I have been going to Baxter's for several years now and always book with Miranda Southwick. Each time I come in I am impressed with her knowledge and professionalism when it comes to getting the right haircut. Whether I just need a quick trim or looking for something new, I know I'm in good hands with Miranda and have never been disappointed. This girl is a rockstar!

I’ve been going to Baxters for a couple years now and Miranda always does a great job with my cut and color! I’ve tried a couple other places but always find myself unsatisfied and driving 45+ minutes back to Miranda!

If you are looking to get lash extensions, Lilly is your girl! I’ve been going to her since before she even graduated and she never disappoints! I’ve had classics, hybrid, and volume and she always gets them as full as she possibly can! She’s super sweet and friendly as well! Overall she’s amazing!

I’ve gone to several lash techs in the Mankato area and Lilly is definitely the best! I recommend her to all my friends & family that are looking to get their lashes done. She’s also super sweet and very reasonably priced!

Miranda is my go to girl!! She does the best colors and styling!! I highly recommend her! I have never been disappointed when Miranda does my hair!! My hair is hard to style so props to your stylist Miranda!! She is so great!

Service is good depends who you go to, its a solo salon, they work when they please, each one rents their own space so if you don't have an appointment don't expect any attention, personally would not recommend this place.

Absolutely horrible service, l've gone to Miranda multiple times to get my hair done and she has messed up multiple times and doesn't seem to care when I express that. This previous time she messed up my color horribly and refused to give me a refund. With O care in the world she offered to fix it but after how many times she's messed up I did not trust her with my hair and went to a different hair stylist instead. After contacting her via text message, she has ignored me for multiple days when I'm trying to figure out what we can do to resolve the problem but still continues to ignore me and be very very immature.

I brought my son in for a haircut for our wedding in October and because of issues my son has with texture I had to get his hair cut last min I wish I remember our stylist name because my son liked her and wants to go back she did a great job with him and made sure to resurre him his tail in back would grow back

I go to Jessica every time. I don't always know exactly what I want done, but Jessica always comes up with amazing ideas for color and the cut she feels would work best with my hair type, the shape of my face, and all the things that go into the whole process. I have always been very pleased with the outcome! Jessica is professional, polite and very knowledgeable of her craft. Thanks Jessica!!

I went in for a root touch up as I have brown hair and my roots are a dark blonde. Emma colored my roots red when my hair isn’t red. She told me the color would look better not in the salon and “the lights in here are harsh”. I left and was extremely upset as my hair was just as light before I got colored and red. I emailed twice expressing my concern and attached pictures and they aren’t responding to me. Go elsewhere!

If you have young kiddos, ask for Emma! Very good with kids. Gives great cuts and can be quick if needed.

In the few times of me being in Miranda’s chair I learned a LOT about my hair and how to take care of it to make sure it always looks fabulous. Once she was done I was extremely happy with the outcome. Excited and so happy to see my hair look so great and I loved everything that was done!!!!

I’m pretty particular about my hair and Jessica K. gets it right every time. She is both professional and friendly which makes for an enjoyable experience and the salon itself has a nice atmosphere. I appreciate that she always makes sure to confirm what I want done before she gets started and that it’s styled beautifully before I leave.

Overpriced for what you got, and the hairdresser was very unfriendly. Jessica did my hair. I showed her the picture but didn't get the hairstyle that I wanted. Totally wasted my time and money. The haircut that I got was really awful! Worse than that, they overcharged you compared to other hair salons. I would never ever go back there again!!

Used to be a great place to get a haircut now they're too lazy to pick up the phone which makes it impossible to make an appointment. I've tried the make an appointment online thing and did one time, it confirmed the appointment then when I show up she says I don't see you booked for an appointment but I didn't screenshot the confirmation to show her proof. So I've called 3 times since then left my name and number on the voice-mail and never got a call back. Horrible Service, I'd currently rate Baxters 0/10, especially if I'd have to show up in person make an appointment then come back weeks later for the actual cut.
