Erin Pierce has cut and colored my hair for a few years now and I have since moved to Shelby, but continue to make the hour and 15 minute trip because she’s absolutely worth it. Erin is not only a talented professional who listens carefully and performs amazing feats with color and scissors, she’s also a caring, thoughtful, cool and fun person who I look forward to seeing and chatting with every time I’m in the salon. Speaking of which, Bottega Salon is a lovely little gem close to downtown with a great vibe.

Long haired beauties: beware of a scissor happy stylist here. I tried out this salon because I like the location and I am looking for a new salon in GR. I arrived with elbow-length hair, and left with shoulder-length hair. The first thing I said to the stylist was that I needed a "trim" and "didn't want to lose much length." She proceeded to grab a handful of the longest back section and chop that off - maybe a 3-4 inch section and I thought that WAS the haircut, and that she would just be cleaning it up / evening it out a bit after washing out my color (I've often had my hair cut dry as it is very long/thick/course and this tends to work well). However, after washing me out, stylist just went wild shortening my very long hair - and to add insult to injury it's even shorter in the back! By the time I spoke up and said "I'm concerned about losing much more length here" - it was too late. She reassured me that she "gave me lots of layers" - which I did not want and did not ask for. I left in tears after arguing with her, where she called the among of length removed "subjective". Just no. Half a foot of hair + is not a "trim" on any planet. Writing this review to remind women with very long hair to police new stylists and not let down your guard for a second. I felt like I was safe, because she had marveled about how lovely my extra long, thick, voluminous hair was while applying my color. It's really sad that she decided to take it away from me, after I told her specifically that I wanted to keep it. Now I have big boxy hair that will take lots of styling to look decent, and the length will take SEVERAL YEARS to grow back, if it ever does. SMDH.

Erin Pierce was amazing. Did wonders with my hair. Im platinum blonde again ❤️ Ill be coming back for sure!! The salon is a warm inviting environment, stylish and upbeat. Check it out!!

I go to Erin at Bottega Salon for all of my hair cut/color and event hair needs. I always have an amazing experience when I am there. The entire staff is so friendly and the location is beautiful and comforting. I would recommend Bottega salon and specifically Erin for anyone looking to receive quality hair care.

I and two of my kids (all of us LGBTQ+) have seen Reba and absolutely adore her. Originally a recommendation from a friend for my first salon vibrant color treatment for a concert. The color and style came out perfect and Reba is personable and engaging. My oldest had their first salon cut with her and didn't realize there could be such a thing as a good cut experience. She was treated respectfully and with affirmation, Reba provided tips for using styling tools and offered personal instruction if she ever wanted help with how to style and care for her hair. My youngest just got a refresh of their cut and went bright blue! They love it! There is usually plenty of parking, the interior is open, beautiful, and relaxing. Highly recommend.

I love Bottega Salon. It's beautiful and spacious and the staff is wonderful. The salon is in a really cool repurposed train station building that you have to see to believe. I moved out of state for a job several years ago and still come back a few times per year to get my hair done here because I love it (and especially stylist Erin Pierce) that much.

I’ve had haircuts from Cindy for 20+ years and she always is amazing!! The atmosphere at Bottega is so calming and relaxing, I love taking the time to go there and have my hair washed, cut and styled. Friendly receptionist and wonderful people!! I've recently started going to the peach room to see Nikki, and she is AMAZING!!! Her sugaring skills are the best and she makes you feel so comfortable and at ease while she works. The hydro jelly mask is the best. I've also had facials from her, and it leaves me feeling so clean and refreshed. I love her. <3 10/28/2021: Every time I go into Bottega it’s a wonderful experience. Friendly, welcoming staff and a relaxed atmosphere makes for an amazing time. Keep it up, cannot say enough good things. Also, km shampoo sets are amazing and I love them!!! They make my hair feel so soft and refreshed.

Bottega is an amazing salon for both men and women. There are so many stylists that are all so talented, there is always someone that can fit me in. They do excellent men’s cuts and have such an amazing environment to be in. I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a new stylist!

Erin Danielski has been our stylist for years and recently moved to Bottega. Salon practices all current COVID protocols. Everyone is very nice and helpful - very friendly and inviting. Located in gorgeous historical building and easily accessible with onsite parking. We've been very happy with Erin's relocation.
