I took my 10 yr old twin daughters here to get a Silk Press. The stylist Kim, explained how to maintain their hair for longevity of the style. The press lasted for almost 4 wks!! We will definitely be back!

I had the pleasure of visiting this salon on the 3rd of January and I will be coming back. I booked twists (natural hair) and a trim with Kim. Excellent customer service and the hairstyle was super cute. Price varies by length and really reasonable.

Kim is a miracle worker! She helped fix my hair from shreds even when i came in without an appointment. I Have been going to her ever since. She gives me good recommendations and helps me learn more about my natural hair type. Great attitude and mind set. Kim is your girl!

5 Stars. My natural hair was struggling so bad and I was devastated. Fortunately I was blessed to find Dee through StyleSeat. I explained all of my concerns and issues to her and she had me come in the very next day and completely transformed my entire look! She offered me grace, understanding, compassion, and affirmations to leave me feeling 10x more beautiful than I did before she touched my head. I will gladly come back to her. Thanks again Ms Dee 😊

I went to Body & Soul because I decided to do the big chop after suffering some hair loss due to stress. I received a topnotch hair and scalp treatment. I also received a Professional cut and Fabulous color. I Absolutely Love it and I receive so many compliments. The salon is top-tier and the staff are wonderful. It's a warm and inviting atmosphere. Body & Soul checks all the boxes. It's a 10 out of 10.

Body and Soul Hair Salon, LLC is exceptional.Easily one of the best salons in New York City. It is the meeting of expectation and reality. Expert stylist, D., is committed to not only executing your desired style right from the image but also coaches you on hair care during the style. Wonderful time efficient service (quick). Impeccable attention to detail (thorough), respectful service (no drama), and luxurious, safe, and comfortable salon. TLDR; Body and Soul Hair Salon is the salon you wish every other one was.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dee for a weave. I couldn't be happier with the results! She took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and was meticulous with the installation of my weave. The atmosphere in the salon was welcoming and relaxing and I felt completely at ease throughout the entire appointment. My hair looks and feels amazing, and I've received so many compliments! Kimmy has done my hair for fifteen years! She’s not only an expert in hair care and styling, she takes the time to explain what your individual needs are while making sure YOU get what you want also. As a natural girl, I can still get a ton of different styles at their salon and I never have to worry. Kimmy always makes sure my hair is healthy and I leave with a hairstyle better than what I was asking for!

I am completely blown away by the service and attention to detail. A great atmosphere with amazing staff! I got the Keratin treatment with to a trim by Miss Dee and absolutely loved it. My hair is getting healthy and growing I found my forever hair stylist!!!!

It was such a wonderful experience. Ms Dee and the staff all have a beautiful aura surrounding them. I went to cut my hair for the first time ever!! Ms Dee was patient with me and made me feel so confidant and comfortable. It was clean and peaceful in the establishment, I love them, and I will be returning!!

Delsie is amazing! She was really flexible and willing to work with my schedule as I was coming in from out of town. I scheduled a hair cut and she did a beautiful job. Hair cuts can be scary, but she talked me through her process and made sure I was okay with the cut before I left. Great service! Would book again.

Had to switch places because my previous girl was too far and coordinating schedules was a hassle. Started coming here and I have not been disappointed yet. I have a short pixie haircut. Even started bringing my daughter who is very tender headed. She gets her hair braided and loves the care and attention that is given. Highly recommend 10/10. The salon atmosphere is nice and tranquil. They don’t overbook their clients either. Kim is my stylist but all the ladies in the salon are the best

I had an incredible experience at this salon. My hairstylist .. Dee was able to transform my life less hair. I have a lot of hair breakage and was provided with a hair treatment for my natural hair. Then given a gorgeous protective hairstyle to make me feel beautiful inside and out. She has extensive knowledge of the health of hair and talent to provide you with so many different hairstyles. I had to do a walk-in, and Kim was welcoming and accommodating. This is the first salon that was super clean , products smelled good , and great music choice. People were not on their phones talking the whole time. Kim is very knowledgeable of caring for any type of hair and a great conversationalist. Made me want to come back. When I am due for a hair color and style, I will be coming back to Kim. Thank you for such a pleasant experience .

I went to this salon and was styled by Dee. She did an amazing job. Pros: The salon is clean, spacious and modern The stylist care about your hair The cost for a style is market price. Cons The cost of a trim (clipping ends) is a little high I will definitely continue to go here. Dee is my new stylist.

Ms. Dee took my lifeless frizzy hair and turned it into a silky, shiny bob. My hair has never felt so soft and healthy! I booked the silk press combo from their google site and was able to get in quickly without a long wait. It was well worth the money! And they’ve gained a new client for life! Plus the salon is decorated beautifully and with modern decor, great music and great conversation.
