I started out with the other spot in Southside wasn't a fan , they kept cutting my nails when I didn't ask, electric foling tooo far butn my nails and then the anc coloring process seem to get worse and worse. Until one day I went to beauty nails and met Sean I told him I had and overlay of acrylic and I wanted them filled and a design. He took great care and oh what a steady hand he has so creative too. I will recommend him any time.

I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone. I got a full set of ANC nails on Friday, by Monday I had one broken nail. Then FOUR days after that another one breaks. So, within a week 2 nails have broken off.

She took an hour and 40 mins to do my nails. She filed them extremely short and not even 3 days later they started to break. Waste of my time waste of my money and it seems to be a lot of the time recently. Used to be very good I’m extremely disappointed in the new faces there.

I generally enjoy the services here. However they are very inconsistent. I get the same pedicure (milk spa pedi $78) and it is never the same experience. I brought my friend here and she got the paraffin pedi. She said the girl was very rough on her. We waited 20-30 min to let the polish dry. They were still tacky but we left; 30 mins is too long to sit and let polish dry. well the polish never dried and was tacky and came off her toes like chewed bubble gum. Talking with her the tech never cleaned her nails after the paraffin causing the polish to be gummy. She returned to get it fixed, they ignored her and accepted other customers. She waited patiently as long as she could and was still ignored. she finally spoke up and left. We will not return based on that poor service and customer care.

Terrible customer service. My paraffin wax wasn't removed fully last night before my toenails were painted. All the polish smeared off hours later. I returned today to have it remedied. I waited over an hour while they took 7 more pedicure customers who arrived after me. They discussed the issue with me three times while I was there. They were fully aware I was waiting. Unacceptable and very disappointing. They lost a customer today who has overlooked previous mistakes and still frequented your business. I wish negative stars was an option. Super unprofessional. Would never recommend.

The fact that they have glow in the dark gel is an automatic 5star. I have yet to have a problem there. And will continue going. Natural nail length, just acrylic and gel polish over top

Brought my 12 year old daughter yesterday to get her nails done for the first time.... AND SHE LOVES THEM! The guy who did her nails (sorry i didn't get his name) did great! And the flowers came out AMAZING!! Thank you so much!!

They are expensive, I had an a/c manicure with extensions that cost me $80 and 3 of them broke in a matter of 2 weeks. The glue is weak and overpriced. I have gone to other places and it costs less money and the nails stay on longer. I will not be returning.

I had a gel mani/pedi and the gentleman who took care of me did a great job. He took his time, I didn’t feel rushed and it was very relaxing. Definitely recommend, this man takes great pride in his work.

I had my nails done there 3 weeks ago and by day 5 3 of my nails broke off completely! I asked for an ombré w nail polish but the tech insisted that he can only do it w the dip powder!! Never heard of that before but ok. My nails cost me $80 and all I wanted was I full set of acrylic nails and an ombré polish of pink and white. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN!!! And I wasn’t given my neck massage after my service either!!!! Get it together or your going to lose more clients!!!

I normally wouldn't leave a review like this without asking them to fix the situation first. So after going to get a gel pedicure (because I can't do my own) and paying $83 for it, the polish looked awful and dull. I called to have it fixed and their idea of fixing it was to put a layer of lacquer top coat on, that's not what I paid for.... anyway I won't be returning and just finding a way to do my own at the shop

I went with my friend for a refill . She paid for my nails while I was getting them done since hers were done . She did not leave a tip because I found out she had a painful experience like myself . The lady doing my nails kept repeatedly asking me if she forgot to tip and asking my about the tip and at one point she had the drill to my hand and wasn’t even looking at me because she was to busy worrying about the tips and cut my finger to the point of bleeding . I verbally said ouch and she pretended it didn’t happen. I have multiple breaks in my skin where she was being too harsh . At one point she told me to relax and was going so hard that the buffer she was using for my hands flung out of her grip and whipped behind me. At the end of all this I tipped her anyway because she was so persistent and she asked me if I was going to tip her coworker too who did my friends nails and I said no . Very unprofessional and unpleasant . My nails are also lumpy so not worth the time spent

Lasted all of 5 days. 50 dollars for anc dip and they don’t even stay on. The guy took almost two hours to do two colors, my pointer finger was crooked. The quality was horrible, they were all rough shapes and then he rushed at the end, no cuticle oil, no anything. Nicked my cuticles. The lady who did my feet was wonderful to contrast. Would recommend her, super pleasant and considerate about my comfort and her attention to detail was phenomenal.

The services are fine but this place is so dirty and unsanitary. None of the tools looked clean and when I put my hands in the LED lights for a gel manicure, they were filthy. It also looked like they haven’t vacuumed or dusted in years. Pretty unwelcoming

Tried this salon two weeks ago for a gel pedicure and full set of gel nails. I asked for Joyce to do my nails, but it was her day off. A young man did my pedicure. He had no English skills. My toenails were all shaped differently when he was done, and the big toe has large amounts of excessive gel. I don’t know how else to explain it. The manager of the shop did the fill on my nails. He was continuously getting phone calls during my manicure. He would get up walk away. Come back. Get up walk away. Come back. The two services were $130. OMG. That’s ridiculous. I would’ve been OK paying that except the very next day, the peeling of the nail polish began. Within three days, the polish was peeling off four of my nails. I went back to the salon, which is an hour drive each way, and asked for my manicure to be fixed. The manager said, “who did this? “I said, “you did! After the two argued in mandarin, a young girl told me that she would fix my nails, it would be $20. You’ve got to be kidding?!? My voice raised, and I said, “You will fix, no charge!” When the whole salon could hear me, the story changed. Then, the girl was only going to replace the four nails. I said, “No, you need to redo all my nails.” She finally fixed the entire manicure, which in the end was just an adequate job. It’s so disappointing that there is not a consistently good salon in Oneonta that does not have a negative, angry-manager-sweatshop vibe.

Update: my nails lifted cuticle side less than a week after having them done here… will be going to someone else to have them fixed……I’ve added the updated price list, this was by far by best experience at beauty, before I had bleeding cuticles walking out, but they have gotten so much better, I’m sad Joyce leaves 9/18 she was so wonderful! She was so kind when I said hey can we fix this here. I will definitely be going back to try her recommended colleagues.

Went there for a basic gel pedicure after growing my toenails out for a desired length and shape. I asked for the shape of my toenails to be square shaped as they were at the time a sat on the spa seat. The person who did my nail, however, was clearly inexperienced and may have had a hard time understanding my English. He never directly responded to any request I had about the shape of my toenail, and by the time he was done shaping them, they were beyond short, uneven, and filed to a weird oval shape that was unnatural to how my real nails actually grow. He particularly over-filed the left and right sides of my two big toes to the point that it was impossible to ever correct them and get them back to the shape they were prior to me walking into the salon. In the end, I had to speak up for myself and request someone else to apply acrylic over every toenail of mine to correct the mistakes he made in shaping my real nails. I ended up paying way more out of pocket to received the desired look I initially requested and I’ll probably will have to wear acrylic over my toes for a long time while my real nail grows out due to the way he butchered them. My last time I’ll ever spend any amount of money here. The nail salons in Oneonta, especially this one, is just not worth it.

Went there my first time I had a good experience. I worked a month straight 16 hr shifts no off days so I finally decided to take a day off and wanted to go to the salon and relax get a mani and pedi, OMG they were so mean and had attitudes rolling there eyes and talking to each other in their language . I had been there and I asked for a full set and a pedicure my co worker was also there and she wanted a pedi they told us come sit so as I get close to finishing my toes I asked about my nails the guy then ask you want nails too I said yes I explained that when I first came in he walked off smacked his lips and went back to the lady feet that he were doing it was very embarrassing. I paid a Uber $60 just to get to that nail shop from Cooperstown. I will never go back again

My nails look good, but I find it very rude not to speak English with your coworkers. And It was difficult to understand them and get across what I wanted done. Plus, I don't see them cleaning between customers.
