Honestly, the only reason why I went to this salon was because it was close to my house. I did like how Ms. Justine did my silk press but not how she styled it. But this is when I had to drop her review real quick. I was trying to book an appointment one time and she told me that all of her clients book a year in advance. Girl ain’t nobody booking you a year in advance because people don’t even know what they’re gonna do in a year 😭. Like what was that about? And then Ms. Justine try to schedule me for days that I don’t have available. So you’re better off going to the Valley than her.

Asked for an available slot time, they didn’t have one that worked for me which was fine, then they say don’t ever call again :/. Weird unprofessional attitude is unacceptable. The hostility began with the person who answered the phone, these kind of businesses need to train their employees better on customer service !

Great experience in this salon today! My daughter had 2 box braids slip out and they got us in last minute to help get it fixed. We are traveling, and found Justine by a quick Google search. So glad we did! Thank you!

Although it’s been awhile since I’ve been here since Covid I throughly enjoyed my service here with all the hairstylist Ms. Justine and Ms. Channon. Ms. Channon has carried us through many dance performances where my daughter needed her hair braided and many vacays when we needed our hair to be on point. She even took care of my natural hair and allowed it to grow.They were always on time, remained professional and made my daughter and I feel like family. Not one time can I recall that I ever felt any different. The name stands on its own, by having them care that I deserve. This includes the service, professionalism, hair knowledge and connection. I would recommend this place and still recommend this black hair salon to others. Miss you ladies! We will always seek y’all first for our hair care.

Channon does my hair care! She does an amazing job putting in my extensions. I have had lemonade braids and I get compliments all the time. My hair continued to grow and is healthier than ever! The establishment has COVID certification. I would recommended Black Hair Care by Justine and I am glad I am their customer.

I went to Justine so i could start the dreadlocking my hair. She is Incredible! Such a warm and friendly woman, as is everybody else that works there. I come out of that place feeling rejuvenated and like a million bucks. I cut off my dreadlocks for professional reasons but best believe i will return so i can start the dreadlock journey all over again. That place is magical and it’s because everyone who works there is a wizard with hair. Incredible establishment, amazing people. I just honestly cannot praise this business enough.

Part I Our hair dresser was Miss Clarette and she came to the rescue when my 13 year-old daughter was having a “Hairmergency!!”She was patient with us, listened to our concerns,previous grievances about our past beauticians, offered suggestions, and most of all gave us hope! It is important for a hairdresser to be knowledgeable about hair care and maintenance and Miss Clarette walked us through everything in order to make us comfortable . My daughter suffers from anxiety so it is crucial that she be aware of everything that’s about to happen, what’s happening now, and uh.. what u bout to do to me next!?! Miss Clarette showed her compassion and put her at ease. My daughter ultimately got the majority of her hair cut off, but she loves her new look and we have Miss Clarette to thank for all of it. Part II Thought I was finished? Nope! I told my daughter that I would cut a lot of my hair off because I didn’t want her to feel alone with having short hair. Since Clarette did such a great job on my daughter’s hair, I wanted for her to cut mine as well. So when I went in for my appointment, the other beauticians were also very warm and welcoming. I got the chance to meet Miss Justine who was the one who actually referred me to Miss Clarette. She was also very helpful and gave me tips for my daughters hair care. As I’m getting my hair did, the other hair dressers engaged in conversations with me and just made me feel welcomed (I would feel even more welcomed with a cup of coffee... but u ain’t heard that from me 😉)! I was sooo thrilled with the hair cut especially because this is the first time that I’ve had shorter hair. I’m a curly girl and it takes a special kind of skill to cut curlier hair. Miss Clarette Scissor hands had me walk-in out of the shop feeling like a million Pesos.. see that’s what beauticians do... they make magic!! Thank you soooo very mucho Clarette!!! I should nominate u for a Hoodie Award girl!! SORRY FOLKS, it’s not allowing me to post any pictures 😩 Welp, I guess y’all just gone have to jtake my word for it....We’re fly!!

Hello all, When I visited BHC by Justine about 5 months ago I had experienced the barber chair hatchet COVID19 cut ✂️ shut in and down. My friend suggested her son's barber to maintain my style HORRIBLE! I went in looking cute came out like the bookworm he cut my edges and center pieces of my crown off. I became depressed 😔. Looking for a close solution on Google found BHC by Justine. My hair was restored with the steam treatments and her hair growing Ms. Justine Organic hair growth oils.....hey now LOVING ❤ IT!! THX U JUSTINE 😘

I stumbled across this place after calling salons that didn't answer or were ridiculously overpriced. Luckily, I was able to get in touch with someone from here and they were super friendly and address you by your first name. Very professional with normal rates for hairstyles and they also do a wide variety of styles. Claret helped me out with knotless braids and we had a blast the entire time along with Ms. Justine and the rest of the staff. I'm from out of state so it was a nice experience getting braids done for once. Usually places are boring and unprofessional but certainly not here. They are so upbeat and positive. I can't explain the amount of laughs we all had during my last minute appointment. Will certainly be going back!! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND & the shop also has hair on the premises which is a plus for me because I didn't want to uber around to beauty supply stores. YOU ARE ALL AWESOME! Can't wait to see you all again 💓
