UPDATE: 01/17/24 I called and made an appointment and a few minutes later received an email requiring a $40 non- refundable deposit, stating this is their new policy. I cancelled and will not be going back. I understand no shows but it should on an individual basis per a client with a history instead of all clients. I desperately needed a repair cut and Danyelle went beyond my expectations and created a style with her magical scissors! She is a true professional who listened to my haircut history and she knew exactly just what to do. Finally what I have been wanting and I am so happy and thankful to her. The salon has an awesome atmosphere and I look forward to seeing her again.

Bonitas Salon is the best! Situated in downtown Staunton, and salon is fashionably decorated, clean, and professional. The hair specialists are friendly and very knowledgeable. They are also great with kids - even boy hair cuts! Highly recommend Bonitas!

Had my first haircut here today with Danyelle. She did a PHENOMENAL job! It's been a while since my last cut since I'm new to the area and was nervous about going to a new stylist. She cut all my damaged ends and layered my hair beautifully to allow my curls to do their thing. She was incredibly kind, a great conversationalist, and made me feel beautiful with my new cut. Not to mention the price for a cut is the best I've seen in years. Thank you so much! Can't wait to come back!

Oh my god. I am speechless. Ana is a hair wizard. She has cut my hair twice now and both times I have been blown away. This is the best my hair has looked, EVER! If you have curly / wavy hair she does the BEST layers and I’ve been getting compliments for days. Plus she’s the sweetest and the whole shop is filled with the kindest people you’ll ever meet. THANK YOU ANA!

Ana (I believe it was) did an amazing job on my hair. Very friendly and accommodating of my service dog. Did a wonderful job cutting my hair, making beautiful layers that framed my face perfectly and styled it as well. The other lady that was there was also incredibly kind and cheery.

I had a wonderful experience getting my hair washed, cut and styled by Ana. She was so kind and patient--she helped me think through decisions and answered all my questions about care and products. The cut and style were exactly what I was hoping for and I will definitely be back!

I use Bonitas Salon for everything! For my family, they have done childrens and toddlers haircuts and are so patient with my boy. The owner has a toddler that's super sweet and sometimes around. They're the only ladies I trust with my own hair cut and color! And, they've taken care of my husband's unruly curly hair too. I'm a photographer, and I bring all my brides to Bonitas for hair and makeup for their engagement sessions. They nail it every time, no matter the skin and hair type. Serena did a full highlight and trim on my hair and it looks absolutely stunning, I’ll get my hair done by her as long as I live in the valley. She was amazingly sweet and personable and did exactly what I wanted, it looks absolutely amazing! The salon is so sweet too, very good energy throughout and owned by women. Love.

Sophia and her team are not only great at hair and makeup but professional and fun! We hired them to come to our venue to help myself (bride) and a handful of bridesmaids get ready. We had a variety of skin tones and hair textures and everyone turned out stunning. Also can confirm the hair and makeup held up well all day throughout a beautifully, chaotic day. Highly recommend!
