I’ve been going to Batzy to get my haircuts for a few years now and I’m always very happy with her work! The atmosphere at Black Swan salon is very welcoming with a friendly dog which I love. Batzy is very talented and I highly recommend this salon and her services. <3

I’ve been a loyal client of Batzy's for over 10 years, and I can honestly say that she's the best hairdresser I’ve ever had (she's not the great Batzy for nothing). Batzy is an absolute genius when it comes to colour. Over the years, she’s transformed my hair in every shade imaginable. We've done pinks and purples to blonde, silver, and even emerald green. Every colour looks stunning, and she always takes such great care in making sure my hair stays healthy and vibrant. Not only is she incredibly skilled with colour, but she’s also great with cuts and styling. I trust her completely with my hair, and she always knows exactly what I want (even when I don’t). Also, shoutout to Minh for being the best nail tech around! Her work is flawless every time, and I love how she can do everything from simple manicures to intricate designs. I always leave with my nails looking perfect. The atmosphere in the salon is relaxed yet trendy, and the staff is always friendly and professional. If you're lucky you can catch Batzys pup Ryuk in the salon. Highly recommend this salon if you're looking for expert hair and nail services!!!

I get my hair done here and aside from the amazing service provided by Batzy, I feel so comfortable and welcomed as a person who is LGBTQ+. My hair always looks amazing after my appointments!!!!!!!

I have been seeing Batzy for almost 10 years and her consistency and ability to deliver on exactly what you’re asking for makes her the BEST! Black swan salon is such an elevated and classy place and the owners do their best to make sure all their clients are happy and comfortable! The products used are always high quality, and the price is fair relative to the other salons in the city. I also love the snack cart and the salon dog Ryuk 🥹❤️

Minh at Black Swan Salon welcomed me from the very first appointment. She took the time to explain the different options available and what would work best for my nails. Minh is very meticulous and takes her time to make sure each nail appointment is perfect. My nails last well over 4 weeks and never chip! I’d highly recommend their services :)

I absolutely love Batzy’s work!! I got my first highlights with her even though I still had lots of red in my hair. The result was unbelievably good. She managed to turn them to a beautiful caramel blonde! The only place I trust with my hair ❤️

I absolutely love Black Swan Salon. The atmosphere is so welcoming and never feels overwhelming or hectic. Batzy has been doing my hair for over 6 years and I’m always leaving the salon happy and loving my hair. She takes her time to listen and makes sure to know exactly what I want to do with my hair. Even when I’m not sure of what I want, she’s very patient and provides helpful suggestions. I highlyyyyy recommend visiting the salon, my experience has always been 10/10. And having Ryuk sit on your lap is definitely a bonus 🐾

I am very happy with the quality of work that Minh provides. I’ve been to several other places prior to black swan and she is by far the most detail oriented and professional nail guru out there! I am a nurse and my nails would constantly lift after 1 or 2 weeks of biogel, that is until I started going to her. I can now go four weeks between appointments and have not had any lifting thus far. Highly, highly recommend!

I found Black Swan Salon through an Instagram post. Prior to going there, my nails were constantly breaking from gel manicures done at various salons . Minh was extremely knowledgeable providing reasoning on what my nails needed. After seeing Minh, my nails are no longer breaking, my manicure lasts until my next visit now. She’s a great person, talented , high quality and easy to have a conversation with. Highly recommended.

I have loved my experiences at Black Swan. I mean, as soon as you step foot there, you’re greeted by the sweetest, most loving dog ever (Ryuk is absolutely the best). Then, in my case, the warm greeting is followed by the friendly, attentive service provided by Batzy. She takes the time to really listen and understand what you’re looking for. Beyond that, her kind personality is also matched by her professionalism, skills and talent. A 5/5 experience!

Batzy has been cutting/colouring my hair for the past 3 years and I'm always happy with the end result. I have naturally curly hair and she brought out my curls and helped me get volume in my hair after my haircut. She also gave me tips and tricks about how to style my curls and answered any questions I had. I always have a great experience here! They are very welcoming and do an amazing job!

Batzy is the best hairstylist I’ve ever been to! She’s so easy to get along with and makes the appointments fun. I’ve searched for the right stylist for so long and once I found her, it felt like I’d known her my whole life and knew from day 1 she would be my stylist forever. She is always open to suggestions and willing to work with your needs but she also genuinely cares about your hair and its health. Not to mention her little dog Ryuk who will steal your heart and sit in your lap if you let him for the whole appointment, keeping you nice and warm! Best nail experience I've ever had! I have short and soft nail beds and Minh was very knowledgeable and knew how to take care of them properly! You can tell that's she is very experienced, and if I wasn't on vacation she'd be my regular nail tech! She took extreme care and detail to my nails, I couldn't recommend this place enough! I'd rate 10/5 if I could! They also have complimentary snacks and coffee as well! My photos dont do it justice lol

I could not be happier ! I have box dyed my hair black for years . I didn’t think the results that I got would be possible . Beautiful colour - hair is still soft - healthy . Batzy took the time to look at the reference photos I brought and she nailed it !!! On top of having a great cut and colour experience - I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the salon . Batzys work is beautiful - and so is she - inside and out . Looking forward to my next appointment! <3

I haven’t been to a salon in 5 years because I haven’t found someone I was comfortable to allow touch my hair. But I have found my forever hairstylist in Batzy not only for giving me what I was looking for and giving an amazing consultation but for the over all experience. I randomly came across Black Swan Salon on Instagram and I think it was fate. I was so happy with my appointment, Batzy took the time to listen to what I wanted, what my routine was, how often I was looking to come in and she delivered! I used to go to the hair salon twice a year because I dreaded the disappointment. I've already been back to Black Swan 3 times in 2023 and plan look forward to many more visits. Highly recommend! Also, can we talk about how awesome it is to cuddle with her dog the whole time!

I’be been seeing Batzy for about 5 years now and there’s no one else I trust more with my hair. She makes me feel comfortable and confident in my new colour/ cut. She told me a year ago I should go copper but didn’t pressure me, and once I came around to it I knew she was right. I always leave feeling so good and excited. Minh is a miracle worker. She exonerated me of all nail biting shame and treated me to the most caring nail service I’ve ever received. My hands and nails now look so healthy and beautiful. The best service I've had :) Batzy knows what she's doing. Went from my plain hairstyle with the same length all around to layered, textured and dyed. She put that forehead away and shaped my face so well.
