and do not provide are very vague online that’s how they get you. She just kept making it about the money and I’m no broke or cheap broad but ik what a few braids are worth. I said let’s just cancel it then bc the back and forth and the mouth was getting too much I was over it. So she cancels the appointment and the Booksy site didn’t pay her right away and she presses me to Zelle her the $35 cancellation fee after I told her that I just had changed my card information and it was probably delayed. I told her I didn’t want to Zelle her and then be charged twice from the booking site. Do you know this woman went back and forth with me over $35 and this is the owner by the way. I’m a classy honest woman so I zelled her and left. Soon as I got home why was I charged twice like I told her I would be smh was loud and WRONG then took 3days to send my Zelle back. Blocked me on Booksy right after. Don’t go here communication sucks, unprofessional bad attitude overpriced. I normally go to Abundant Creations but they were booked go there instead they give you want you want for a reasonable price without the extras. The energy was bad soon as I walked in this place tbh bt wanted to give it a try

I don’t usually do this, but I’m sooo disappointed. First, Stylist/owner was over 30mins late so I had to push back my next appointment. I booked natty faux locs style because I need long lasting styles due to my job but this style lasted about 2weeks max. The stylist/owner did not braid my hair underneath she just wrapped around my loose hair which caused locs to start sliding off (all over) week two! This should NOT HAPPEN for a style over $300! Another stylist started my hair in the back because she was late and she actually braided my hair underneath those few locs she did held up perfectly so it definitely makes a huge difference! Don’t waste your hard earned money on a BARE minimum stylist charging top dollar. I’m so disappointed I did!

I found Braided Zone environment to be invitingly comfortable with a boutique feel to it. It’s immaculately maintained. The owner is very professional but refreshingly polite. The service was great and my hair looked gorgeous. I highly recommend this place of business.

I was considering booking an appointment here because I saw the great reviews and high stars. However, when I called to get info on the cost and services the lady told me it's on the website. Even if that is the case, if I called you, give me the info I am asking for over the phone. And to top it off, it's not even a website it is an app you have to install. I was so upset with the customer service from the start, that I decided to go elsewhere.

I went here for the first time on the afternoon of 4/8/23. I made sure to call a few days before the appointment to verify the payment method (I was told cash), and I also changed the original service I had initially booked (from small knotless to medium ones). I did not see the business listed on the list of businesses within the plaza (maybe I missed it), so it was a bit annoying when trying to locate the establishment. I passed it initially, but was able to find it once I started driving through the plaza. When I walked in, I was not greeted immediately. The employees at the first station stared at me as if I had three heads. The owner finally said hello and directed me to sit at the second station. She had a nice attitude and was very warm. They got to work on my hair right away, which was refreshing. There was one employee who did about 1/2 of my head, then another joined who ultimately completed the remainder. It was shown to take three hours, but it ended up being about four hours and fifteen minutes, which is still not bad at all! It normally takes eight plus hours. My hair looked nice! Their medium size braids really are small, which is really great. I left a $20 tip. All in all, this was a positive experience. I did have some white residue by the time I arrived home, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed. I would return. My only advice to the owner would be to make sure your employees greet patrons upon walking in. It’s off putting walking into a business for the first time (or for the 100th time) and not being properly greeted when you’re paying a decent amount of money. Customer service is literally the foundation of every business. You would not be there without the financial support of your customers! Work on it.

Literally got buttery locs which was nice went home with my head hurting for a week which was cool because it was worth the look however when it was time to take them out I had such a hard time taking it out some of my real hair was braided and some of it was wrap around the fake locs my hair means the most to me and me having to literally rip my hair out to get it out is ridiculous I paid almost 300 for this look never again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I had booked an appointment for goddess inner feed ins for 8/24 @0930. Prior to booking I had looked up what they were and i guess what I was shown was stitch braids but feed ins was under the caption. Fast forward to the day of appointment. I walk in the shop everyone was warm and welcoming! Great atmosphere! I showed the braider ( wish I would have gotten her name) the style and she politely let me know that those were stitch braids by the like parting. So I let her know if they didn’t offer I was going to have to cancel no biggie (because why would I pay for a service I truly don’t want). So she was like well hang on let me call the boss Ms. Nikki & this is where the rating dropped from 5 to 3. Nikki was rude. She & i quote “what you showed were stitch braids everyone knows that” rudely, then proceeded to be rude and say and even what you booked still wasn’t close. So I let her know you don’t know what i know or how often I get my hair done. For all she knew this could be my first go round so instead of her rude approach she could have said unfortunately the style you requested is something called stitch braids and we do not offer those but she didn’t. Then she again rudely said well you’re gonna have to pay a cancellation fee. Which ok no biggie. But how she handled was unprofessional and rude. Again ladies in the shop at the time were absolutely amazing energy high and welcoming. I would recommend people there due to the ladies kindness and I hope nobody else had an unprofessional unpleasant interaction with the owner like I did.

These ladies made it possible (the weather was bad) for me to get my hair braided for a funeral I needed to attend that was five hours away. I appreciate them going above and beyond. I have been going to Niki for a couple of years. Ive tried other places and no one compares. Her and her team are amazing, professional and highly skilled. If you are looking for a place to get beautified but not spend all day the Braided Zone is where it’s at. It’s also a beautiful clean shop as well. Niki is a skilled professional, but the last time I went to her shop, another woman was assigned to do my hair. She was beyond rude. I was running late, called the shop to inform them and was prepared to pay the late fee. I didn't realize someone else was doing my hair and it took me a minute to find a picture of the style and technique I wanted. The woman complained the whole time. The last straw was when she said "I have other things to do". What else could she have to do at my appointment? I left. The shop charged me a no-show fee on top of my late fee which was more than half the cost for my style. Clearly, this is what at she was after, a large fee without actually doing my hair. Go somewhere else.
