I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bella Curls Salon, and I can't speak highly enough of the experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and made to feel at home. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing time. Alana, the stylist who worked with me, truly went above and beyond. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about curly hair and took the time to assess my hair's needs. She gave me personalized advice on care and styling and was extremely gentle throughout the process. The results were nothing short of amazing – my curls have never looked better, more defined, and healthy! What stood out the most was Alana’s attention to detail and her genuine care for making sure I left happy with the results. I will definitely be returning for future services and highly recommend Bella Curls Salon to anyone with curly hair looking for expert care and top-notch service.

I can’t say enough great things about Bella Curl Salon in Tucson and Alana, who took care of my daughter’s curly hair. We’ve always loved her curls, but we didn’t know the best way to care for them, so they were often frizzy or tied back. When my daughter asked for help figuring it out, I read the Google reviews and decided to book with Alana. It was the best decision we could have made! From the moment we arrived, Alana made the experience enjoyable and stress-free. She immediately put my daughter at ease with her warm, friendly demeanor and genuine interest in understanding our needs. Alana listened carefully when we said it was important to keep enough length so my daughter could tie her hair back for hockey practice. She worked with such skill and precision, and the results were incredible—her curls look healthy, defined, and absolutely stunning. What really impressed me was how Alana took the time to teach my daughter step-by-step how to care for her curls. She explained everything so clearly, from washing to styling, and gave practical tips that we could actually follow. She also recommended a few products but never pushed anything, which I really appreciated. The best part was seeing my daughter’s excitement and pride in her hair afterward. Her smile said it all! Alana went above and beyond to ensure we left not just happy with the results but confident in how to maintain them. Thank you, Alana, for your incredible care, expertise, and attention to detail. All I can say is WOW! After moving from the ocean to the desert my curls lost their bounce and were so sad to look at. I walked in hopeful that Nina could help my curls find their bounce again but was also not holding my breath as I have had hairstylist not cut my hair great in the past. From the moment I sat in the chair it this was different! Nina examined my hair and explained how my hormones, stress and hard water have all played a factor in my curl pattern. She explained each step of the process and actually taught me how to maintain my curls! Curly hair girlies we have found our salon! 1000/10 would recommend! Thank you Nina!

I found Bella Curly Salon in March and since then, I have come back several times for both my cuts and color. Alana is my go-to and she absolutely KILLS it every time! She is so kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and takes so much pride in what she does. Since my first visit, Alana has tailored all of my services to the exact needs of my hair. She goes above and beyond to ensure that I am getting exactly what I want out of my visit and she provides in-depth education about products, techniques, and styling each time. I can’t count how many times I get stopped and complimented on my curls since coming to Bella. As a curly girl who used to hate my curls and did not know how to care for them, it means so much to be able to finally embrace them and give them the love they deserve thanks to Alana and her talent. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your salon. My recent visit was disappointing, and I believe it is important to bring these concerns to your attention to prevent others from experiencing a similar situation. Firstly, I was surprised to find that the front door of the salon was locked during business hours. As this was my first visit, I had to wait for the door to be unlocked upon my arrival, and it was promptly locked again after I entered. Throughout my appointment, I observed the staff repeatedly locking and unlocking the door for other guests and delivery drivers, which seemed unusual and unwelcoming. My appointment was with Alana, who claimed to be a curly hair and texture specialist. Unfortunately, the results of my haircut suggest otherwise. Despite asking for my layers to be maintained while keeping my length, I was left with harsh, blunt layers that are extremely uneven. When I asked Alana about my curl type, she stated that she didn’t know because she hadn't seen my curls, which is inaccurate since I arrived with my hair in its natural curly state. Following the appointment, I reached out to Alana via message to express my dissatisfaction, and was offered a free hair cut in the future with her mentor or to allow her to correct her mistake (thank you but I would never return nor do I need more hair chopped off). Due to the severity of the damage to my hair, I now need to get extensions to correct the mistakes made during my visit or wait several years under a baseball cap until my hair and layers grow back evenly. I later visited my usual salon to have my hair fixed, and the stylist there was shocked at the uneven, blunt layers and lines Alana had cut. After seven years of growing out my hair and getting my layers all one length, I was devastated to have so much length cut off and to be left with short, thick sections of hair that are difficult to manage. The photos attached show the before and aftermath of my haircut, which is not only embarrassing but also costly and time consuming to repair. This experience has left me with very low self confidence and I am now in a state of depression. I strongly urge you to review the qualifications and certifications of your stylists, especially those who claim to be specialists. It seems like Alana only has one cookie cutter haircut she follows and may be lying about her license or certification in curly and textured hair. I feel misled and victimized by this experience, and I hope steps are taken to ensure this doesn’t happen to others. Please look into this matter and take appropriate action and proceed with caution when visiting this salon. I would hate for something like this to happen to someone else.

The best salon in town!!! I have struggled with finding confidence in my hair my whole life. Embracing my curls and taking proper care of them is something I have always wanted to do but not something I was taught to do growing up. Today people stop me in public just to compliment my hair/haircut and this is all thanks to my hairstylist Alana! Alana is the kindest, most genuine human you will ever encounter. Her and Nina always make me feel extremely welcome when going to get my hair done. This salon’s environment created by these girls is so contagiously positive that I find excuses to visit more often. If you need guidance as to how to embrace your hair definitely visit Alana. If you want to have the best salon experience Bella Curl Salon can give you that.

This was my fourth visit to the salon, and once again, Alana exceeded my expectations. She’s the only stylist I trust with my curly hair! I’m incredibly grateful to have found a curly hair salon in Tucson, especially one with trained specialists who prioritize customer service and genuinely care about their clients. Since my first curly cut with Alana, my hair has grown significantly, and she always takes the time to educate me about my hair type, styling techniques, and how to protect my curls. Alana listens carefully to what I want and consistently delivers exceptional results. After years of leaving salons disappointed due to stylists who lacked proper training in curly hair, I’m thrilled to have finally found someone as knowledgeable and passionate as Alana, who truly helps others embrace their natural curls. Went in for the first time toda for a curly cut with Alana, and was amazing! I have thick, wavy/curly hair, and often times I am left dissatisfied with any cuts, as I often feel like no one knows how to cut my hair, and am always left with a "not quite right shape" frizz, and somehow, split ends still. This was not the case with Alana, she asked me questions, listened, offered advice and input. By the end of the appointment my hair was in the best shape I had ever seen it after a cut. I kept saying "I dont know if I've ever seen my natural curl so pronounced!" Her advice on things I can do at home were reasonable and I am excited to try out some of her suggestions! I will definitely be back!

Illiyanna came and saved me! My daughters last 2 cuts were not great. My daughter has curly hair and has not had a cut in the last 2 and a half years. Putting my trust in illiyanna (having curly hair herself) was the best choice. She's so patient and took her time. I highly recommend her. Thank you again, you're the best in what you do.

This hands down is the best curly hair cut I have ever gotten. Nina was super intelligent about everything curly and every curl type. The shop is nice and everyone who works there was super friendly. I highly recommend Nina and her salon for any needs you may need especially curly hair.

Nina is a very talented curly hair stylist!! I have gotten so many compliments on my hair and it's only been one day so far!! She also provides an excellent, tailored experience - consultation, haircut, deep conditioning and styling. Wow!! Highly recommend.
