The customer service was fantastic! Although our hair looked amazing when we left, it did not last very long. Two of us have naturally curly hair that normally holds a curl really well, so we were slightly surprised by that. But now I have a straighter blowout that will still last me a few days.

The team at Blo Blow Dry Bar was accommodating and able to see my sister and I as walk-ins on a busy Saturday. Venessa was my stylist and she took her time shampooing and massaging my scalp. She made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. This was such a treat!

The salon is clean and beautiful. Also, my stylist, Angela, did an amazing job and my hair never has looked better! Finally, there was no wait time and I didn't spend all day on my hair 😍 Only drawback is the parking. I circled the block 4 times before I found parking in the adjacent lot, but it cost me an additional $12. That part I did not like at all. Other than that, I’ll be back!

They were incredibly helpful to me in dealing with my hair. I spent a month in the hospital recovering and in that time my very long hair got very tangled. They spent 3 hours getting my hair untangle (and I'm using tangled as an understatement) and washed out. It felt so good to get a brush through my hair I was excited to go home and brush it again. I will be forever grateful for the help and support that I received. They were so kind and didn't look down but only uplifted my spirits. Especially since I had only been out of the hospital for 3 days before Thanksgiving. I got the first comfortable sleep I've had in more than a month without the mess on my head. So they will always have my business for life.

Blo is amazing! The stylists are professional, friendly, and really know how to bring your vision to life. My blowout was quick, flawless, and lasted for days. Please save yourself the money and never go to this place , I have zero cosmetology background but atleast know how to curl hair. I paid 110$ and left and IMMEDIATLEY went home and washed and curled my hair again myself. The girl curled my hair on the left side of my face inwards and the right side outwards also only curled the ends of my extensions and didn’t blend the curls at all. This place is laughable and after reaching out online I never received a response back. Clearly they hire anyone, this is hair curling 101 and they failed miserably. It wasn’t even worth confronting the poor girl bc she clearly didn’t know what she was doing so she wouldn’t even know how to fix it.

Came here for a wedding blowout for my courthouse wedding. I asked for a bouncy blowout, showed multiple pictures and left with pin straight hair from a straightener. The hairdresser faced me away from the mirror so I couldn’t see what was going on. When I tried to turn myself I was turned back the opposite direction. I noticed all the other hairdressers did the same which I found very strange. I brought my mom and mother in law with me and while their hair turned out great, mine was unwearable. When I finally noticed the hair straightener being used, I asked to use the round brush and I was told that my hair would need to be re wet. With no time left, I asked the hairdresser to politely stop her work. I paid and left noticeably upset and not a word was said. When I got home I redid my hair using a round brush on my own. Waste of time and money sadly.

I came in on Thursday and Jamie was so sweet and friendly. I showed her some inspo pics and she gave me a natural blowout that matched the pics perfectly. My hair held up outside all night and still looked good the next morning without the crunchy feeling of too much hairspray. I’ll def be back!

I had a wonderful experience when I went to Blo. It was my bday and was just looking for some pampering and a shiny head of hair and my stylist was awesome. She understood exactly what I was looking for and delivered. Great atmosphere and lots of services to choose from. Highly recommend!

I had the BEST experience with Alice at Blo! The salon is so beautiful and all the staff members are incredibly friendly. I am obsessed with the tinsel that she put in my hair and can’t wait to get it done again! I highly recommend Blo for anyone in the area that’s looking for a great blow dry and experience!

I love the continuity of its staff, the talent, the special treatment, and most of all… The experience! Many friends and family are hooked like me and have been added to the Blo client base. I’ve been to Blo multiple times having amazing experiences all 3 times! I’ve had a wash and blo dry style by Alice who is so sweet an amazing, and I’ve had fairy hair and a fun braid updo by reina who was extremely nice and did an amazing braided updo for pride!! 10/10 recommend

Nothing but good things to say about this place! I’ve come many times for multiple services and they’ve always come through. Whether it be getting ready for a date night, Halloween party, pride month and even my wedding, Alice has always delivered for both my mother and I and we couldn’t recommend more.

Terrific service!! I was in town for a wedding and it was easy to book. Very clean and cute spot, they did a tremendous job with my hair and offer an anti-humidity treatment as well. The staff was all very professional and friendly. Would highly recommend if you’re in St Pete.

This place is a huge rip off. I joined their monthly plan knowing full well that there would be times when I would not be able to use it, due to travelling, and being in Europe for a month at a time sometimes, but they told me don't worry about it your blowouts will not expire, and if they are ever anywhere close to expiring we will always email you or call you and let you know beforehand. I went there today and they told me that all my blowouts, i don't even know how many (6 or 8 or 10? I dont know how many I had, since I had purchased the two blowouts per month plan) All my accumulated blowouts had expired and their policy is they expire after 3 months if you put your account on hold. I was absolutely not told this and was shocked. This means I lost around $400 or more. I feel like I have been robbed. Seriously? When I made the appointment a couple of days ago I told them I was looking forward to using one of my credits and getting back on the plan. She said Great! I have a girlfriend coming in to town next week and I was going to give her one of my credits so we could get our hair done together. Today I wanted to make about six appointments, two per month, going forwards and turn the billing back on again. The lady at the cash register said that I put my account on hold in November because I had too many credits accumulating that I hadn't used, so that means that everything expired in February. Today is March 17th. No one told me this when I asked them to put my account on hold! It may be in the contract, but honestly I didn't read it, and it was over a year ago, and really a reminder would have been nice? I thought I had lots of time to use my credits and that I would get an email or phone call or text reminder if they were close to expiring as they had promised me. I really am shocked and hurt and disappointed and feel like they stole my money. This is not an ethical or moral way to do business. I would never steal from my customers. _______________ Someone from there just answered, saying sorry that is our policy. That is not much of a reply and doesn't make me feel any better. It may be your policy, but it's NOT a good one. And it is really not very well explained by the staff. Had I known I was going to lose my credits, I would not have put it on hold, instead I would have let it keep billing and try to use the credits.

Because not only is everyone in the salon great stylists, Jaymie is the stylist I have do my hair every Sunday. She is phenomenal and my hair always looks fantastic after she does her majic with the round brush.
