I have followed Laurie around for over ten years - she’s that good! I have curly hair and she makes it look GREAT. She is fantastic with color and highlights. Her place is always clean and welcoming.

I was referred to Barwick Hair and More. The shop is clean and the decor is calming. Lorie is a professional talented hairstylist. She is the first to cut my straight hair into layers and have it look good. I’m enjoying my new style and the compliments that I have received. Looking forward to my new color appointment.

Lori has cut my hair for the last 17 years, and I love how she knows exactly what to do and modify it, so I do not get bored! When she colors it, it looks amazing. I also appreciate her sharing new products! Highly recommend!

Her salon is feminine, relaxing, and very clean. She keeps a log of everything she uses in and does to my hair, what works, what doesn’t, and what to try. I love that appointments are very personable and that she appoints one client at a time.

At some point in your life you were either new to a city or looking for a new hairdresser. I was new to Gainesville in 2007. I tried many salons when 2009 I happened upon Lori Barwick. I happily continued through the years as she opened her own salon. We have had and still have a lot of fun experimenting with short/long styles, perms and colour. The end result of each visit has always been very pleasing. Lori is not only a talented hair dresser keeping abreast of new styles and colours, she is a genuine, caring, thoughtful lady.

I have been going to Lori for many years and will not change. She will have to dump me first. She does a terrific job with my short, straight unglamorous hair. People have stopped me on the streets to ask me who styles my hair. A definite 5 stars from me.
